    THE EFFECT OF DISCOUNTS, ELECTRONIC WORD OF MOUTH (EWOM), AND PRICE TOWARDS INTEREST IN BUYING IN E-COMMERCE

    The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Discounted Price, Electronic Word of Mouth, and Price affect the Purchase Interest of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Students in Shopee E-Commerce. The population used is the students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The number of samples in this study were 100 students of UIN Sunan Kallijaga Yogyakrata. This study uses primary data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 23. The results of this study indicate that Discounted Price has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Interest, Electrnic Word of Mouth has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Purchase Interest, Word of Mouth has a significant effect on Purchase Interest and Harag has a positive and significant effect on Buy Interest. Together, Discounts, Electronic Word of Mouth and Prices have a positive and significant effect on the Purchasing Interest of UIN Sunan Kaljaga Yogyakarta Students in E-Commerce Shopee. Companies should develop a Discount, Electronic Word of Mouth and Price strategy with the hope of increasing consumer Purchase Interest and can be used as a reference for the development and deepening of marketing management knowledge of FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga student

    Effect of BI Rate, Inflation and Index Dow Jones Against Jakarta Islamic Index (JII)

    The capital market in Indonesia is developing with the presence of the Islamic capital market through a collaboration between the Indonesia Stock Exchange and PT. Danareksa Investment Management by launching the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) on July 3, 2000. The existence of Islamic mutual funds emerged as an answer to the concerns of Muslim investors regarding interest, speculation, and unclear investment in mutual funds. This study aimed to estimate the effect of inflation, BI Rate, Exchange Rate and Dow Jones Industrial Average Index on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). This study uses secondary data based on time series from Quarter 1: 2008-Quarter 4: 2018, obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and Financial Economics and Statistics. The analytical method used for this study uses an analytical approach multiple linear regression. Based on the simultaneous test shows that the Inflation, BI Rate, Exchange Rate and Dow Jones Index influence together on JII. Based on the results of the study it was found that the Inflation variable partially and significantly affected JI

    Relationship Between Eco-Efficiency on Firm Value Moderated with Profitability and Leverage

    A large number of potential investors begin to consider the idea of responsible investment social responsibility. However, the debate over whether the value should be added as an environmental consideration for the stock selection process is still being debated. This study tries to improve the efficiency, profitability and leverage hypothesis of firm value. The sample used was 81 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and sent in 2014-2018 and using the rupiah. The data analysis tool used in this study is multiple linear regression estimated with OLS (Ordinary Least Square). The collected data is then processed and tested using SPSS 22 software. Based on the results of research analyzing the effect of eco-efficiency on firm value with profitability and leverage on the manufacturing industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2012 to 2016, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect between eco-efficiency on firm value

    Credit Risk Management in Financial Institution: Comparative Study in Islamic and Conventional Banking

    Credit and financing problems at conventional banks and Islamic banks are related to how businesses that have been financed by banks can be run, whether the loan recipient has actually run the business as stated in the contract or the business manager has been denied. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in Non-Performing Loans in conventional banks and Non-Performing Financing of Islamic banks. Hypothesis testing techniques in this study used the first two choices of independent sample t-test if the data were normally distributed so the classical assumptions were tested first to ensure that the data used by researchers had a normal distribution and if the data were not normally distributed will use the Mann Whitney test to test the difference between Non Performing Loans and Non Performing Financing in Islamic commercial banks and conventional banks.. So the results of this study indicate that there are differences between PT. Bank Mandiri and NPF of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, or it can be said there is a difference between ratios that indicate the ability of bank management in managing loans or financing problems provided by PT. Bank Mandiri and PT Bank Syariah Mandiri

    DETERMINAN INVESTASI NEGARA AMERIKA SERIKAT KE NEGARA ANGGOTA ORGANISASI KERJASAMA ISLAM TAHUN 1991-2016

    Abstract This study aims to analyze the factors that have become the motives and behavior of United States (US) outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) to four samples of member countries of Islamic Cooperation Organzation (OIC). The OFDI motives of US are classified into market seeking, efficiency seeking, and resource seeking. While OFDI behavior in US is divided into two, namely complementary to export or substitution to export. The analysis technique used is Error Correction Model (ECM). The results of this study indicate that in the long term there are known market seeking motives of US OFDI to Turkey and Malaysia. In the long term, there are known efficiency seeking motives of US OFDI to Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. In the short term, market seeking and efficiency seeking motives of US only exist in Turkey. Whereas resource seeking motives of Unite States OFDI are not found in four samples of OIC member countries both in the long term and in the short term. As for the behavior of US OFDI it is known that US in the long term and short-term complementary behavior toward US export to three samples of OIC member countries (Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Malaysia). On the contrary, US OFDI in the long term and short-term substitution toward the export of US to Turkey.Key words : market seeking, efficiency seeking, resource seeking, complementary and substitutionJEL Classification: F20, F21, F23 AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meganalisis faktor-faktor yang menjadi motif dan perilaku investasi asing langsung ke luar negeri (OFDI) Amerika Serikat ke empat sampel negara anggota Organisasi Kerjasama Islam (OKI). Motif OFDI Amerika Serikat diklasifikasikan dalam market seeking, efficiency seeking, dan resource seeking. Sedangkan perilaku OFDI Amerika Serikat dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu komplementer terhadap ekspor atau substitusi terhadap ekspor. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Error Correction Model (ECM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada jangka panjang diketahui adanya motif market seeking OFDI Amerika Serikat ke negara Turki dan Malaysia. Pada jangka panjang diketahui adanya motif efficiency seeking dari OFDI Amerika Serikat ke negara Arab Saudi dan Indonesia. Pada jangka pendek motif market seeking maupun motif efficiency seeking dari OFDI Amerika Serikat hanya ada pada negara Turki. Sedangkan motif resource seeking dari OFDI Amerika Serikat tidak ditemukan pada empat sampel negara anggota OKI baik dalam jangka panjang maupun dalam jangka pendek. Adapun mengenai perilaku dari OFDI Amerika Serikat diketahui bahwa OFDI Amerika Serikat dalam jangka panjang dan jangka pendek  berperilaku komplementer terhadap ekspor Amerika Serikat ke tiga sampel negara anggota OKI (Arab Saudi, Indonesia, dan Malaysia). Sebaliknya OFDI Amerika Serikat dalam jangka panjang dan jangka pendek berperilaku substitusi terhadap ekspor Amerika Serikat ke negara Turki.Kata kunci: market seeking, efficiency seeking, resource seeking, komplementer dan substitusi.JEL Classification: F20, F21, F23   

    Effect of Company Performance on Sharia Commercial Bank Executive Compensation in Indonesia

    After the disclosure of data from companies, research on executive compensation began to develop. Several studies on executive compensation in banking found that the determination of compensation is positively related to company performance. This research aims to determine the relationship between company performance and executive compensation of Islamic Commercial Bank’s  in Indonesia. Company performance is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). This study uses a sample of Islamic Commercial Banks because they have very good performance growth and currently only have a market share of 6.18% compared to the national financial market so they still have the potential to experience growth.  Furthermore, sample used 14 Islamic commercial banks registered with the OJK during 2014-2019. The research method used panel data regression analysis. The results showed that the performance of Islamic Commercial Bank’s has an effect on executive compensation. Islamic Commercial Bank Executives have an obligation to improve company performance (ROA) because it affects the compensation received by the executive

    The Impact of Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership Free Trade Agreement on Indonesian Economy

    Islamic law is inclined toward free trade and condemned imposing tariffs on trade with other states. Even when tariffs were imposed, they were imposed based on reciprocity. The Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) is a free trade agreement to realize tariff elimination. CPTPP was signed by 11 countries in Santiago, Chile, on March 8, 2018, and this renewed agreement attracted Indonesia to join. This study analyzes the possible impact of CPTPP implementation on the Indonesian economy using the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) model. We conduct a simulation to evaluate the impact of CPTPP on the Indonesian economy. The results show that the implementation of CPTPP leads to an increase in the real GDP and welfare of Indonesia. Also, the study found that CPTPP is beneficial to members. These results generally justify the elimination of tariffs promoted by Islamic law

    Mediating Effect of Islamic Social Reporting on the Relationship between Good Corporate Governance and Company Value: The Case of the State-Owned Enterprises

    The concept of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is related to the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) which guarantees that the funds invested in the company are well managed and will provide adequate returns so that this can attract investors and indirectly can increase the company value. This research aims to analyze the indirect effect of GCG rating on company value through the disclosure of ISR and it also attempts to analyze the direct effect of GCG and ISR toward company value, and the effect of GCG towards ISR. This research used quantitative and descriptive approaches with secondary data. The state-owned enterprises in the manufacturing and mining sector listed in the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) were selected as the sample of the study. The method used in this study includes descriptive statistical analysis, partial least square, and mediation test. The result shows that GCG has a positive effect on company value and ISR disclosure, while ISR disclosure does not affect company value. However, GCG does not affect company value through ISR disclosure. This indicates that ISR disclosure has no mediation effect on the relationship between GCG and company value

    Effect of Customer Value and Satisfaction on Customer Loyalty: Evidence on Indonesian Islamic Bank

    Given the importance of perceived value and high satisfaction for companies in creating loyalty to achieve their goals and to empirically prove testing, the researchers formulated the problem in research specifically: (1) Does perceived value have an influence on customer loyalty, (2) Does satisfaction affect customer loyalty?. This study uses a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach which is carried out through AMOS software. This research was conducted by utilizing community surveys with online questionnaire. The Sample of this research is 150 respondents, majority of respondents came from the provinces of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the analysis show: customer value has a positive effect on customer satisfaction (CR = 2.492, P = 0.019, H1 supported), customer value has a positive effect on customer loyalty (CR = 2.53, P = 0.026, H2 supported), customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty (C.R. = 3.521, P = 0.000, H3 supported). Satisfaction are in a position to create a positive response to the creation of services for consumers, furthermore perceived value plays an important role in representing various client needs and company satisfaction, in the right preferences

    Waqf Edumedia: Social Media as a Means of Developing Waqf Literacy in Indonesia

    Waqf is one of the financing instruments in Islam. Along with the times, waqf is transformed not only consumptive but also productive. The potential for waqf in Indonesia in 2019 is based on data from the Indonesian Waqf Board or BWI of 300 Trillion per year, but this has not been realized by the general public. In reality, this potential cannot be optimally realized, one of which is due to the low level of literacy in public knowledge about waqf. The purpose of this research is to find out and empirically test how social media can increase the level of community literacy about waqf. The method used in this research is quantitative with Technology Acceptance Models (TAM) which is processed through structural equation modeling (SEM). Collecting data in the field using a survey method with a questionnaire instrument. This research is expected to be able to contribute to the development of waqf literacy so that it can optimize the potential of waqf.Keywords : Waqf, Waqf Edumedia, Social Media, TA
