Veil Type Selection Based on Perceptions of its Main Function: Its Impact on Fashion Spending
As time goes by, veil (the hijab) which is originally an obligation enacted by the religious teaching, nowadays developed into a fashion trend. Veil is not just a simple fashion component with the main purpose of covering the female head and another part of body which should not be seen by the others (aurat). Certain accessories often become addition to veil (fashionable) due to the aesthetic reason making it demands a greater spending rather than not wearing any veil at all. It is a veiling phenomenon that we might call as the “Above Mecca, below Mall” style. On the other hand, internalized value as a component of VBN (Value-Belief-Norm) theory might be more dominant in affecting her subjective norm and therefore translated into her perception that veiling is an obligation of religious teaching which she must obey rather than the surrounding external environment such as trends among her peer groups or workplace rules. Our raw data was collected from 150 female students divided into 3 groups; veil weares type-1 (sharia veil), type-2 (fashionable veil) and non (non-veil) wearers, from 5 universities in Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The analysis was done in two sequential steps. Firstly, we revealed which one among the two concepts is the most prioritized and converted it into a score using an important variable named perception using AHP (Analytical Hierarchical Process) instrument. As the second step, multinomial logit model was used as the first-stage of 2-SLS regression where the perception score is one of several dependent variables, then an outcome prediction (what) was used at the second instrumented stage on veil type wearers. The study found that veil type-1 users have smaller fashion spending allocation rather than the two other sample groups. This indicates that marketers should design their strategies keeping in mind that female college students consumers at Padang city are influenced by significant others when making their purchasing decision
Implementation Of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method in Determining Priorities for Solutions to Zakat Management Problems in Lumajang Regency
Zakat can appear as a sharia economic instrument that can balance an economy and fix the severity and depth of poverty. The potential of zakat in Lumajang is quite significant, but the total zakat funds collected are still far from the total target and potential of existing zakat funds. From there it can be seen that serious problems create gaps in the management of zakat. This study aims to provide a map of priority problems in zakat management and priority solutions that can be given to zakat management in Lumajang Regency. The method to find the priority scale used in this study is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) involving four expert informants in the field of zakat. The results of the study reveal that the priority problems and solutions for zakat management in Lumajang Regency are three aspects, namely OPZ, Muzaki/Mustahik, and regulatory aspects. The most priority problem is from the OPZ aspect with a priority value of 0.638425 and the priority solution is also occupied by the OPZ cluster with a priority score of 0.581459
Liability Driven Investment Analysis for Hajj Financial Management Optimization using Analytic Network Process Approach
In this research, a liability-driven investment strategy is determined which aims to optimize hajj financial management using the Analytic Network Process approach. Based on the results of Benefit, Opportunity, Cost and Risk (BOCR) approach, it shows that in a liability-driven investment strategy, the benefit (excess) and risk components are the most important factors that investors pay attention to. In determining alternative liability-based investment strategies, there are 2 (two) approaches, either by carrying out portfolio immunization (duration matching) or cash flow matching (cash-flow matching). From these two strategies, it was found that the portfolio immunization strategy was the most suitable strategy to be implemented at BPKH in terms of the return and risk dimensions. Then the strategy is implemented through a portfolio-mix combinations between hedging portfolios and growth portfolios (return generating portfolios), and the most appropriate composition based on the dimensions of returns and risks is the hedging portfolio whose magnitude is above the growth portfolio. It can be said that BPKH can carry out a liability-driven investment strategy through a portfolio immunization strategy that contains a hedging portfolio (such as SBSN and corporate sukuk) that is larger than the growth portfolio (such as KIK EBAS, EBAS-SP, KIK DINFRA, KIK DIRE, Limited Investment Mutual Funds, and Direct Investment and Others).
Originality/Value: The novelty of this study is analysing the hajj fund by BPKH in a deeper and specific extent by displaying future liability data

What Drives the Impact of Corporate Governance on Firm Value? Evidence from Earnings Management at Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI)
Purpose: This study sought empirical evidence on the impact of corporate governance as proxied by the board of commissioner\u27s size, managerial ownership, and audit quality on firm value using earnings management as an intervening variable in energy sector companies indexed by the ISSI and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2022.
Methodology: This study uses purposive sampling technique and panel data, resulting in 171 selected sample data units that will be processed using eviews.
Findings: Managerial ownership, audit quality, and earnings management all have a significant and beneficial impact on firm value. However, the board of commissioners has a negative impact. Aside from that, the board of commissioners\u27s size and managerial ownership do not affect earnings management, but audit quality has a negative effect. Earnings management as an intervening variable influences corporate governance variables.
Novelty: This research attempts to provide a novel viewpoint on how political instability in a country can affect the investment climate in the Indonesian energy sector, which has received little attention previously. This study also acknowledges the inconsistency of previous research findings regarding the relationship between corporate governance and firm value, paving the way for incorporating earnings management variables as mediators and ultimately contributing to our understanding of the complex dynamics between these elements

Demand Theory of Sharia Micro Economic Perspective
The purpose of writing this article is to find out about the theory of demand in sharia microeconomics and what is related to the discussion of the theory of microeconomic demand. Economics is a human act as a consumer to fulfill needs and desires or make various requests for various goods and services in everyday life. Islamic economics itself is never separated from moral and religious values because every activity is always associated with the Shari\u27a. Islamic economics is the knowledge and application of sharia law to prevent injustice in the use and disposal of material resources with the aim of providing human satisfaction and carrying out these activities as an obligation to Allah and society. The Qur\u27an calls the economy the term istishad (saving, economy) which literally means "middle" or "moderate". Therefore, as Muslims we must take a moderate stance in acquiring and using resources. A Muslim is not allowed to be stingy (royal, exaggerating) nor is he allowed to be stingy (bakhl). The view of Islamic economics regarding demand is almost the same as conventional economics, but there are limitations for individuals to behave economically in accordance with sharia rules. In Islamic economics, "Islamic" norms and morals, which are Islamic principles in economics, are a determining factor for an individual or society in carrying out their economic activities. Therefore, Islamic economic theory is different from conventional economic theor
