Islamic Social Fund (Zakah Infaq Shodaqoh), Inflation, and Poverty Alleviation in Surabaya City
This study analyzes the poverty rate in Surabaya in 2016-2020 which is supported by Islamic financial instruments and macroeconomic instruments. This study aims to examine the effect of receipt ZIS funds and inflation on the poverty rate in Surabaya in 2016-2020. This study used quantitative approach with multiple linear regression tests which were processed using the Eviews 10 program. The data used is time series data with the period of this study from January 2016 to December 2020. The data source was obtained from the East Java National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and the Central Statistics (BPS) Surabaya City. The results of this study are indicating that the ZIS variable has a significant effect with a probability value of 0.0000 and has a negative direction with a coefficient value of -0.212219. This explains that the receipt of ZIS funds at BAZNAS East Java can reduce the number of poor people from 2016 to 2020. Meanwhile, the inflation variable has no significant effect on poverty with a probability value of 0.8062, and has a negative direction with a coefficient value of -0.006093. This happened because the inflation rate which was still fluctuating had no effect on the poverty rate in Surabaya from 2016 to 2020. Then simultaneously the ZIS variables and inflation together had an effect on the poverty rate in Surabaya in 2016-2020. While the results of the R2 test in this study indicate that the poverty rate in Surabaya is explained by the ZIS variable and inflation of 40.53% and the rest is explained by other variables outside the variables examined in this study
Sharia Financing Online Education: Mudhorobah, Musyarokah and Murobahah Financing
The word financing comes from the word "cost" which means spending funds. While financing in general is the provision of money based on an agreement or agreement between a bank and another party that requires the financed party to return the money after a certain period of time in return or profit sharing. Financing also means trust, meaning that a bank or Islamic financial institution trusts a person or company to carry out the mandate given in the form of providing funds and managing them properly, fairly and accompanied by clear ties and conditions and mutually beneficial to both parties. In Islamic financing, there are several types of financing, including: mudhorobah financing, musyarokah financing, and murobahah financing. Seeing and reviewing the increasingly advanced digital era today, it is through digital and internet that we provide service or understanding. This service has a target to provide education through social media about the differences in financing, financing users, case examples and so on in order to provide understanding for the community in moving economic factors and not forgetting activities related to Islamic law
Musyarakah Financing Contribution to The Profitability Of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI)
Financing products offered by Islamic banks are diverse, but the most popular one is the murabahah contract. However, the desired contract from Islamic banks is the musyarakah financing because it is the mainstay of the Islamic banking industry. The purpose of this research is to examine the contribution of musyarakah financing to the profitability of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). This study used a descriptive and verification method where the processed data were secondary financial reports with musyarakah financing and profitability variables, and Return on Assets (RoA) was used as the indicator. Financial data was taken from financial reports for three years, namely 2019, 2020, and 2021. The data were then processed using SPSS version 23.0 with a simple linear regression analysis method. The results of the study show that the musyarakah financing variable has an effect on the profitability of BSI. In conclusion, musyarakah financing is an ideal product for Islamic banks because it provides the same opportunity for partners to contribute in the form of capital or expertise
Analysis of Trade Openness and Macroeconomic Variables on Foreign Direct Investment in Indonesia for the Period 1980-2022
This study analyzes trade openness and macroeconomic variables on foreign investment in Indonesia. This study uses Indonesian time series data from 1980 to 2022. The data analysis technique uses the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method. Data were analyzed using data stationarity test, optimal lag test, CUSUM test, classical assumption test, cointegration test and ARDL estimation processed with Eviews 10. The results showed that indirect trade openness has a positive and significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the short term and long term. The exchange rate (IDR to USD) has a negative and significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the short and long term. Inflation rate in the short term has a positive and significant effect but in the long term has a negative and insignificant effect on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). GDP has a negative and significant effect in the short term but in the long term has a significant positive effect on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)
Website And Videography Training as An Online Marketing Media on Wisata Edukasi Inspirasi Preneurship Al Mumtaz (WEIPA)
In general, Pesantren are educational institutions that focus on religious knowledge and general knowledge as the focus of learning. But it\u27s different from the Pesantren in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, which implements business education in it. This made the Pesantren the first Pesantren in Yogyakarta based on pre-employment. This is a challenge in itself because in order to market the products in it, various special strategies are needed in an era of intense business competition. In an era that is all internet like now, only with internet, computers and smartphones can be used as a tool to publish promotional activities for Wisata Edukasi Inspirasi Preneurship Al-Mumtaz (WEIPA) products. In making videos on how to make attractive advertisements with just a smartphone and then publishing them on social media, promotional activities can be carried out anywhere and anytime easily. Then create a website, which is about how to use and manage it optimally to support and improve product promotion capabilities. This service has a target of increasing the ability of WEIPA administrators and students in utilizing technology as an efficient medium in driving economic factors and not forgetting religious knowledge as their priority. Strengthening Business Units (Catering, Fashion and Batik Units) Pesantren-Based
This research is a qualitative research and the analysis used is descriptive which aims to optimize the existing business units in Pesantren Al Mumtaz, especially catering, fashion, and batik unit. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The management carried out on each business unit is started with preparations and processes carried out so as to produce the expected outputs for each of these business units. Utilization of organizational resources strats from planning, organizing, arranging staf according to their fields of expertise so that they can professional management, controlled directing and supervision, will ensure the proper functioning of managerial processes.

Decisions of the Young Generation in Using Digital Banking Services: Structural Equation Modeling Analysis
This study aims to create a new research model with a variety of variables to comprehend and forecast the key factors that influence young people\u27s decisions to use digital banking. This study uses a quantitative method with a multivariate analysis approach, for this reason, the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique is used. According to the findings of this study, respondents\u27 perceptions of the quality of digital banking products such as mobile banking, SMS banking, phone banking, and internet banking do not influence them to continue using digital banking. Adopsi Payment Gateaway Syariah: Peran Pengetahuan Riba Sebagai Moderasi
ABSTRACT
Research Aims: This research aims to determine the adoption of Sharia Fintech services in the field of payment gateways using the UTAUT model with modifications to add knowledge of riba as a moderation variable.
Design/methodology/approach: This research used an online survey method. The population this research are all users of Sharia payment gateway services. The sampling using the purposive sampling method with a total sample of 116 respondents. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS using Smart PLS 3.3.3 software.
Research Findings: The results of this research presented that Social Influence and Facilitating Condition have an effect in determining interest in using Sharia payment gateway services. Performance expectancy and effort expectancy have no effect on the interest in using Sharia payment gateway services. Meanwhile, in this research only in Effort Expectancy moderated by Knowledge About Riba
Introduction of Takaful (Islamic Insurance) as a Potential Business Model in Indian Market
Globalization has prompted many companies to invest in foreign markets, as a result of which many countries are implementing business models that appeal to investors. Takaful is one type of Islamic insurance system that has proved to be highly popular in Muslim nations. Many individuals who intend to start a new venture will benefit from this type of business model, which has also gained popularity in non-Muslim nations. This paper will analyze the suitability of Takaful to be introduced as a business model in India. This study adopts a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative analysis using surveys and interviews. The number of respondents selected was 50 for quantitative analysis with the target participants being people of India through social media and LinkedIn. Apart from that, for Qualitative analysis employees related to insurance companies in Malaysia were selected to assess their points of view of the Indian insurance market. The conclusion reveals that the Indian market is suitable and favorable for the Takaful business model irrespective of religion, people are willing to accept the model. Hence it is recommended that the model be introduced in the Indian market.
Originality/Value: Unlike prior research, which focuses primarily on Muslim nations, this study provides valuable insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders in non-Muslim countries. Our findings underscore the potential viability of Takaful in India, emphasizing its inclusive nature and ability to cater to diverse insurance needs. Overall, this paper offers a fresh perspective on Islamic finance and the adaptation of innovative business models in emerging markets
Relationship between Financial Performance and Ownership Structure on Sustainability Disclosure in SRI-KEHATI Index Firms
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, profitability, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and foreign ownership on the disclosure of sustainability reports.
Methodology: This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data analysis. The sample selection used a purposive sampling technique and obtained 15 samples of companies listed in the SRI-KEHATI index from 2017-2021.
Findings: The study results show that profitability, liquidity, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership do not affect the disclosure of sustainability reports. Foreign ownership has a negative effect on the disclosure of sustainability reports.
Novelty: The novelty of this study is the research focus which analyzes the completeness of disclosing sustainability reports from companies with ESG principles, namely companies listed on the SRI-KEHATI index. In addition, the focus of the independent variables used is financial performance, which is proxied by profitability and liquidity, and ownership structure, which is proxied by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and foreign ownership
