Results of university open lectures verification conducted in the field via online: Case studies in San'in Kaigan Geopark, Japan
Get PDFIn 2021, the authors conducted university open lectures on earth science using the Internet in the San'in Kaigan Geopark and the southern part of the Tajima region, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Questionnaire surveys were conducted to evaluate the implementation of the online public lectures. The results showed that no fundamental problems were found in the delivery of the online lectures, since a field survey was conducted in advance to check the service area of public Wi-Fi services. However, in some lectures, transmission of audio and images to participants was not sufficient. In addition, distribution of course materials were requested by participants.
