    Enterprise Architecture Planning in Hydroponic Cultivation Business Units Using TOGAF ADM

    Businesses in the field of hydroponics also require better management of information systems in the digitalera so they can take advantage of regular supply, targeted marketing, and gain new customers. Informationsystems are made into a necessity in the management of organizations or companies to facilitate the entireproduction, distribution and management of the company. Puji Hydroponics is a business unit in TangerangRegency that is engaged in agriculture, especially in producing vegetables using hydroponic techniques. Theproblem faced by Puji Hydroponics is that until now Puji Hydroponics does not have a formal planningstrategy. The formulation and management of strategies is ad hoc to the extent of certain needs andconditions. The impact that arises if there is no strategic planning of information systems or a maturecorporate architecture is the lack of services provided to customers. This study aims to make a corporatearchitectural plan for the hydroponic cultivation business unit at Puji Hydroponics using TOGAF ADM. Theresults of this study are business blueprint planning, application architecture, architectural data, architecturaltechnology that can be a reference for other hydroponic cultivation business units in planning enterprisearchitecture for optimization and business growth in the long term

    Forecasting Demand of Moving Average and Linier Regression Methods in Predicting the Production of K93 Disc Brake Product (Case Study of PT United Steel Center Indonesia)

    PT United Steel Center Indonesia is a manufacturing company engaged in the steel plate industry. Thecompany produces various kinds of steel plate products and has various plants, one of which is the DiscBrake K93 product. The Disc Brake K93 product is a part request from the largest customer which oftenexperiences significant changes, resulting in fluctuations and causing inventory to accumulate in thewarehouse. Inventories that accumulate can cause losses for the company, due to improper waste accordingto planning, even less inventory can cause losses for the company because it can experience delays indelivery to customers. Forecasting is one method in planning to predict and help draw conclusions.Moving Average and Linier Regression methods are used in this study, and an analysis of the level ofaccuracy is carried out using the concistency of MAD, MSE, and MAPE as well as forecasting validationwith Tracking Signal. Based on the results of processing and analysis, it is found that the linear regressionmethod is the most accurate method in predicting Disc Brake K93 products for the 2022 period with anincrease in production each month, the MAD value is 15242.23, MSE is 371649700, MAPE is 0.201, andthe Tracking Signal is 0

    Designing Improvements to the Product Attributes of Sling Bags Based on Consumer Preferences Using the Conjoint Analysis Method

    The Covid-19 pandemic, which ended in early 2023, has increased people's needs and provided newopportunities for businesses in the clothing/fashion sector. The object of this research is a company thatoffers various bag products such as backpacks, sling bags, hand bags and others. However, one of thecompany's product categories, namely sling bags, experienced a decline in sales during 2022. Thecompetition of companies engaged in clothing/fashion makes the company have to maintain its business.The purpose of this research is to design improvements to sling bag product attributes based on consumerpreferences. The Conjoint Analysis method is used to determine consumer preferences for sling bag productattributes so as to improve purchasing decisions and retain company customers. The number of samples usedwas 93 respondents with the majority of students aged 18-35 years. The final results of the study are themost important attributes and attribute level utility values, namely neutral color attributes (black, gray,white), price attributes IDR 80,000-Rp160,000, small size attributes 2.3 L (24 x 16 x 6 cm), canvas materialattributes, hobo bag model attributes, and feature attributes, namely 3-4 partitions, waterproof, andpermanent straps. The results of the study can be used to provide an overview of the company's consumerpreferences in sling bag products and can be a consideration for companies in releasing new products

    Recommendations to Reduce Cybersickness in Virtual Reality Based on User’s Personality and Eye Health

    The use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology is closely related to Cybersickness (CS), namely a feeling ofdizziness that arises due to differences in perception between what is felt and seen. Other research showthat personality and eye health can affect a person's perception thus affecting the level of CS felt. The studyaims to identify the relationship between personality and eye health on CS and make recommendations toreduce for gaming industries. The research was conducted with within-subject experimental design with twovariables, personality and eye health. The initial study made an experimental design which was followed bya pilot study to determine the minimum sample size for the study and improvements to the experiment.Furthermore, participant data was collected in the form of personality, eye health, completion time, andVirtual Reality Sickness Questionnaire (VRSQ) score. Data was collected from 36 participants and thenprocessed statistically. The data were tested for classical assumptions and searched for their relationship withthe two-way ANOVA. After knowing the existence of a relationship, a Post-hoc Test (Tukey's Test) wasconducted to find the most significant group. The results shows that there was a significant relationshipbetween personality and eye health on CS (P-Value < 0.05), where participants with introvert personalityand abnormal eye conditions are more vulnerable. From the results of the study, it is recommended thatsettings be made to reduce screen shakes, limit playing time, choose the right game, and do oculomotorexercises before playing

    Determination of Maintenance Planning Strategy On Pulverizer Boiler Machine Using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II Method (Case Study: PT. TJB Power Services)

    Continuous production causes machines to work without stopping which results in the risk of decreasingmachine productivity at PT. TJB Power Services. The company is an Operation and Maintenance companyfor PLTU Tanjung Jati B Units 1 and 2. In 2018, the level of Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF) Unit 1was 89.45% and Unit 2 was 93.76%, which was originally targeted at 100%. Meanwhile, in 2019 Unit 1increased to 95.60% and Unit 2 decreased to 88.12%. In general, the production process starts fromgrinding coal, which is used for fuel heating water into dry steam, which is flowing into a turbine to drive agenerator that produces electricity. Therefore, research was carried out in the pulverizer unit 2 because ithas decreased its availability and is a critical machine in the production process that will affect overallproductivity. Based on the RCM II analysis at the FMEA stage, the highest RPN value was obtained forcoal pipe and pyrite equipment. After analyzing with the Fishbone diagram, it is found that the root causesof failure include primary air and outside air containing seawater content and not coated with anti-rustresulting in corrosion, accumulating foreign objects that are not filtered in the silo and lack of maintenance.From the results of the analysis of these problems, it was found that the proposed improvements weremade in the form of the RCM II Decision Worksheet

    Health Belief Model and Individualist-Collective Culture on Compliance with Health Protocols

    The COVID-19 pandemic has spread amost all over the world including Indonesia since March 2020,causing many people got infected. Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) was enforced, whereas activitiesoutside the home were restricted. After the PSBB period is revoked, people can do actvities outside the homewhile still adhering to health protocols. Compliance with health protocols cannot be separated from publicperceptions of health, namely Health Belief Model. In addition, culture also plays a role in determining one’sbehaviour. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the health belief model and collectiveculture with health protocol compliance. The research method used was a quantitative research method withcorrelation analysis techniques. The number of respondents in this study was 408 people, with age range of20-39 years old and live in Jakarta. The results of the study found that perceivd susceptibiliy, perceivedseverity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, cues to action, self-efficacy had a relationship with healthprotocol compliance and the most significant correlation was perceived susceptibility. The results alsorevealed that horizontal individualism, vertical individualism, horizontal collective, vertical collective had arelationship ith health protocol compliance ant the most significant relationship is horizontal collective andvertical collective. This research concluded the more someone feels vulnerable being exposed to COVIDand the collective culture that adheres health protocols in the group, the higher compliance

    Analysis of the Causes of Defect and Proposed Improvements with Fault Tree Analysis Method in the Drawing Process at PT. XYZ

    PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces various types of metal-based products with a make toorder system. One of them is the Back Top Plate 450/456 (BTP 450/456) part which is a component ofrefrigerators. In the period of February-November 2020, PT. XYZ produces 15,395 units of BTP 450/456.However, BTP 450/456 products have the highest percentage of defective products. The average percentageof defective products is 3.06%, while the tolerance for the number of defects determined by the company is1%. This indicates a problem in the production process. The most types of defects in the production processof 450/456 are broken with a percentage of 41.88%. Based on Critical to Quality, the process stages that donot meet the requirements in the drawing process can cause various types of defects, such as wrinkles, breaks,miss-sizing, process failures, scratch and dents. The Fault Tree Analysis method is used to identify the rootcause of the type of broken defect. The root of these problems includes the absence of a guide for settingdies, the machine being operated for a long time, operator negligence, and the incorrect position of theplastic. The proposed improvement given are determining the optimal engine pressure, designing dies settingguides for operators, evaluating and improving the maintenance process, analyzing new machinerequirements, supervisors giving good directions to operators, periodic work evaluations to assess operatorperformance, designing visual displays as reminders for operators, and designing aids for positioning plasticson materials

    Development of Distribution Center Leu Mart Karawang with Feasibility Analysis, SWOT, STP, IFE EFE IE and Marketing Mix 9P

    MSMEs are Indonesia's largest financial access by contributing 60.34% of GDP (Gross Domestic Product).Seeing the very high number of markets with needs that must be met, the Leu Mart Karawang DistributionCanter (DC) was formed to bridge by cutting the distribution process from direct suppliers to small andmedium businesses, both large and small stores, MSMEs, and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES). DCLeu Mart Karawang is the first modern market in Karawang that helps increase MSMEs by simplifying thedistribution process for basic food products and daily necessities based on websites and Androidapplications. To support competition and market opportunities, a study was conducted using SWOTanalysis, STP (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning), IFE EFE analysis and Marketing Mix 9P accompaniedby a competition analysis of market opportunities, operations, finance, marketing and human resources.The results of this study explain that DC Leu Mart Karawang is very feasible and has good long-termprospects to run. Besides being stated by the results of the analysis, DC Leu Mart Karawang has also beenrunning for approximately 8 months with an increasing trendline every month. This is supported by aReturn on Investment (ROI) of 43.5% and a Payback Period of 2 years and 1 month. The investmentfeasibility results in an NPV of Rp. 7,001,220,721, IRR 51% Net B/C 6.77 and PI 2.16

    Method of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) as an Analysis of Raw Material Inventory Control at PT Metalindo Main Engineering

    PT Metalindo Teknik Utama is a company engaged in Manufacturing (body of a car). So far, in managingraw material inventories, the company used simple method with buy raw material if the inventory is out ofstock. The use of this method resulted in the cost of managing the raw materials incurred is still relativelyexpensive. This study aims to analyze the cost of inventory management based on the Economic OrderQuantity method and compare the costs of inventory management implemented by the company in 2020.The data is taken based on the company's annual financial statements prepared in 2020. The data isanalyzed using the EOQ formula. Results of the research in the form off O2, the number of economicalorders according to EOQ is 141 tube with a raw material inventory cost of Rp. 6,771,277 while accordingto the company's method of Rp. 25,542,451 then obtained savings or a difference of Rp. 18,771,174. InCO2 the number of economical orders according to EOQ is 130 tube with a raw material inventory cost ofRp. 6,770.777, while according to the company's method it is Rp. 23,601,184 then the savings ordifference is Rp. 16,830.407. For LPG, the number of economical orders according to EOQ is 31 tubeswith a raw material inventory cost of Rp. 1,447,350 while according to the company's method it is Rp.4,631,372 then the savings or difference is Rp. 3,184,022

    Optimization of Component Transportation Costs with Narrow Service Time Window and Heterogenous Vehicle Capacity

    Transportation costs are one of the largest cost components in distribution activities.Transportation costs can be reduced by improving distribution routes. The aims of this articleare to minimize transportation costs by determining vehicle assignments and routing forheterogeneous vehicles. The constrains that considered are the number and capacity of thevehicle, fuel consumption, service time at the company and at customers plant. Totaltransportation costs are considered as vehicle fixed costs, fuel costs, and material handling costs.CVRPTW is applied to the problem of assigning and determining vehicle routes of plasticcomponent companies that supply plastic components for various manufacturing companies inthe Greater Jakarta area. CVRPTW can reduce transportation costs in the company while stillmeet all applicable constraints. CVRPTW reduced the number of vehicles used from theprevious 6 vehicles to 5 vehicles. Total transportation costs for all shipping routes are Rp.4,563,620. This cost is lower than the company costs of Rp. 4,694,100, this routing problemreduces transportation costs by 8% of the initial cost
