Teacher's Ability to Develop Learning Materials Potentially Mathematical Discourse
Get PDFIn the process of learning in the field, the teacher still dominates the conversation while the students as a passive listener. As a result, not only the communication skills of students who are less developed, the understanding of student material is also lacking. Therefore it is necessary to research the ability of teachers in developing learning tools potentially mathematical discourse to improve students' mathematical communication skills. The research method used is descriptive. Research activities include: identification of problems through questionnaires, observation, and interviews; teacher training; teachers develop learning tools; validation; and enhancement of the device by the teacher. The subject of this research is the junior high school mathematics teacher from several districts in the border area of Sambas-Sarawak Regency. The results show that in every learning mathematics there is always a conversation between teachers and students, but rarely use the question "why" and "how". Most teacher-made lesson plans contain scenarios of conversations between teachers and students, but just plain questioning, have not led to a debate between each other so that understanding becomes deeper. Student worksheet made by the teacher in the form of a matter of the ordinary story, rarely load non-routine problem let alone open-ended

Get PDFKemampuan berpikirkritismatematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Soe rendah. Upaya peningkatannya diterapkan model PjBL berpendekatan saintifik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kedua kelas sampelberdasarkan kategori kemampuan awal yaitu kategori atas, menengahdan bawah.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatifmodelquasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas yang diajarkan model PjBL berpendekatan saintifik lebih baik dari siswa yang diajarkan tanpa model tersebut pada ketiga kategori yaitu kategori atas, menengah dan bawah. Perbedaan yang paling tinggi terdapat pada kategori bawah sehingga model PjBL berpendekatan saintifik paling efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk siswa pada kategori kemampuan awal yang rendah.
Influence of Profitability, Investment Opportunity Set (Ios) Leverage and Dividend Policy on Firm Value in The L Service in Indonesia Stock Exchange
Get PDFThis research was aimed to analyze the significant influence of profitability, investment opportunity set (ios), leverage and dividend policy partially or simultaneously on firm value. The sample used in this research was Industrial Services in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013 to 2015 as many as 28 companies taken by using purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing of research using multiple linear regression analysis by SPSS 21 for windows programs. This research found that: (1) profitability has significant influence partially on firm value; (2) investment opportunity set (ios) has significant influence partially on firm value; (3) leverage has no significant influence partially on firm value; (3) the dividend policy has no significant influence partially on firm value; (5) profitability, investment opportunity set (ios), leverage and dividend policy have significant influence simultaneously on firm value with influence value of 46.7%

The method used is an associative method, the data collection technique of distributing questionnaires to the respondents to explore related information about the factors that affect customers save on BSM KC Singkawang. This research resulted in the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0443 which means that the variable products, services, revenue sharing and religiosity can explain the customer's decision in BSM KC Singkawang saving of 44.3%. While the remaining 55.7% is influenced by other factors not included in this research model
Implementation of Project Based Learning Model with Windows Movie Maker Media in Improvement of Short Story Writing
Get PDFThis research is motivated by the lack of ability of students in writing short stories. This research apply project based learning model with windows movie maker media. The formulation of the problem is "Whether the application of project based learning model with windows movie maker media can improve the ability to write short stories of students." In accordance with the formulation of the problem, the hypothesis of this research is the application of project based learning model with windows movie maker media can improve writing skills Short stories of students greater than or equal to 75. This study is based on the Kemmis and Taggart self-reflection model that lasts for 2 cycles. Based on the observer's observation, teacher activity in learning has increased at every meeting and cycle, starting from cycle I teachers get the average value of 82,5. In the second cycle get an average value of 97.5. Similarly, student activity on cycles 1 obtained an average of 75, and in the last 2 cycles the average score was 95. The results of the questionnaire generally showed that students responded positively to the short story writing model using project based learning and media windows movie maker . Implementation of Project Based Learning model with Windows Movie Maker Media can improve students' writing skill. It is shown by the average value of pretes of 42.4 increased in cycle I with an average of 78, then increased again in cycle II with an average of 85.4. Hypothesis test results in this study obtained t count equal to 6.992. Meanwhile, with the degree of freedom 19 at the level of significance 0.05 (5%) obtained t table value of 1.729. So t count> t table is 6.992> 1.729 so H0

Pembuatan Semak (Semprotan Anti Keruh) Sebagai Alternatif Lapisan Pencegah Kekeruhan Pada Kacamata
Get PDFPengguna kacamata sering mengalami gangguan pandangan saat terjadi perbedaan suhu udara di kedua sisi kacamata. Perbedaaan suhu tersebut membuat uap air yang berada disekitarnya mengalami kondensasi menjadi titik-titik air kecil yang tersebar di permukaan kaca sehingga menyebabkan berkurangnya transmisi cahaya (keruh). Untuk menghasilkan lapisan pencegah kekeruhan pada kaca, dibuat suatu larutan Semak (semprotan anti keruh) yang bersifat hidrofilik sehingga memungkinkan uap air menyebar merata ke seluruh permukaan daripada pembentukan titik-titik air kecil. Larutan Semak dibuat dari campuran isopropanol, surfaktan non-ionik jenis NP-10 dan anionik jenis Emal 270E dengan berbagai variasi komposisi. Untuk menentukan komposisi terbaik, dilakukan uji sifat anti keruh dan pengukuran sudut kontak. Data hasil uji sifat anti keruh dianalis secara kualitatif berdasarkan keruh atau tidaknya permukaan kaca, sedangkan data hasil pengukuran sudut kontak dibandingkan dengan teori sudut kontak untuk permukaan hidrofilik. Larutan Semak terbaik didapatkan dengan komposisi campuran surfaktan 3,85%, isopropanol 19,23%, dan aquades 76,92% yang mampu bertahan pada permukaan kaca selama 7 hari. Pengukuran sudut kontak permukaan kaca dengan lapisan Semak dihasilkan 14,462° yang menunjukkan bahwa permukaan bersifat hidrofilik
