    The purpose of this essay is to explore and apply the wealth of the Balanced Scorecard framework in the management of credit unions. The effectiveness of this framework has contributed greatly to the business world. The cross functional paradigm in the Balanced Scorecard concept enables stakeholders to review various business activities in a holistic manner. A qualitative approach is used to explore concepts and their applications in business. This study offers a roadmap for credit unions to implement the Balanced Scorecard framework in the context of performance management

    THE ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS AND SELF-EFFICACY OG HIGH STUDENTS BUILT THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING AND DISCOVERY LEARNING

    This research implements Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning model  to analysis the increase of mathematical creative thinking skills, mistakes in the process of mathematical creative thinking, and self-efficacy of high school students  in Tasikmalaya.  The research  method  used is descriptive,  data collection  techniques  through  creative thinking ability tests and questionnaires mathematics self-efficacy. The instruments were previously assessed by experts in mathematics education. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that the mathematical creative thinking abilities of students through Problem Based Learning is increasing compared to the mathematical creative thinking abilities of students through Discovery Learning. Mistakes students of mathematical creative thinking processes in Problem Based Learning, generally on flexibility and originality indicators. While at Discovery Learning, mistakes students of mathematical creative thinking processes is generally on sensitivity, flexibility and originality indicators. Flexibility is solving the problem with a variety of different ways, but the result is the same, and originality is to solve the problem in its own way does not use a standard formula. Sensitivity is the ability to detect problems. Self-efficacy of students in Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning are both at high qualifications

    Pengaruh Keterampilan Guru dalam Mengelola Kelas terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik di Sekolah Dasar

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hal-hal yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan satu hal yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar adalah Keterampilan Guru dalam Mengelola Kelas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan explanatory survey. Populasi penelitian ini sebesar 50 siswa dan sampelnya merupakan seluruh peserta didik kelas III dan kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 7 Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas hasil uji coba instrument dilakukan dengan analisis faktor. Hasil analisis deskriptif menggambarkan bahwa data hasil belajar peserta didik terbesar ada pada kategori baik (92%) dan data keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas terbesar ada pada kategori baik (85,05%). Hasil analisis regresi ganda menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas terhadap  hasil belajar peserta didik

    Balinese culture places women as subordinate because there is a misconception of the concept of purusa and pradana. Indeed purusa and pradana exist in every man including also in women. Purusa is the soul and pradana is the body.Basically, gender issues are not just about the problems of male and female relationships, but also with the issue of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gender differences (purusa and pradana) on the metacognitive skills of grade 5 primary school students. The survey design used was cross sectional survey design, the researchers collected data at a single point of time. The data collected were metacognitive skill data of grade 5 primary school students. Based on the results of empirical analysis, there is no significant difference between men and women on metacognitive skills with sig 0.672> 0.05. Metacognitive, especially skill is not something to be gained but needs to be trained in learning both in school, family and society. This means that to form students who have high metacognitive skills need cooperation between the school as a formal executive education with school committees (parents of students) by utilizing various sources that exist in the student environment are located

    Empowerment is the giving of strength to individuals or groups to be more empowered than before and has a responsibility in exercising the authority entrusted to them. Therefore, empowerment is essential for an institution as a form of enormous internal power contributing to the institution. With the empowerment, institutions are increasingly responsive to change, renewal science, and technology, especially in the field of education which continues to grow following the demands of the times. This research focuses on empowering education personnel in managing facilities and infrastructure at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty. The focus of this study is "How is the empowerment of educational staff in managing facilities and infrastructure at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty?". Based on the focus of the research, the research problems are detailed as follows: 1. What is the planning of empowering education personnel in managing facilities and infrastructure? 2. How is the implementation of the empowerment of education staff in managing facilities and infrastructure?. 3 What are the steps taken by the faculty leaders in empowering education personnel? 4. How is the evaluation of the empowerment of education personnel in managing facilities and infrastructure? 5. What are the factors that support and inhibit empowering communities against the revitalization of education?This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection tools used were interviews, observation and documentation guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it was found that empowerment planning was carried out by a team that had been formed to create a program based on the faculty's vision and mission. In implementing the empowerment of education staff the leaders coordinated, but on the other hand,  the methods used to optimize work were still conventional. Evaluation of the empowerment of education personnel is carried out still by manual process, including the reporting system: The supporting factors include; Availability of internet access and utilization of technology for monitoring. Openness in planning to evaluation. The participation of all faculties in ensuring the optimization of education staff. Dedication and totality of education staff, especially team who have been assigned for more than five years in FKIP. While the inhibiting factors include: The flow of institutional planning and organization at the university which is considered too long (less simple), most monitoring and evaluation systems still use manuals, but online (modern) reporting and evaluation systems are being prepared. Central government policies related to the procurement of facilities and infrastructure that must be submitted a maximum of two years earlier. All activities need to be planned with good predictions so that challenges for HR (Human Resources) planning. The absence of performance monitoring technology, such as CCTV as a support tool for staff control in managing facilities and infrastructure

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa, dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi perbandingan kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Singkawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Singkawang yang terdiri dari lima kelas yang berjumlah 160 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Adapun sampel yang dipilih terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIE sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIC sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil pengaruh model PBL dengan pendekatan Saintifik  menunjukkan: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah  matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik; dengan rata-rata hasil posttest kelas ekperimen yaitu 81,34 2) Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan; dengan hasil uji effect size sebesar 3,5  3) Motivasi belajar siswa tergolong tinggi dengan diterapkannya model Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik dengan rata-rata keseluruhan siswa adalah 4,16

    Improving Speaking Skills through Cooperative Learning Model Talking Stick Type on Students of Class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Singkawang School Year 2015/2016

    This research is motivated by low speech skills, this is due to low student interest and lack of confidence in students and has difficulty in playing the drama. This research is focused on the material to play the drama through Cooperative Type Talking Stick Learning Model. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and results of the Drama through Cooperative Learning Model Type Talking Stick. The formulation of this research problem is how the planning, how the implementation, and how the results of learning activities play the drama through Cooperative Type Talking Stick Learning Model. the method used in this research is descriptive with the form of qualitative and quantitative research. The implementation procedure of this research consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research design in the form of Class Action Research. Planning in cycle 1 is good with percentage equal to 74,11% whereas planning in cycle 2 with percentage 80%. Implementation in cycle 1 first meeting is good with percentage equal to 71,81% while implementation in cycle 1 second meeting equal to 72,17%. The percentage achieved in cycle 1 overall was 74.54%. Implementation in cycle 2 first meeting Very good with percentage 85.45%, the percentage achieved in cycle 2 second meeting very good with percentage 87,27%. Percentage achieved in cycle 2 overall by 86,36%. Research Result Action Class at cycle 1 with average score reach 69,01 and percentage mastery learn student equal to 53,33%, themean value in cycle 2 increased become 71,41 with student mastery percentage equal to 83,33%. Based on this research, it can be concluded that speaking skill in playing drama through Cooperative Learning Model Talking Stick Type is good, it is suggested to teachers especially Indonesian teachers using Cooperative Learning Model Talking Stick Type improves speaking skill especially on play plays material

    EFFECTIVENESS OF CLASSROOM ACTION RESEARCH TRAINING FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE CAPABILITY AND PROFESSIONALISM OF TEACHER AT SDN 04 IX KORONG SOLOK CITY

    Training of Classroom Action Research is an effort to increase the understanding and skills of teachers in preparing the research proposal, conducting research, as well as a research report. This training is subject teachers at SDN 04 IX Korong totaling 19 people. The training was conducted by the lecture method which collaborated with guided exercises. The use of this method is effective to increase the interest of teachers in writing, because every teacher guided continuous and programmed. This training provides a positive impact for teachers at SDN 04 Korong IX. It is seen from the 19 teachers who attended the training, there are 11 teachers who successfully complete the Class Action Research to stage the final report. It shows that 57.9% of teachers at SDN 04 IX Korong able to do research and have a high enough motivation to produce the scientific work. So based on this study, it can be concluded that the training of classroom action research which is continuous and effective programmed to build capabilities and professionalism of teachers
