Profil Kemampuan Numerasi Siswa Ditinjau dari Self-Confidence
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kecakapan numerasi matematis siswa dikaji dari tingkat self-confidence. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan interview semi-terstruktur, tes, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VII berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil pengisian kuisioner self-confidence, subjek dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori self-confidence rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Tiap-tiap kategori diambil satu siswa sebagai responden dengan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan self-confidence tinggi dapat mengerjakan soal numerasi dengan strategi yang efektif, lengkap, dan percaya diri. Siswa dengan self-confidence sedang cenderung ragu dalam mengambil keputusan saat menghadapi soal yang lebih kompleks yang berakibat kurang yakin menggunakan konsep. Siswa self-confidence rendah menunjukkan kecenderungan menghindar dan kurang yakin terhadap kemampuannya sendiri. Siswa kategori rendah tidak mampu menemukan konsep dan menerapkannya dalam masalah. Self-confidence terbukti memengaruhi pemahaman, keberanian mencoba, dan konsistensi strategi penyelesaian soal numerasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendukung penguatan self-confidence siswa dalam belajar matematika.Kata Kunci: Matematika; Numerasi; Self-ConfidenceProfile of Students' Numeracy Skills Reviewed from Self-ConfidenceABSTRACTFrom the standpoint of self-assurance, this research sought to evaluate students' mathematical numeracy abilities. The data collection methods employed in this descriptive qualitative study included documentation, tests, and semi-structured interviews. Thirty-seventh-grade pupils made up the study group. After completing the self-assurance questionnaire, the participants were classified into high, medium, and low self-assurance levels. Each category was taken by one student as a respondent with purposive sampling. Data analysis involved the processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that students with high self-assurance may employ successful, comprehensive, and assured tactics to numerical challenges. Students who have a moderate amount of self-assurance were often hesitant to make choices when faced with more complex problems, that result in less confidence in using concepts. Students with low self-confidence showed a tendency to avoid and lack confidence in their own abilities. Low-category students were not able to find concepts and apply them to problems. Self-confidence has been shown to affect understanding, courage to try, and consistency in numeracy problem-solving strategies. The implications of this study show the importance of a learning approach that supports strengthening students' confidence in learning mathematics
Profile of Students' Creative Thinking Skills on Newton's Laws
This study aims to provide a profile overview of the students' creative thinking skills on Newton's Laws. The research used was a descriptive quantitative method. The research was conducted on grade VIII students at one of the State Junior High Schools in Singkawang City. The subjects in this study were selected by purposive sampling totaling 36 students. The research data was collected using a creative thinking skills test totaling 8 essay questions. Data were analysed using descriptive percentages. The results of the study showed that (1) students who were at a medium level of creative thinking were 81%, students who were at a low level of creative thinking skills were 19%; (2) the percentage results of creative thinking skills per indicator, namely fluency 69.17%, flexibility 57.92%, originality 37.50%, and elaboration 50.83%. Thus, it can be concluded that students' creative thinking skills were still low
PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA DIORAMA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA
Kemampuan literasi dan motivasi belajar merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dikembangkan pada siswa sekolah dasar dalam menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Namun, kenyataannya pembelajaran di sekolah dasar masih didominasi metode ceramah yang bersifat satu arah, kurang kontekstual, serta minim pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya literasi dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 3 Linggasari melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan media diorama pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 18 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes kemampuan literasi, angket motivasi belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik untuk menjaga keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan media diorama mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa secara signifikan, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 66% pada siklus I menjadi 83% pada siklus III, dengan seluruh siswa mencapai nilai di atas KKTP. Selain itu, motivasi belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 68% menjadi 82%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis penemuan yang didukung media konkret dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan bermakna. A Systematic Literature Review on Self-Efficacy, Entrepreneurial Motivation, and Field Experience as Predictors of Entrepreneurial Interest Among Students
This systematic literature review addresses the gap in understanding how self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, and field experience influence students' entrepreneurship interest through entrepreneurial attitudes. Despite growing attention to student entrepreneurship, limited comprehensive analysis exists on these key predictors and their integration in educational contexts. Following PRISMA protocol, we systematically searched Scopus database for articles published between 2015-2025. Using predetermined keywords combining self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, field experience, and entrepreneurial intention among students, we identified 482 articles. After rigorous screening applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 74 articles were selected for comprehensive analysis (15.4% inclusion rate). Data extraction covered bibliographic information, study characteristics, theoretical frameworks, variables, and key findings. Analysis revealed significant temporal growth from 2 articles (2015) to 16 articles (2024), with average 27.92 citations per article and 18.9% high-impact publications (>50 citations). Variable distribution showed entrepreneurial intention dominance (89.2%), followed by entrepreneurial attitude (28.4%) and self-efficacy (23.0%), while entrepreneurial motivation and field experience were critically underexplored (1.4% each). Geographic analysis indicated global context dominance (82.4%) with limited Indonesian research (2.7%). Theoretical framework analysis revealed 91.9% articles lacked explicit theoretical foundation, with Theory of Planned Behavior used in only 5.4% studies. Self-efficacy emerges as the primary psychological predictor supporting Social Cognitive Theory, while entrepreneurial attitude functions as crucial mediator in Theory of Planned Behavior. Critical gaps include absence of integrative models combining all three variables, lack of longitudinal studies (0%), and limited contextual research in Indonesia. These findings provide essential guidance for developing comprehensive entrepreneurship curricula emphasizing self-efficacy development, practical experience integration, and motivation enhancement systems for fostering student entrepreneurship interest
The Reality of Professional Competency of Kindergarten Teachers in Banda Aceh Through the Use of Headmaster’s Academic Supervision
This study aimed to identify academic supervision including planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up process which had been done by the headmaster to improve the professional competency of kindergarten teachers in Banda Aceh. Descriptive qualitative had been used as an approach in this research. Observation, interview, and documentation were used as collecting data techniques. The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualititave with along with data reduction strategies, data visualization, and conclusion drawings. The research's conclusions revealed that: (1) the headmaster plans the academic supervision program to enhance learning and carries it out both inside and outside of the classroom;(2) Academic supervision is implemented in stages, starting with pre-observation, observation, evaluation, and follow-up, or problem-solving; (3)Individual and group evaluations are conducted regarding academic supervision. and (4) The outcomes of academic monitoring are further strengthened and improved, already meeting the requirements for teachers. The chance to attend training or grading is provided, as well as coaching and improvement for supervisory actions that have not yet reached the requisite standards
The Contribution of School Principal Leadership and School Culture to Teacher Performance
Teacher performance plays a crucial role in determining the quality of education. However, many schools continue to face challenges related to suboptimal teacher productivity, which may be influenced by leadership and cultural factors within the school environment. This study aims to examine the contribution of principal leadership and school culture to teacher performance. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. Data were collected from 80 teachers across several schools through structured questionnaires. The variables measured included principal leadership, school culture, and teacher performance. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that both principal leadership and school culture had a strong and positive correlation with teacher performance, with correlation coefficients of 0.684 and 0.701, respectively. Furthermore, the regression analysis indicated that principal leadership and school culture together contributed significantly to teacher performance, with an R² value of 0.581. Among the two, school culture demonstrated a slightly higher influence than leadership. In conclusion, the findings suggest that enhancing both leadership practices and school culture can significantly improve teacher performance. It is recommended that school management prioritize the development of effective leadership strategies and the cultivation of a positive, collaborative school environment to support teacher growth and performance outcome
Evaluation of the implementation of the learning program Design Modeling and Building Information SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis
The rapid development of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry has led to the increasing adoption of Building Information Modeling as a critical skill for future professionals. However, vocational high schools in Indonesia, including SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis, often face challenges in integrating BIM-based learning due to limited resources, conventional teaching approaches, and lack of industry alignment. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Design Modeling and Building Information learning program at SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis by examining three key aspects: planning, implementation, and assessment. The research used a quantitative descriptive method with survey instruments distributed to teachers and students. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and document analysis. The results show that the planning aspect received an average score of 88.8%, categorized as Good, with strengths in lesson planning and curriculum structure. The implementation aspect scored 82%, also Good, though student engagement and use of technology need improvement. The assessment aspect averaged 85%, with competency achievement rated Very Good, yet feedback and follow-up practices remain underdeveloped. In conclusion, the learning program has been generally well implemented, but further enhancement is needed in integrating digital tools, strengthening industry relevance, and promoting student-centered learning. These improvements are crucial for aligning vocational education with evolving AEC industry demand
Analisis Penggunaan Eufemisme dalam Film Buya Hamka Vol.1 dan Vol.2
Language plays an important role as a means of communication and reflection of culture and human thinking. In the development of language, euphemism is a form of language style used to convey meaning in a subtle and polite way so as not to offend feelings. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This method involves collecting library data, reading, and recording relevant data and research materials in the Buya Hamka Vol.1 and Vol.2 films. This research is not tied to a particular place, because this study uses film objects that can be watched via the netflix application, and the time of this research was conducted for one semester. This study uses data in the form of words and sentences in the Buya Hamka Vol.1 and Vol.2 films.The data technique used is the listening and recording technique and documents in the form of images. The listening and recording technique can be done by listening to the Buya Hamka Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 films. The data analysis technique in this study is dialogue between characters to find out the forms of euphemism from the Buya Hamka Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 films. The results of the data found were 25 data in 5 forms of euphemism. This study focuses on the form and meaning of euphemism in the film Buya Hamka Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Basic Movement Training Through Traditional Games For Students In Elementary School
This basic movement training through traditional games at SDN 01 Kamasan, Serang Regency, Banten aims to improve students' gross motor skills through fun activities that are relevant to their culture. Traditional games such as congklak, engklek, ucing-ucingan, and gasing were chosen because they contain basic movements such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching that are important for children's physical development. The training was conducted using demonstration, active participation, and group discussion methods. The observation results showed an increase in students' basic movement skills after attending the training. In addition, students also looked more enthusiastic and motivated in participating in learning activities as much as 85% of students. This training is expected to be an effective and fun alternative in developing students' basic movement skills, while preserving the noble values contained in traditional games.Pelatihan Gerak Dasar Melalui Permainan Tradisional untuk Siswa Sekolah DasarABSTRAKPelatihan gerak dasar melalui permainan tradisional di SDN 01 Kamasan, Kabupaten Serang, Banten ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar siswa melalui aktivitas yang menyenangkan dan relevan dengan budaya mereka. Permainan tradisional seperti congklak, engklek, ucing-ucingan, dan gasing dipilih karena mengandung gerakan-gerakan dasar seperti berlari, melompat, melempar, dan menangkap yang penting bagi perkembangan fisik anak. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode demonstrasi, partisipasi aktif, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan gerak dasar siswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Selain itu, siswa juga terlihat lebih antusias dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran sebanyak 85% Siswa. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dan menyenangkan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan gerak dasar siswa, sekaligus melestarikan nilai-nilai luhur yang terkandung dalam permainan tradisional.Kata Kunci:Gerak dasar; permainan tradisiona
Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Peluang Berbasis Etnomatematika untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas X SMA
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah modul pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika budaya Sumatera Utara yang valid, praktis, dan efektif bagi siswa kelas X di SMA Sinar Husni pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, melibatkan 24 siswa dari kelas X-2. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket respons guru dan siswa, serta tes (pre-test dan post-test). Data yang terkumpul dianalisis untuk menilai validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ini sangat valid, dengan rata-rata skor 80,93%. Selain itu, modul ini juga sangat praktis, terbukti dari angket respons guru (95%) dan siswa (86,14%). Peningkatan efektivitas juga terlihat dari hasil post-test, di mana modul ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan skor 0,7758. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran etnomatematika ini valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas X SMA.Kata Kunci: Modul Pembelajaran; Etnomatematika; Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah SiswaDevelopment of Ethnomathematics-Based Learning Modules on Probability to Improve Problem-Solving Abilities of 10th Grade High School StudentsABSTRACTThis study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective ethnomathematics-based learning module for the 10th grade of Sinar Husni High School for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The study was conducted on 24 students in class X-2 at SMA Sinar Husni. Data was collected through expert validation sheets, response questionnaires from teachers and students, and tests (pre-test and post-test), then analysed using validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis techniques. The results indicated that the module was highly valid, averaging 80.93%. The module was also highly practical, as evidenced by teacher response questionnaires reaching 95% and student response questionnaires at 86.14%. Furthermore, the post-test results indicated that the module effectively improved students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, with an effectiveness value of 0.7758. Overall, it could be concluded that this ethnomathematics-based learning module was valid, practical, and effective in enhancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of 10th-grade high school students
