Model Disabilitas dan Implementasinya Terhadap Praktik Pelayanan Pastoral di Greja Kristen Jawi Wetan (GKJW)
Abstract. Implementing the disability model offers a new paradigm for pastoral ministry to individuals with disabilities within congregations. This study employs a qualitative approach by accurately detailing facts related to the phenomenon under investigation. The study’s results indicate that the disability model is a theoretical framework for understanding and addressing disability in pastoral ministry. The practices of the GKJW (Greja Kristen Jawi Wetan) implicitly incorporate the principles of a new friendship approach—known in Javanese as paseduluran (brotherhood)—and kinship in developing pastoral services for individuals with disabilities. Disability pastoral care is further conceptualized as both a physical and social space, facilitating communion and fostering the creation of meaning within pastoral relationships. This approach embodies forming a new community that includes the pastor, individuals with disabilities, and their families. It simultaneously becomes a space for holistic growth and the flourishing of the congregation as an integrated community.
Reconsider the Meaning of Scapegoat Ritual in Leviticus 16:20-22
The scapegoating ritual in Leviticus 16 is central to ancient Jewish religion as part of the Yom Kippur celebration. The sacrifice of a scapegoat thrown into the desert is a unique ritual because it only appears in Leviticus 16 of the entire biblical text, and the only story that uses an animal to take away all the sins of the Israelites. The issue that will be discussed in this study is to find the origins and meaning of this ritual. From the historical criticism interpretation approach to the text of Leviticus 16:20-22, it can be concluded that the meaning of this ritual can be used as a warning (threat) for the Israelites, in which expulsion/exile is a real possibility if they live in sin, and also as a means (ceremony) to reconcile God and man
Ecclesiology Model in Asian Public Theology
This article attempted to answer the problem formulation, how does the model of ecclesiology based on Asian public theology? Based on this problem formulation, this article aimed to discuss Felix Wilfred's views on Asian public theology, ecclesiological model that is relevant to the perspective of Asian public theology, and the practical implications of the idea on Asian public theology for Church pastoral work. Using a literature study approach, the author attempted to read and explore several of Wilfred's important works on Asian public theology. The result showed that public theology moves outward and opens itself up (inclusive) to meet, embrace and collaborate with others outside the Christian community. Wilfred's Asian public theology perspective always comes from concrete situations, so it is often referred to as subaltern theology
Hospitalitas Kepemimpinan Kristen: Analisis Kepemimpinan Yesus dalam Injil Lukas

Kerukunan Seluruh Ciptaan: Menggagas Moderasi Beragama yang Bersifat Kosmosentris
Abstract. Does religious moderation only relate to human life so that harmony can be created? Through this reflection, we offer the fifth indicator of Religious Moderation in Indonesia. This indicator is Compassion for All Creation as a broader relationship than the four current indicators of Religious Moderation. Compassion for all creation is inspired by the concept of Deep Incarnation and the exposition of Romans 8:18-30. This construction leads to harmony between the universe and living creatures that are embodied in all religious communities in Indonesia.
Abstract. In Christian theological discourse, the term pleroma of God is commonly applied to Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity. Despite the explicit support of biblical texts, the consensus indicates a lack of attention to the Holy Spirit, the Third, especially in conversations about the characteristics of the pleroma of God. An exegetical approach to the text of Acts 2:2 opens up the imaginative possibility that the Holy Spirit also assumes a pleromative role, precisely post-ascension of Christ. As a finding, the elaboration of the pleroma of the Holy Spirit makes room for the prophetic role, that the fulfillment by the Holy Spirit empowers a universal prophetic voice. Secondly, the pleroma of the Holy Spirit will always confirm the Trinitarian faith, a belief that underlies every theological passion in the Christian faith.
Abstract. This article is a study of John Calvin's concept of thought about humans. By drawing on and analyzing John Calvin's thoughts, the author believes that the background of John Calvin's life needs to be explained comprehensively in order to understand his theology about humans. The background of the life in question includes: the background of Calvin's life, the influence of philosophical schools on the formation of Calvin's theology and the controversy over his life which makes many people wonder. By using literature study approach, the author examines it analytically and methodically and obtains three points that can be of actual relevance to social transformation efforts in Indonesia. First, the social human that Calvin meant was a human who always prioritizes an attitude of hospitality. Second, social humans are humans who abandon the tendency to prioritize individualistic attitudes. Third, social people are people who continue to fight for Indonesia as a "city of God," an area where people will feel peace because they accept justice and the virtues of life.
Liberating Political Commitment Based on Democracy in General Election
The implementation of the General Election, including its implications for governance, has so far been full of various deviations from the principles of democracy. Therefore, with a theological perspective, democracy needs to be rebuilt to free society from democratic shifts in the Election and governance that have an impact on discomfort in living together. This article aims to construct a liberating political commitment of Christian society based on a dialogue between the ideas of democracy according to Karsadi and Franz Magnis-Suseno with the idea of the prophetic role of the church according to John Chr. Ruhulessin. The result of this study shows that a liberating political commitment can be built through the internalization of church teachings, so that the church is responsible for providing Christian political ethics education
Gereja di Ruang Publik Indonesia Berdasarkan Pemikiran A.A. Yewangoe
Abstract. A.A. Yewangoe through his thoughts can be said to be a theo-nationalist figure because of his ability to integrate Christian teachings with the socio-cultural context of Indonesia in an effort to build a just and dignified democratic society. In this regard, this study focuses on Yewangoe's intellectual, theological, and ecclesiological analysis in responding to social, political, and democratic issues in Indonesia. Emphasis is placed on how Yewangoe integrates Christian teachings with Indonesian socio-cultural values to create a democratic society. Yewangoe emphasizes that the church has an active role in creating a just social order, by combining Christian values and local wisdom of Indonesian society. This idea encourages the church and Christians to be more reflective about their responsibilities in the public sphere, while at the same time criticizing the view that separates the church from social life. Thus, Yewangoe’s thoughts offer a significant perspective on the role of the church in the formation of a more just and dignified Indonesian society.Abstrak. A.A.
Christian Education Curriculum: Discipleship-Based Recovery as a Model for Character Development of Addicts in Drug Rehabilitation Centers
This study investigates the effectiveness of a Christian discipleship-based curriculum for character development in drug rehabilitation, addressing the limitations of conventional approaches that often neglect spiritual dimensions. Using document analysis of rehabilitation curricula and program materials, the research examines how faith-based principles facilitate holistic recovery. The analysis reveals four key findings: First, theological foundations of repentance and redemption provide a unique framework for identity transformation. Second, the curriculum effectively combines biblical teaching with experiential learning methods. Third, the integration of psychological principles with spiritual disciplines creates a synergistic approach to recovery. Fourth, while showing promising results in long-term sobriety and moral development, implementation faces challenges like cultural adaptation and resource constraints. The study demonstrates that discipleship-oriented programs offer distinct advantages by addressing both behavioral and existential aspects of addiction. The curriculum's strength lies in its ability to foster purpose-driven transformation through structured spiritual formation
