No full textMit der Beschreibung von Drosophila orena spec. nov. erhöht sich die Zahl der Spezies in der Artgruppe melanogaster auf sieben. Vier dieser Arten wurden seit 1971 deskribiert. Diese Entdeckung bestätigt die Hypothese der afrikanischen Herkunft von D. melanogaster. Interessant ist die Feststellung, daß die Untergruppe melanogaster im Laufe ihrer Entwicklung sowohl ubiquitäre, kosmopolitische und kolonisierende Arten als auch spezialisierte Arten mit einer schmalen ökologischen Nische bilden konnte.Nomenklatorische Handlungenorena Tsacas & David, 1978 (Drosophila (Sophophora)), spec. n.The description of Drosophila orena spec. nov. adds a 7th species to the melanogaster sub-group. Four of these species have been described since 1971. This discovery confirms the hypothesis of an African origin of D. melanogaster. It is interesting to note that, during its evolution, the melanogaster sub-group was able to produce both ubiquitous, cosmopolitan, colonizing species and specialized ones with a narrow ecological niche. No full textDie weiblichen Terminalien von Stratiomyidae, Pantophthalmidae und der Gattung Heterostomus, (warscheinlich Coenomyiidae) werden beschrieben und abgebildet. Dieser Artikel behandelt 26 Gattungen und 39 Arten. Damit werden zusammen mit jenen aus Nagatomi & Iwata 1976 und Iwata & Nagatomi 1976 insgesamt 12 Familien, 61 Gattungen und 89 Arten niederer Brachyceren erfasst, obwohl viele Stratiomyidae-Gattungen hinsichtlich der weiblichen Terminalien noch nicht untersucht sind.The female terminalia of Stratiomyidae, and the genus Heterostomus (probably Geonomyiidae)are described and illustrated. Twenty-six genera and 39 species are treated in this paper. Thus a total of 12 families, 61 genera, and 89 species belonging to the lower Brachycera are included in our previous reports (Nagatomi & Iwata 1976, and Iwata & Nagatomi 1976) and the present paper, although many genera of Stratiomyidae still remain unstudied with respect to the female terminalia

No full textAuf der Grundlage der Bewertung der Merkmale in Bezug auf ihren Aussagewert für die verwandschaftlichen Beziehungen wurde eine phylogenetische Gliederung der Epermeneiidae der Welt vorgenommen. Die Untersuchung ergab, dass die bisher als eigene Gattung aufgefaßte Cataplectica Walsingham als Untergattung von Epermenia Hübner anzusehen ist. Für die bisher zu Ochromolopis Hübner gestellten australischen Arten (bis auf cornutifera) wird die neue Gattung Gnathifera aufgestellt.Nomenklatorische HandlungenCataplectica Walsingham, 1894 (Epermeniidae), comb. n. now subgenus of the genus Epermenia Hübner, 1825Gnathifera Gaedike, 1978 (Epermeniidae), gen. n.A phylogenetic classification of the Epermeniidae of the world is given on the basis of an evaluation of their characteristics with regard to their significance for their relationships. No full textEs wird eine Revision der Arten der Gattung Acrometopia Schiner vorgenommen; alle Arten der Neuen Welt, die bisher dieser Gattung zugeordnet wurden, werden jetzt zur Gattung Toropamecia gen. nov. gehörend betrachtet mit den folgenden neuen Kombinationen: Toropamecia australis (Malloch), T. maculata (Coquillett), T. punctata (Coquillett) und T. reticulata (Johnson). Außerdem werden zwölf neue Arten beschrieben. Es wird vorgeschlagen, den Namen Toropamecia reticulata (Hendel) durch Toropamecia hendeli zu ersetzen. Die Gattung Parapamecia wird für die einzelne Art Parapamecia intacta spec. nov. aufgestellt und eine neue Art, Acrometopia setosifrons aus Nepal, wird beschrieben.
