Insgesamt sind jetzt 7 Arten dieser Familie aus Albanien bekannt.The material of the Goleopterus family Cleridae collected by the Albania-expedition of the Deutsches Entomologisches Institut contains 27 specimens representing 5 species 3 of which are new to the fauna of Albania. There are now 7 species of the Cleridae known from Albania

No full textAn einer kurzen Zusammenstellung der Ergebnisse einer labormäßig betriebenen Massenaufzucht von Perillus bioculatus (Fabr.), räuberisch an allen Entwicklungsstadien von Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say) lebend, werden Zuchtprobleme erörtert. Die Fortführung von Laborzuchten wird auf die Eignung der Tiere für eine Akklimatisation geprüft. Diskutiert wird die Verlagerung der Massenzucht unter Freilandbedingungen mit nur einer Generation im Jahre und der damit verbundenen natürlichen Anpassung an die klimatischen Bedingungen, einer höheren Überwinterungsquote und der daraus zu erwartenden höheren Eizahlen während der Hauptaktivitätsperiode des Kartoffelkäfers im Mai und Juni.There are discussed the problems of mass rearing of Perillus bioculatus (Fabr.), predaceous on all stages of the Colorado Beetle, based upon the results of investigations under laboratory conditions, the continuation of which is examined with special regard to acclimatization of the predator. There is stressed the possibility of a dislocation of mass rearing under field conditions with only one generation a year, a more natural adaption to climatic factors, a higher hibernating quote, and the resulting higher number of eggs during the main activity period of the Colorado Beetle in May and June

Die Opiinae der äthiopischen Region (Hymenoptera: Braconidae).
No full textEs wurde eine taxonomische Gesamtdarstellung der äthiopischen Opiinae versucht. Von den 13 bekannten Gattungen der Opiinae, für die eine Bestimmungstabelle gegeben wird, haben fünf Vertreter in der äthiopischen Region, nämlich Opius Wesm., Gnaptodon Hal., Ademon Hal., Austroopius Szepl. und Thoracoplites Fischer. Es wurden zusammen 100 Arten berücksichtigt, von denen 96 auf die Gattung Opius Wesm. entfallen; die anderen sind mit je 1 Art vertreten. Bestimmungsschlüssel der Untergattungen, der Sektionen, Artengruppen und Arten werden gegeben. Soweit dies nicht schon in früheren Arbeiten des Autors geschehen ist, wurden ausführliche Redeskriptionen der bereits beschriebenen Arten nach einheitlichen Gesichtspunkten sowie Fundorts- bzw. This publication deals with 100 species, 96 of them belonging to Opius Wesm., while each of the other 4 genera is represented by only 1 species. There are given keys for the identification of subgenera, sections, groups, and species. No full textDie Arbeit bringt eine Liste der an fünf mitteleuropäischen Fundorten, besonders im Gebiet um St. Blasien im Hochschwarzwald, gesammelten Arten der Unterfamilie Belytinae (Fam. Diapriidae). Aus einem Vergleich zwischen den verschiedenen Biotopen und den in ihnen gefundenen Belytinae, wie auch der übrigen Proctotrupoidea, konnte der Verfasser feststellen, daß diese Insektengruppe in der Regel an solchen Orten häufig vertreten ist, die schwache Lichtverhältnisse, eine möglichst dichte bodennahe Pflanzendecke und einen ziemlich hohen Grad an Feuchtigkeit aufweisen.There are summarized species of the subfamily Belytinae (Fam. Diapriidae) collected at five Central-European localities (especially around St. Blasien, Black Forest, W-Germany). Comparing the different biotops and the Belytinae found there (with regard to the other Proctotrupoidea) the author could state that these insects are generally frequent at localities which are characterized by low illumination, a closed low vegetation, and a moderately high degree of moisture
