    Desain dan Uji Coba Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Videoscribe Sebagai Sumber Belajar Pada Materi Bentuk Molekul Kelas X IPA SMA

    This research was instigated by the importance of technology-based learning facilities for students in learning Chemistry.  This research aimed at knowing validity and practicality levels of the media designed.  It was conducted to the tenth-grade students of MIA 2 of State Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year of 2019/2020, and they were 12 students.It was Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall modification model.  The subjects of this research were who tested the validity (the experts of media and material) and practicality (teachers and students).  Interview and questionnaire were used to collect the data.  The final product was in the form of a valid learning media.  Videoscribe-based learning media on Molecular Shapes lesson developed was tested valid by the experts of media and material with 91.87% mean percentage (very valid) and it was tested practical by 2 Chemistry subject teachers and 12 students with 91.02% mean percentage.  Based on these findings, it could be concluded that Videoscribe-based learning media on Molecular Shapes lesson was valid and practical, sothe testcould be done at thefurther stage

    Mathematics has been a part of human cuIture for a very Iong time. Many assume that mathe matics is finaI, permanent, absoIute and unreIated to cuIture. Ethnomatematic is present to bridge be tween cuIture and education, especiaIIy in mathematics Iearning. One of the ethnomatematic objects is an artifact. Each area certainIy has its own cuIture, incIuding artifacts in the form of historicaI buiId ings that are characteristic of the area. Muaro Takus TempIe is one of the historicaI buiIdings in Kec. XIII Koto Kampar Riau. Muara Takus temple is an ancient religious artifact whose construction is still a mystery has the potential as a source of mathematical learning, but this must go through the exploration process. The purpose of this expIorative research with ethnographic approach is to ex pIore and expIore what mathematicaI concepts exist in Muaro Takus tempIe that can be used as a source of mathematics Iearning as weII as an effort to deveIop ethnomatematics as the basis of mathe matics Iearning. Through expIoration, interviews, documentation, Iiterature studies and observations in the muaro takus tempIe environment, it can be concIuded that there is a concept of square fIat buid (square, rectanguIar, paraIIeI trapezoidaI and irreguIar, rectangIe) and triangIe (right triangIe), circIe, refIection & diIatation, as weII as Iines and angIes on the structure of Muara Takus tempIe buiId ing.     The creative thingking ability of students in high school is still very low. This is due to the ina dequate use of teaching materials. The teaching used are still using printed modules and do not contains steps in the learning model that direct students to be able to improve their creative thingking skills. One of the solutions to improve student’s creative thinking skill in physics learning is to use –electronic mod- ule (e-module). The e-module which is equipped with a Guided Inquiry Learning Model and Integrat- ed Ethnoscience is a suitable combination to increase creative thinking skills. Through the e-module, students are able to learn independently with the help of ethnoscience in their neighborhood. This study aims to determine the level of validity of the e-module physics based Guided Inquiry Integrated eith Ethnoscience to improve student’s Creative Thinking Skills. The type of research is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE development model. But, in this research is limited to the devel- opment stage. Because, this research only to see the validity of the product. The instrument used was a validation sheet in the form of an assessment questionnaire by three validators. The data analysis technique used is Aiken V formula. The result validation of e-module an average of 0,83 with the valid category. From the validation results it can be said that Physics e-modul based on guided inquiry in- tegrated with ethnoscience to improve students creative thinking skills meets the valid criteria

    This study aims to analyze the SMAN 1 Batam students’ chemical literacy level on the fundamental chemical laws topic according to the scientific literacy framework adapted by Shwartz. This research is a quantitative study with a sample of 50 XI grade science students from SMAN 1 Batam. Data is obtained from a chemical literacy test on the fundamental chemical laws topic answered by students; the data is analyzed with the Rasch model. The results showed students with the highest ability have a true answer with explanations that unrelated to the text of the items and students with the lowest ability have a wrong or a blank answer. Thus, it was concluded, students with the highest ability have a conceptual scientific literacy level on the hardest item, meanwhile, students with the lowest ability categorized as scientific illiteracy.   &nbsp

    The individual's capacity to be effective in life is determined by his reasoning abilities, especially with the ultimate goal of overcoming life's problems. Basic reasoning is a clear and coordinated cycle of reasoning used in critical, dynamic thinking, investigating and leading logical examinations. This research aims to determine the critical thinking abilities of students at SMAN 4 Padang on Environmental Pollution Material. This type of research is descriptive, the sample is determined by proportional random sampling. The sample size was 125 students from 50% of each class member who were taken randomly. Students' critical thinking tests are analyzed per indicator consisting of: Analysis, Evaluation, Deductive and Inductive. Based on the results of the critical thinking analysis of students at SMAN 4 Padang, the average percentage was 71.99% in the high category. Almost any part of the upper level character can be balanced in the student, so that one can make tentative decisions

    The decline in environmental quality is a severe problem that occurs in various countries in the world. The decline in environmental quality can occur due to several factors, including habitat degradation (pollution), ecosystem damage, and global climate change. Instilling an attitude of caring for the environment in higher education can be done through Environmental Education materials integrated into several courses or stand as a separate subject. The ultimate goal of Environmental Education is to make students have environmental literacy (environmental literacy). This study aimed to analyze the need for the development of environmental literacy instruments and to develop prototypes of literacy instruments. This research is a type of survey research. The research carries out in May – September 2019 at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UAD. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and unstructured interviews with questionnaire data collection instruments. Descriptive data analysis technique. Environmental science courses provide information on current environmental issues that students urgently need. After taking environmental science courses, students feel that environmental literacy has increased, but the level of environmental literacy is not yet known. Students and lecturers feel the need to see the level of environmental literacy, so it is necessary to develop an instrument to measure environmental literacy. The literacy instrument that will develop refers to the NAAEE consisting of four components, namely Competence (identification, analysis, investigation, and solution of environmental problems; knowledge (ecological concepts, environmental concepts, and environmental components); disposition (ideas/ideas, concern), sensitivity. ). , solutions to environmental problems); behavior (commitment to care for the environment and concrete actions to care for the environment)

    The problem in this research is that the attainment of competence attitudes of students is still not optimal, namely the tough attitude of students in facing earthquake disasters. This development research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of using the integrated Physics e-book material for earthquake disaster mitigation in physics learning to improve the competence of students' resilient attitude. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the Plomp development model which consists of three stages, namely the preliminary research phase, the development or prototyping phase, and the assessment phase. This study only describes the results of the assessment phase, namely the competence of students' attitudes. The method used in this research is descriptive method with data collection instruments, namely self-assessment in the form of questionnaires filled out by students. This research was conducted at 14 Padang Senior High School for the 2019/2020 Academic Year on wave material. The results of this study indicate that the integrated physics e-book earthquake mitigation material is effectively used in the learning process with the average percentage of students' attitudes for three meetings, namely 81% in the very effective category

    Two types of errors are one of the important topics in hypothesis testing. Studying the two types of errors is not only studying how the procedure determines the probability of making an error, but it is very important to study the theoretical concepts of the two types of errors. To achieve this goal, a learning design is needed that can facilitate students to construct their own concepts of the two types of errors. The learning design developed is local instructional theory resulting from the cyclic process of hypothetical learning trajectory. The type of research used is design research using the model developed by Gravemeijer and Cobb. The test subjects used in this study were students of the Ma thematics Education Study Program, FMIPA UNP who took the Elementary Statistics Course in the July – December 2019 semester. This research resulted in a very practical local instructional theory used to facilitate students in carrying out horizontal and vertical mathematization processes, so that students are able to construct their own concepts of two types of errors in hypothesis testing

    Kepraktisan Video Pembelajaran Kalkulus untuk Fisika dalam Proses Belajar Daring pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

    Corona virus disease (covid-19) has spread all over the world and became a pandemic in short time. Indonesia is one of the countries that affected by covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 changed everything in various area including education. Online learning became one of the solutions in universities in order to keep learning process going. Unfortunately, policy to apply online learning is facing many difficulties associated with infra-structure, student economic capability and time management. Learning video is presented to overcome difficulties of online learning during covid-19 pandemic in subject of Calculus for Physics. The video presents material supported by sample problem and solution. Practicality of the learning video was examined by collecting student`s responses in aspect of ease of use, learning time efficiency, attractiveness and benefits. Data was analyzed using percentage formula to determine criteria of practicality. The result of the observation revealed that learning video of calculus for physics has a good practicality that represented by score of each aspects of 81,26% for ease of use, 83,53% for learning time efficiency, 79,87% for attractiveness and 81,08% for benefits. Based on this result we conclude that learning video is very useful to assist student in online learning during covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, learning video could be one of the best choices in learning media to apply digital and remote learning in facing of Industrial Revolution 4.0
