TOURIST MАRKET IN THE CURRENT POST-PANDEMIC CONTEXT
The negаtive effects of the COVID -19 pаndemic on the tourist trаffic аnd the tourism sector hаve been felt globаlly, but to different extents, depending on the tourism regions аnd countries.
In Romаniа, the decreаse recorded in tourist trаffic during the pаndemic period hаs been severe, but within the limits of the аverаge recorded in Europeаn Union Member Stаtes аnd with considerаbly different vаlues, depending on the cаtegories of tourist destinаtions in the country.
The mаin chаllenge for Romаniа remаins cаrrying out а lаrge-scаle promotion cаmpаign on the foreign mаrkets relаted to its tourist offer, given the modest results obtаined so fаr in аttrаcting foreign tourists, despite the tourism potentiаl thаt it hаs. The post-COVID-19 period could represent а reset of tourism in Romаniа
Sensitivity Analysis between Lagrange Multipliers and Consumer Budget: Utility Maximization Case
In this paper sensitivity analysis between Lagrange multipliers and total budget is discussed. The method of Lagrange multipliers is a very useful and powerful technique in multivariable calculus. In mathematical economics, utility is the vital concept that increases or decreases overall happiness of the consumers. This study tries to discuss utility maximization policy of an organization by considering two constraints: budget constraint and coupon constraint. In this article, an attempt has been taken to achieve the best result through the application of scientific method of optimization
THE ROLE OF THE CONSUMER'S PERSONALITY IN CREATING THE BRAND'S PERSONALITY
In modern business conditions, people are constantly engaged in building their identity, so the symbolic characteristics of products are often the primary reasons for their purchase. Brand personality is generally understood as a characteristic of a brand. Accordingly, just like people, all brands have a certain degree of personality. In some cases they are very emotional and lively, in other cases they are underestimated or barely noticeable. Since the brand personality is an intangible category, marketing experts strive to understand the needs of consumers and how the brand personality affects their preferences and loyalty. Starting from the existing theoretical views, the aim of the author is to investigate the relationship between the personality of the consumer and the personality of the brand in the mobile phone market in the Republic of Serbia. The intention is to look at the relationship between personality characteristics and individual dimensions of the brand personality based on the obtained empirical data, based on which the connection between these variables will be identified, and then guidelines for further business in the mobile phone market
STANDARD COST EFFECT ON PERFORMANCE OF SELECTED LISTED FOOD AND BEVERAGE COMPANIES IN NIGERIA, WEST AFRICA
The aim of this research was to determine whether or not a change in standard cost will improve the financial standing of a sample of Nigerian food and beverage manufacturers. This goal was reached by analyzing the relationship between the price of raw materials, the price of labor, and the price of manufacturing overhead on the bottom line of Nigerian food and beverage firms. Five manufacturing firms were chosen at random for the research. Nestle Plc, Cadbury Nig Plc, P.Z. Cussons Nig. Plc, and Presco Nig. Plc are the food and beverage companies that were included in the survey. In this case, we used secondary data that we had gathered over the previous decade (2010-2020). Panel estimation methods (pooled OLS, fixed effect estimation, and random effect) and a post estimation test were used to examine the compiled data. The results showed that a firm's performance in the manufacturing sector in Nigeria was significantly correlated with its manufacturing overhead costs, but negatively correlated with its raw material costs, and positively correlated with its labor costs. The research indicated that careful consideration of raw material costs and the maintenance of effective standard costing across all labor costs were necessary to obtain the desired results. Because of the significant savings in time and money that may be achieved via the use of standard costing principles and procedures, the research concludes that all food and beverage businesses in Nigeria should do so

TAXES AND PROFITABILITY OF DEPOSIT MONEY BANKS IN SELECTED AFRICA COUNTRIES
This study examined the effect of taxes on profitability of Deposit Money Banks in selected Afrcan countries . Objectively, the study examined the effect of company income tax and education tax on profitability of DMBs in selected Afrcan countries in terms of return on equity and return on assets. Ex-post facto research design was adopted and the population covered all the 14 quoted Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria; out of which, 10 banks were purposively selected. Secondary data obtained from the audited annual financial statement of the selected banks for 10 years spanning from 2010-2019 was used. Panel regression of fixed and random effect estimation was to test the formulated hypotheses and this was carried out after descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. It was discovered that corporate income tax exerts a positive but insignificant effect on profitability of deposit money banks in terms of return on equity and return on asset to the tune of 0.011(p=0.503 > 0.05) and 0.001(p=0.617 > 0.05) respectively. Education tax was found to have a positive and significant effect on return on equity to the tune of 0.006(p=0.047 < 0.05). However, it has a positive but insignificant effect on return on asset to the tune of 0.0005 (p=0.317 > 0.05). Based on the findings made, it was established that there was a statistically significant effect of taxes on the profitability of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria. Thus, it was recommended that the tenets of the ability to pay tax on company income tax and education should be upheld by the relevant tax authorities in Nigeria. This might afford firms with financial crises and low profitability to pay commensurate taxes. Keywords: Company Income Tax, Education Tax, Return on Equity, Return on Asset

Effect of Oil Receipts and Fuel Subsidy Payment on Current Account Deficit in Nigeria and Venezuela
The study assessed the effect of oil receipts and fuel subsidy payment on current account deficit in Nigeria and Venezuela. Data collected were analysed using trend analyses, unit root, cointegration techniques and Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). The result showed that estimated oil revenue had a negative and significant impact on current account deficit in the short- run in Nigeria ( and Venezuela (. The estimated oil revenue had a negative and significant impact on current account deficit in the long-run in Nigeria and Venezuela (. Fuel subsidies also had positive and significant long-run impact on current account gap in Nigeria () and Venezuela. The study concluded that despite the positive contributions of oil receipts to the current account in the two countries, continues fuel subsidy payment would impose significant fiscal costs and undermine current account position in Venezuela much more than Nigeria
USING BIG DATA IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Digitalization is fundamentally changing companies and other organizations, just as the business world has never seen before. Changes also take place on the financial and accounting side of a company. Future digital advancements are a necessity because providers use this type of systems. The use of new technologies in business management is expected especially in terms of document recognition, data exchange, receipt and payment transactions, communication, excel replacement, text recognition. Big Data is becoming an indispensable resource for many organizations. Digitalization is fundamentally changing companies and other organizations, just as the business world has never seen before. The term Big Data has evolved in a flash to take into account the rapidly expanding quantities of digital information systems that are generated, the hard work of creating that information that can be analyzed, and the actual use of that data as capital to increase efficiency, create and enable innovation, and improve decision-making
Benchmarks related to financing, accounting and benefits of the projects financed with European funds, which can be implemented by entities in the Ministry of National Defence
The core of the papers consists in the ineluctable explanation of the amount to which the European funds absorbed, a strategic resource, influence the development of the Ministry of National Defence (MND), through the essential financial support, valuable in the implementation of the economic, social, health, political and military processes. The purpose and motivation of this paper are professional, as in my position of public officer of the Romanian state, I am in search of the most efficient financing solutions and means, considering the national interest, the essential pillar ensuring permanent support for the economic progress, as well as for the stability of the society as a whole. In developing the topic of the: “Benchmarks related to financing, accounting and benefits of the projects financed with European funds, implemented by entities in the Ministry of National Defence”, I have used quantitative and qualitative methods of research, comparative analysis of the data and information selected and we are going to present thus various considerations, findings and approaches at theoretical level as concerns the European financing and the use of the European funds in Romania. The most remarkable motivation for selecting the topic is to express in a balanced manner the impact the European funds have on the development of Romania, as there have been quite heterogeneous discussions. In the final part, I have pointed out the role of the accounting in the implementation of such projects in entities under the Ministry of National Defence.
