REVENUE DISTRIBUTION FROM FEDERATION ACCOUNT AND MONEY SUPPLY: EVIDENCE FROM NIGERIA
AbstractMoney supply in every economy is very vital for economic growth and stability. However, the role of revenue distribution in ensuring the success of monetary policies revolving around money supply in Nigeria cannot be over-estimated. The study examines the impact of revenue distribution to the three tiers of government on money supply (MSS) in Nigeria. Time series data used for the study estimation span from 1981-2016 and were obtained from CBN statistical bulletin, 2016 edition and World Bank website. The specific purpose of the study is to establish the extent to which revenue allocation to federal, state, local governments and derivation allowance to the mineral producing states affect money circulating in the Nigerian economy. Ordinary least square method (OLS) was employed with the aid of SPSS version 20 to test the impact of revenue distribution on money supply. The findings reveal that revenue allocation to federal government has a significant positive impact on money supply. Allocation to local government councils has insignificant positive impact on money supply. On the contrary, allocation to states and the derivation allowance to Niger Delta States exert significant negative influence on MSS in Nigeria. The study concludes that, revenue allocation to states and derivation allowance contribute to inflation in the country and recommended stringent monetary policies that will determine the percentage of allocated revenue usage by all tiers of government in a particular period to avoid too much money in circulation. Keywords: Revenue distribution, allocation, money supply, economic stability, derivation.JEL CODE: E51, E64.
CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS INTERACTION WITH NATURAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL PROCESSES
Human-made GHGs work against us when they trap too much sunlight and block outward radiation. Scientists worry that the accumulation of these gases in the atmosphere has changed and will continue to change the climate. Potential climate risks include more severe weather patterns; hobbled ecosystems, with less biodiversity; changes in patterns of drought and flood, with less potable water; inundation of coastal areas from rising sea levels; and a greater spread of infectious diseases such as malaria, yellow fever, and cholera. On the plus side, climate change might benefit agriculture and forestry in certain locations by increasing productivity as a result of longer growing seasons and increased fertilization. Although climate change is not the same as day-to-day or even year-to-year fluctuations in the weather, the nature of these fluctuations could be altered by climate change
RETHINKING PERSUASION IN RELIGIOUS SYMBOLIC COMMUNICATION: A MARKETING POINT OF VIEW
The marketing dynamics of the study and praxis of persuasion present different interweavings with the time frame chosen. Even so, we consider that the only one offering a stable reference background is religious communication, because even if interpretations may differ, the basic principles of association towards individual apprehension and comprehension remain the same. It is the author intention to try to map out possible connections between persuasion, as a symbolic process, and religious symbolic communication, by assuming that, in a Biblical sense, communication is intrinsic to the act of being of all humanity

The confidence of companies and consumers has slowed down. In response, financial conditions have relaxed as the central banks have moved towards a more coherent monetary situation. Tax policy has provided incentives only in a few countries

APPROACHES TO STAFF BEHAVIOUR FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Operational management or operations management, as established in many speciality papers, is an area of activity that is particularly important for the successful implementation of business activities and not only. From the point of view of the connections that can be established between this concept and the one regarding the staff management, we note the direct influence that the degree of motivation in the work, the commitment and the connection to the specific values of a certain organizational culture have on the performance of the subsidiary activities of the operations management. Effective operations management implies not only the optimal use of the organization’s resources, but also the engagement of staff through a behaviour whose specific features emphasize responsibility, teamwork, transparency, and commitment to assigned tasks. This article highlights the need for the staff to be connected as well as possible to the organization’s values and objectives; the efficient management of operations within it is closely connected to the level of harmonization between the values and objectives, on the one hand, and the interests and motivation of the employees, on the other hand.

A RELATIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF AGRICULTURE, OIL AND NON-OIL TAX REVENUES TO NIGERIA’S ECONOMIC EXPANSION
The decline in oil prices globally has led to diversification of economy in most oil enriched countries. In Nigeria, more attention is given to agriculture and non-tax revenue sources to ensure that the country overcomes a mono-economy syndrome which has affected the nation in the past. This study assesses the contributions of agriculture, oil and non-oil tax revenue to economic expansion in Nigeria using data that cover a period from 1981 to 2017. The regression results indicate that oil revenue has a significant negative impact on economic growth which is represented by gross domestic product. On the contrary, the study finds evidence that agriculture and non-oil tax revenue have a robust significant and positive influence on economic growth. Therefore, the study suggests that tax administration in Nigeria should be more business-growth conscious and that agriculture should be given a boost by creating an enabling environment that could attract foreign direct investments in the agricultural sector. The study also recommends that oil revenues should be utilized for reinvestments into other sectors of the economy.
