    Abstract Corona Virus Disease 2019 or abbreviated as Covid-19 is a dangerous disease that is transmitted through air or indirect contact. Covid-19 in Indonesia has been going on for a long time, that is, it has reached more than a year. The impact caused by Covid-19 also covers overall human activities, both for parents, workers, students, as well as children and toddlers. Due to the easy spread of Covid-19, namely through the air and various media that have been exposed to positive Covid-19 patients, the government has imposed social and regional restrictions. This causes all activities in the community to be carried out indirectly or online from home. The world of education is no exception, which is one of the many things affected by Covid-19. Educational institutions both in the form of schools and colleges have begun to apply learning rules through online media from home. To support this learning program, the government provides a lot of assistance, both in the form of cutting school fees to providing subsidized assistance in the form of internet quotas. Here the authors conducted a study in which to find out how effective the use of internet quota subsidies was by students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative method obtained from the results of a case study that focuses on assistance provided by the government in efforts to reduce the impact caused by Covid-19. The results of the study explained that the provision of assistance in the form of internet quotas by the government to students was not very effective in its distribution and use. This is due to several determinants as some regions cannot use it due to weak signal constraints

    Abstract: In the modern era like today, the values ​​that exist in society have shifted, including the value of Hajj. In the past, the motivation for carrying out the pilgrimage was to get closer to Allah while carrying out the fifth pillar of Islam. However, currently the motivation for the pilgrimage is more directed at the value of symbols that serve to raise one's social status in society. This study aims to explore how the shift in motivation for Hajj in the community in Lontar Surabaya Village. Therefore, the theory used in this study is the social construction of Peter L Berger's perspective. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that; First, the motivation for Hajj in the modern era has shifted, because the social structure of the Lontar community creates a social order that a community group wants to achieve. As a result, the social structure has implications for the shift in Hajj motivation. Second, the shift in motivation for Hajj in the Lontar community is driven by internal and external factors. The internal motivation of the Lontar community to carry out the pilgrimage is to show their high social status in the community. Meanwhile, the external motivation of the Lontar community to carry out Hajj is to increase prestige and get awards in the community

    Abstract In addition to the moral decline, the sense of nationalism as a citizen also experienced the same thing. Attitudes and actions that do not reflect good citizens of the State often characterize the State of Indonesia. One example is the act of discrimination from the majority group to the minority group. Indonesia was built by diversity, not individuals. Through a joint consensus by the nation's founding fathers, not the common people. All forms of discrimination are not allowed either according to Islamic law or the rules that apply in a country. In Indonesia, the rules regarding freedom to embrace religion and belief are regulated in Law no. 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature approach, and the analysis uses descriptive. The results of the analysis show that Pancasila values ​​are the essence of the feeling of the condition of the Indonesian nation. The value of the first precepts of Pancasila is in synergy with the moral message behind the text of the verse and the substance of the teachings of Islam itself. The value of the first precepts of Pancasila becomes the foundation for the following precepts. Everything is in synergy with each other and there is no contradiction. In the context of internalizing the values ​​of Pancasila, there are at least three implementation problems. The first is the problem of implementing basic values, the second is the value of the instrument, and the third is the practical value

    Abstract Al-Qur'an is the holy book that was given to us Muslims as a gift. Allah provides many conveniences for those who want to learn it. Both in terms of reading, memorizing, interpretation and various other scientific fields. For this reason, there is no more important knowledge for a Muslim to learn than the virtue of studying the Al-Quran and knowing how to apply the reading of the al-7 with the tajdied method to elementary school students as well as the factors that support, hinder learning Al-quran. This research uses qualitative research, the research intends to understand what is experienced by research subjects in a special context. In this study, data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data processing uses three main steps in research, namely: data reduction, data presentation (data display), data verification (summarizing data). In the results of this study, there is a planning for learning to read the Al-qur'an with the tajdied method, including curriculum and media through this method which can provide responsiveness in reading the Koran for elementary school students, in practice the teacher carries out teaching and learning interaction activities guided by on the teaching preparation that has been made. Teaching materials are given according to the order that has been programmed systematically in the preparation stage and\ the teacher still pays attention to the principles of teaching. The evaluation of learning to read the Koran using the tajdied method is whether the students are successful in reading the Koran, including the components of tajwid and makhorijul letters

    Abtsract The main factor in improving the quality of learning of reading and writing Qur'an among Muslims is human resources. In the context of education, teachers are the main actor to be improved. The aims are better output of learning. Teachers in the context of Islam is a guide for students. This study aims to determine how the teacher's role in an effort to improve the quality of reading the Qur'an at TPQ Al-Chusnaniyah Surabaya. To answer this, the researchers conducted a descriptive qualitative research with the methods of interview, observation, and documentation as the data collection technique. The finding is that in teaching and learning activities to read and write the Qur'an, the learning process becomes very important, especially in terms of giving concrete examples to students. The results of the teacher's role in efforts to improve learning activities to read and write the Qur'an are considered satisfactory, as evidenced by the increase in the number of students who can read the Qur'an properly and correctly

    Abstract This paper examines the biography of Kyai Achjat Irsjad during his leadership in initiating and directing the NU Blambangan in 1944-1963. Kyai Achjat Irsjad's decision to establish the NU Blambangan was intended for the development of NU in the southern Banyuwangi. This study specifically writes about the arena of character, spiritual, and intellectual forging of Kyai Achjat Irsjad within the family, Islamic boarding schools and NU organizations. From the forging arena, Kyai Achjat Irsjad played a progressive role as a social, political and religious activist in Banyuwangi. The method used in this research is the Historical Method. The research data obtained from the Pegon Community, the memories of Kyai Achjat Irsjad's children, as well as supporting data in the form of scientific works. The results of the study found that Kyai Achjat Irsjad played an important role, some of which were in increasing access to education, performing the first edition of the Qur'an at the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, and strengthening the existence and influence of NU in southern Banyuwangi in the community

    Abstract The idea of ​​pesantren conflict resolution as a new perspective rise from a view that conflict does not only occur in society on a macro scale, but also affects the world of Islamic education, especially pesantren. At the same time, Kiai has a significant role in curative behavior and initiative to build a public trust in Bali the trigger for the peaceful development of Islam in Bali. Thus, the kiai's actions in conflict resolution through pesantren related to the global, regional and local areas. Conflicts in several islamic countries rises to a gloomy view of pesantren. The people in the West view that pesantren as a hotbed for terrorists. Research of pesantren in Buleleng and Tabanan shows that people have a less understanding about  pesantren, so they show the understanding of anti-tolerance and anti-globalization. Those view based on the behavior of non-mainstream who seem closed and do not adapt to the local culture in Bali. They view related to a rigid of Islamic view that different from them as heresy and even infidels. This is evidenced by the case of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat's of several people in Buleleng. The existence of pesantren are closely related to strategic environment, both global, national and local. In the global perspective, pesantren received international attention. In 2016, the Bali Bina Insani was visited by ministres of an international congress on tolerance. They understood that the values ​​of pesantren are directly related to the mission of world peace developement by the United Nations (UN). The tolerance developed by pesantren is being the antidote of conflicts in Islamic countries and other countries in the world

    Abstract The limitations of children in conveying their wishes are one of the things that causes temper tantrums. The family environment becomes the place for children's temper tantrum interactions.  Temper tantrums cannot occur if the child is alone, temper tantrums occur because of interactions.  This study aims to explain the implementation of Islamic religious education in handling temper tantrums in children.  In this study, the qualitative approach was used, with locations in Purworejo Hamlet, Kalipait Village, Tegaldlımo District, Banyuwangi Regency. To collect data, the observation method and document analysis were used. In testing the validity of the data, it was measured using the triangulation technique of sources and techniques.  Data analysis was carried out by the steps of data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and data verification.  Parents give Kasıh love, attention and also Islamic religious education for their children, and this is done repeatedly every day.  The implementation of Islamic religious education taught by parents to children has the effect of reducing the child's temper tantrum significantly. Children slowly understand their responsibilities, abilities and children also feel good love and enough attention from parents and the environment.  The result of the implementation of Islamic religious education applied to children in handling temper tantrum behavior in children is experiencing a decrease in temper tantrums committed by children

    Abstract: The family has a leading and strategic role in the formation of a child's personality, basic character or character. Islam places the family as the first and first basic educational institution. So great and the magnitude of the influence of the family in the education of children, so that Rasulullah SAW connected it with the values ​​of faith. Parents have the first and foremost responsibility in the education of their children. Children are seen as a tabula rasa, where parents are responsible for developing them, both in terms of language development, cultural traditions, and moral beliefs and practices. It is parents who play a role in developing good character in the lives of their children later in life. Ethical education, dialogue and assignment to educate children are excellent and effective methods of implementation. Children are a gift from God who will later grow up independent and free from parental supervision, therefore children must be equipped with strong faith and firm rules in carrying out their lives later. In general, parents and educators only make psychology books or parenting books for guidance in educating children. Rarely do they make the Al-Quran and Sunnah as a reference in implementing education. Islam is a religion of rahmatan lil alamin which has specific methods and methods for improving and educating children. The way of educating is of course adapted to the age level and maturity of the child's thinking. The conclusion from the results of the research that the author conducted shows that the concept of educating children with ethics, dialogue and giving assignments from an Islamic education perspective can be relevant not only in the family environment but also in the school and community environment
