Wireless communication is one of the fastest-growing research fields, with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) increasingly deployed as mobile router points in high-traffic areas such as bus stations, metro stations, and airport terminals to address connectivity challenges. However, despite their utility, UAVs face significant security and privacy risks. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of these vulnerabilities through a systematic four-level classification: sensor, communication, software, and hardware. For each level, we examine (1) common weaknesses exploitable by malicious actors, (2) potential threats to civilian UAV applications, (3) active and passive attacks compromising security and privacy, and (4) possible countermeasures to mitigate such risks. Additionally, we summarize key findings on UAV security and privacy issues and highlight critical unresolved challenges. Finally, we propose future research directions, including the use of fuzzy logic to optimize drone routing by dynamically relocating UAVs to low-activity zones based on fuzzy rule-based decisions

Cotton buds are commonly used to clean ears, although improper use can be harmful to ear health by causing cerumen impaction. Cerumen is a natural substance that normally exits the ear canal on its own but can accumulate due to cotton bud use, leading to hearing problems. This study aims to examine the relationship between cotton bud use and the incidence of cerumen impaction in patients at the ENT Polyclinic of PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Bantul, considering the high prevalence of this condition in Indonesia. This research used a cross-sectional design and collected data through questionnaires from 65 patients at the ENT clinic. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25 with chi-square and Fisher’s exact tests. Results showed that 86.2% of patients used cotton buds up to 2/3 of the inner ear canal. There was no significant relationship between the depth of cotton bud use and the incidence of cerumen impaction (p = 0.483). However, there was a significant relationship between the frequency of cotton bud use (> 1 time a week) and cerumen impaction in both ears (p = 0.032). Patients who frequently used cotton buds had a higher incidence of cerumen impaction compared to those who used them rarely. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the frequency of cotton bud use and the incidence of cerumen impaction

From a normative-legal perspective, decisions of the Constitutional Court are deemed final and binding from the moment they are pronounced in a public plenary session. However, in practice, the implementation of Constitutional Court decisions often sparks controversy within Indonesia's Constitutional System. Building on this, the author is interested in conducting further research on the issues surrounding the execution of Constitutional Court decisions concerning the position of the Constitutional Court as a judicial maker and efforts to optimize the implementation of Constitutional Court decision execution to create legal certainty. This research employs a normative juridical method, which involves correlating library research with relevant legislation to obtain data on the problems in the implementation of Constitutional Court decision execution and solutions to overcome the barriers. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that there are factors influencing the implementation of Constitutional Court decisions, including the limited authority of the Constitutional Court, the absence of specialized enforcement agencies, the lack of implementation timeframes, the insufficient consequences for violating decisions, and the potential increase in compliance costs. Efforts to optimize the execution of Constitutional Court decisions to create legal certainty include revising relevant laws to grant greater authority to the Constitutional Court and establishing enforcement units to ensure institutional compliance with Constitutional Court decisions. Multicollinearity problem-solving with Jackknife Ridge Regression: A case study on slum conditions in Bone Bolango

Slum conditions in Indonesia, particularly in Gorontalo Province's Bone Bolango District, are a significant challenge to sustainable development. This research aims to identify the key factors contributing to slum conditions in the strategic economic areas of Kabila, Suwawa, and Tilongkabila using Jackknife Ridge Regression (JRR) analysis to address multicollinearity and overfitting issues. Data from the Regional Development Planning Board (BAPPEDA) Bone Bolango District's 2023 document was used, with a sample of 40 urban villages and villages. The result showed that there is a high collinearity between two independent variables, necessitating the use of JRR. The JRR model identified seven independent variables significantly related to slum value. The regression model explained 83% of the variability in slum conditions. This study provides methodological depth through the JRR framework, which enables accurate slum analysis where traditional models (like OLS) tend to fall short. It emphasizes the need for Bone Bolango to prioritize its policy initiatives by focusing on the seven independent variables. Additionally, the framework demonstrates scalability, making it adaptable to other Indonesian provinces that face similar challenges with slum data

Comparing the performance of DTID3 and DTID3-Smote methods in predicting the rain events with unbalanced classes

Prediction of rainfall events in a region is important for many aspects of life. However, the majority of datasets that predict rainfall events have an unbalanced distribution of observations in their classes, including the Prabumulih city dataset, South Sumatra. DTID3 provides very satisfactory performance in many cases of prediction, while the Smote technique is useful for balancing the distribution of data classes.  This study aims to compare the performance of the DTID3 and DTID3-Smote methods in predicting rainfall events in Prabumulih City.  The main contribution of this study compared to previous studies is that the DTID3 and Smote methods are used together to predict rainfall events, especially in Prabumulih City. Using training data from 2017-2022 and test data from 2023, the results show that the DTID3-Smote method has a better performance measure than the decision tree method in predicting rainfall events in Prabumulih City. In the decision tree method, the accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, and f1-score metrics are 73.56%, 81.91%, 50.94%, 91.22%, and 62.81%, respectively. In the decision tree-SMOTE method, the values are respectively 74.66%, 82.61%, 53.44%, 91.22%, and 64.9%
