Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Helvetia Medan
Full text linkThe number of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients in Indonesia was 5,6 million people in 2001 and if increased to 9 million people in 2014. The data from Medan Health Service revealed that the number of DM patients was 27,075 people in 2013 and it was 3,607 people only from January to February 2014. The objective of the research was to analyze the correlation of family support, viewed from the dimensions of empathy/emotion, recognition, instrumental, and information with the life quality of DM type 2 patients at Helvetia Health Center, Medan. The research was a survey with a cross-sectional design. The population was 43 DM Type 2 patients, and all of them were used as the samples. The data were gathered by using questionnaires and analyzed by using univariate, analysis, bivariate analysis with chi-square test at the significance level of 95%. The result of the research showed the there was the correlation of family support with the dimensions of empathy/emotion, recognition, instrumental, and information with the life quality of DM type 2 patients. It is recommended that Helvetia Health Center, Medan, empower health care providers in providing health promotion like education and counseling for DM Type 2 patients and their familiar. The patient familiar should pay serious attention and give information about DM in order that DM Type 2 patients can improve their life quality and will be able to accept their own condition patiently in medication and their own lif
Prediksi Kadar Glukosa Darah Terhadap Mortalitas Pasien di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan
Full text linkIntroduction: Blood glucose levels are important in the human body because to support health so that they can do work activities properly. The initial action in patients with blood glucose levels who experience a head injury determines the outcome in the hospital. Patients who cannot maintain their blood glucose levels within the first 24 hours of treatment can cause a bad outcome, in the end, even increasing the mortality rate due to blood glucose levels. Aims: This study aims to analyze the predictions of blood glucose levels on patient mortality at H. Adam Malik Hospital in Medan. Methods: In this study, the authors used observational analytic with a retrospective cohort study design. The population in this study were all patients with high blood glucose levels who suffered head injuries in the Emergency Room (IGD) of H. Adam Malik Hospital in Medan and used purposive sampling so that 40 patients selected for high blood glucose levels with a head injury. Results: Based on the tabulation result using chi-square test shows that mortality was more prone to occur in patients who had blood glucose levels> 145 mg/dl with p-value 0.00 and odds ratio of 0.18. Conclusion: So in conclusion, a severe head injury patients who have blood glucose levels > 145 mg/dl are prone to death but do not deny mortality in patients who have blood glucose levels <145 mg/dl due to a severe head injur
Hubungan Riwayat Sectio Caesarea dengan VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean) di Klinik Bersalin Hj. Rismala S Kisaran
Full text linkVBAC is the promotion of vaginal delivery in women who have undergone a previous caesarean section. About 75% of mothers have had caesarean section at the next labor. At the Maternity Clinic Hj. Rismala. S The range of events in the history of cesarean section with VBAC was 30 people from 335 normal deliveries.To find out the relationship between sectio caesarea and VBAC at the Maternity Clinic Hj. Rismala. S Kisaran in 2018, The study was conducted using a cross-sectional research method with Chi Squer test with a total sample of 30 mothers conducted in July 2018. From the results of the study of 30 samples, it was found that there was no relationship between Age and VBAC both from the age group at risk of 51.9% and the age group who were not at risk 41.9% with OR (0.464). And there is no relationship between parity and VBAC, where mothers with multiparous partasas in the successful group have 50% while in the unsuccessful group 50% with OR (1,000).With the conclusion that there is no relationship between age and VBAC and there is no relationship between parity and VBAC based on data obtained from the Hj Maternity Clinic medical record. That results obtained according to age and parity are not the main considerations because there are other factors that need to be known but not examined by researchers such as uterine incision type, history of rupture, number of previous caesarean deliveries, indications of uterus and complication at the time of delivery which makes the midwife have to make a reference for Sectio Caesarea at the hospital
Pengaruh Sistem Pengamanan Data Pasien di Rumah Sakit Menuju Era Revolusi Industri 4.0
Full text linkEra digital saat ini adalah periode pembangunan yang sangat dinamis termasuk layanan kesehatan, terutama dalam mengakses dan menyebarkan data tentang layanan kesehatan. Studi dokumen pendahuluan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa keamanan data pasien tidak sepenuhnya terjaga di era digital ini, dapat disebabkan oleh perilaku petugas kesehatan, juga dapat disebabkan karena pengambilan data secara ilegal melalui sistem internet. Kondisi ini saat ini tidak didukung oleh kebijakan terpadu, oleh karena itu sebuah studi kebijakan yang mengintegrasikan sistem keamanan data pasien di era Industri 4.0. Metode penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka, dimana dokumen kebijakan yang relevan akan dilacak dan dianalisis secara integral maka dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang mendukung hasil penulisan artikel ini. Studi ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa salah satu peraturan bidang kesehatan hanya menyebutkan istilah data elektronik sebagai salah satu jenis data pasien, akan tetapi tidak mengatus system kemanannya yaitu Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 269 tahun 2008 tentang Pemanfaatan Rekam Medik. Sistem keamanan data digital pasien dapat dikaitkan dengan data elektronik secara tegas di atur dalam Undang-undang Nomor 11 tahun 2008 Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik. Perilaku Konsumsi Buah Dan Sayur Pada Anggota Rumah Tangga
Full text linkKurangnya perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur dapat merugikan kesehatan sehingga mengalami kekurangan nutrisi seperti vitamin, minareal, serat dan zat gizi lainnya yang berisiko terhadap penyakit degeneratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur pada anggota rumah tangga di Desa Sukau Datang Kecamatan Lebong Sakti Kabupaten Lebong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain study cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 252 anggota rumah tangga yang diperoleh secara simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan frekuensi anggota rumah tangga yang perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayurnya kurang dibawah 5 porsi sehari dalam seminggu sebesar 72,6%. Faktor yang berhubungan signifikan dengan perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur pada anggota rumah tangga adalah ketersediaan buah dan sayur, harga dan faktor yang memiliki hubungan paling kuat adalah variabel keberadaan makanan khas lokal. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan, sikap dan jumlah anggota keluarga.
