A Study of Cunningham Bounds Through Rogue Primes
A sequence of prime numbers {p, 2p+1, 4p+3,...,2n-1(p+1)-1} is called a Cunningham chain. These are finite sequences of prime numbers, for which each element is a Sophie Germain prime. It is conjectured that there are arbitrarily large such Cunningham chains, and these chains form an essential part of the study of Sophie Germain primes. In this paper, we aim to significantly improve existing bounds for the length of Cunningham chains by considering their behaviour in the framework of what we will define as rogueness

Disruptive and Familiar Futures of Experiential Learning Theory and High Impact Practices : Synthesizing and building on current schools of thought.
This essay responds to and extends an interview with David Kolb, Alice Kolb, and George Kuh who discussed their definitions, research, and foundations of Experiential Learning Theory and High Impact Practices. I describe how the profound influence of ELT and HIPs have effectively disrupted higher education. I observed that institutions are operationalizing ELT and HIPs at an increasing pace without an updated, shared definition, leaving space for a collective agenda to emerge. I conclude with a call for further engagement with key questions and for scholars and practitioners to build the agenda of experiential and engage learning in meaningful and sustainable ways
Film Review: To Enjoy Our Cherry Pie in Community: A Commentary on Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori by Jōji Shimura
Produced in 2006, and never formally released outside of Japan, Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori - otherwise known as Animal Forest: The Movie - follows the journey of Ai, a young girl who transplants herself to a new town in hopes of finding her talent and goal (her cherry pie). Along the way, she experiences the highs and lows of finding an identity, a sense of purpose, and belonging in a new space. Throughout her time, she wrangles with the journey of acceptance that the grandness of life requires the acceptance that she is not the main character in other people’s lives, as they have their own dreams and cherry pies. In turn, she realizes she is an interdependent element of her new community whereby she sees the greatness in others, others see the greatness in her, and she sees the greatness in herself. As a film modeled after Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS, it encapsulates familiar, nostalgic feelings fans of the franchise experience as they learn to find their cherry pie, identity, and belonging through life simulation
Media Representation of the Central Park Five in New York City
This essay explores the impact of media representation of the Central Park Five. This unfortunate case led to the unjustified incarceration of minority youths. This archival research focuses on analyzing prior and present media representations of this case. This essay argues that the media had an impact on public opinion regarding this case and that politics and racial climate also share an impact of media narration regarding this case. It is gathered that older articles criticized the youths rather than questioning the wrongdoings of the New York Police Department and court system. While most of the more recent articles discuss the injustices these children faced and the urge for criminal justice reform
“This Happened in a Matter of a Single Generation”: New York to Chico, the Life of Civil War Veteran Charles H. Lindsley, 1841-1932
This is a paper written by a history graduate student. Their faculty mentor was Professor Michael Magliari. Though formatted slightly differently for this journal, the style guide used for this paper was Kate L. Turabian’s Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, which is typical of papers in this discipline and utilizes footnotes
