As Karina Mora, a first-gen Chicana, wraps up her first year in college, she reflects on her experiences through the lens of her ethnic intersectionality and first-gen struggles in and out of the academic setting. She acknowledges the challenges many first-generation students have to overcome while honoring all the sacrifices made on all parts to get her to where she is today.
