    Completed in 1955, Fraser was the College’s main library from 1956 to 1966, when Milne Library was completed. Fraser Hall is named after Bertha Paine Fraser, who was one of the first two women appointed to Geneseo Normal School’s Board of Visitors (precursor of the College Council).     Photograph of construction of Lauderdale Student Health Center at SUNY Geneseo. Inside of building on ground floor. South end looking north. Pictured are the backs of two men hunched over a drawing table. Lauderdale Health Center was constructed 1965-1966. The building is named in honor of two Geneseo physicians: Dr. Walter Lauderdale, Sr. (1806-1893), who was a member of Geneseo Normal School\u27s original Board of Visitors and served from 1871 to 1893, and his son, Dr. Walter Lauderdale, Jr. (1850-1933), who served on the Board of Visitors from 1894 to 1933.
