The Effectiveness of the Symbolic Modeling Method Helped by Profession Cartoon Puppet Media Against Language Skills and Storytelling Skills
No full textTeachers are required to be able to apply creative and innovative learning methods by utilizing media so that they can help develop students' language skills and storytelling skills. This study aims to determine the effect, learning completeness, and average difference of the symbolic modeling method assisted by professional cartoon puppet media on language skills and storytelling skills. Data collection methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were processed the Manova test, learning completeness test, average difference test, and N-Gain Score test. The results showed the symbolic modeling method assisted by professional cartoon puppet media had an effect on language skills and storytelling skills, in terms of the multivariate test table and the table test of between subject effects on the manova test with each Sig. 0.000 0.05. The learning completeness test obtained a sig value. 0.002 on language skills and Sig. 0.032 on storytelling skills, because the value of Sig. 0.05, it was concluded that the percentage of students who got posttest scores ≥ 75 was more than 75%. The average difference test obtained sig. 0.039 on language skills and sig. 0.001 on storytelling skills, because the value of Sig. 0.05 concluded that there is a difference in the mean of the two groups. The average N-Gain Score test is 0.71 for language skills, which is included in the high category, which means that interpretation is quite effective, and 0.67 for storytelling skills, which is included in the medium category, which means that interpretation is quite effectiv
The Impact of School Management Misconceptions on Student Encouragement of Student Acceptance in Primary Schools
No full textThe phenomenon of schools closing or being merged seems to be accepted by the public, but internally it is one of the failures of school management in maintaining the continuity of education. This research aims to explore school strategies to restore public trust through improving the quality of education. The methods used are the critical method, dialectical method, and scholastic method. This research is included in library research. The author tries to find data, and theories related to the issues raised in various literature or references that the author finds and then compares them using the method mentioned above. The research results show that management misconceptions are caused by various deficiencies ranging from lack of understanding to low managerial competence of school principals, which has an impact on the low quality of output, resulting in low public enthusiasm for the school. The efforts made by the school are expected to be comprehensive, both internal and external, including, 1) strengthening the learning community in the school. This community can be used as an effort to strengthen the competency of all human resources in the school, starting from the principal, teachers, and education staff. ; 2) creating a comfortable school ecosystem, comfortable not only for students but also for teachers and educational staff at the school; 3) collaboration with people and society, an effort that is no less important than the others, because this effort is like a double-edged sword, the context is to work together to improve the process and understanding of the quality measures of educational outcomes

Idiomatic Expression in Song Lyrics from Arianna Grande Album Positions
No full textA song is a literary work that can describe a person's feelings. Many songwriters write the song lyrics according to the feelings they felt at the time. This research aims to (1) classify the types of idiom expressions that were found in song lyrics of the album Positions by Arianna Grande. (2) find out the dominant types of idiom expression found in song lyrics of album Positions by Arianna Grande's. (3) identify the meaning of idiom expression found in song lyrics of album Positions by Arianna Grande. This research is included in qualitative descriptive research. Researchers have implemented several steps, are a follows: downloading all songs of album Positions from website, searching te scripts lyrics songs, listening to the songs as data for the research been carefully, finding the idiomatic expression in Positions album by Arianna Grande, classifying the idiomatic expression based on the types, finding the idiomatic meanings in Positions album by Arianna Grande. The result of the analysis, the researcher found 16 songs that used the idiomatic expression 22 songs used the types of idiomatic expression phrasal verb. Then, the researcher found 8 songs that used the types of idiomatic expression, preposition verb. In addition, the researcher found 9 songs types of idiomatic expression that used partial idioms. The researcher concluded a percentage: phrasal verb (56.40%), preposition verbs (20.50%), and partial idioms (23.10%). The dominant type of idiomatic expression used in the "Position" album was the phrasal verb type, with the highest percentage of 56.40%

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mempermudah laporan keuangan arus kas pada TT Coffee dan Resto yang masih berjalan secara manual, menggunakan software Microsoft visual code dan database mysql berbasis client server. Laporan pembukuan yang masih manual tentu saja menjadi hambatan sendiri untuk admin dan pemilik restoran. Maka dibuatlah Sistem Pembukuan berbasis Website untuk Restoran yang dapat menyimpan detail transaksi yang sedang atau sudah berjalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall yang terdiri dari requirement analysis dan defition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing, dan operation and maintenance. Dalam desain sistem, penelitian ini melalukan pembuatan flowchart diagram, use case diagram, activity diagram,sequence diagram, dan class diagram. Kemudian diimplementasikan dengan bahasa pemrograman Framework PHP menggunakan database MySQL. Pada penelitian ini, hasil dari validasi ahli menggunakan skala Likert yang didapatkan dari hasil rata-rata persentase kedua validator konten, yaitu sebesar 88% dan rata-rata persentase kedua validator media sebesar 87% sehingga Sistem Pembukuan berbasis Website untuk Restoran dinyatakan "sangat layak" untuk digunakan.Kata kunci: Sistem Pembukuan, waterfall,PHP MySql

No full textThe background of this research is the low ability of class IX A student at SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung in writing descriptive text aboaut traditional ceremonies and delivering material that is still conventional and monotonous, so that learning becomes passive and boring. Seeing such conditions, it is necessary to strive for the application of interesting and appropriate learning media so that it can facilitate students in expressing their ideas, and feelings, especially in writing descriptive texts. Thus the formulation of the problem that can be taken in this study is how to apply Google Sites media in learning to write descriptive texts about traditional caremonies in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung. In addition, there is a research objective is to describe the application of Google Sites media in learning to write descriptive texts about traditional ceremonies in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung.This research is included in the descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study used test techniques in the form of knowledge and skills aspect questions as well as non-test techniques in the form of questionnaires.The results of this study are that Google Sites media can be applied in learning to write descriptive texts about traditional ceremonies in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung. These results can be proven by the average value of students who achieve 92 in terms of knowledge aspects with a total of 19 students who complete. Meanwhile, from the aspect of skills, an average score of 87 was obtained with a total of 19 students who passed
A Good Result for Blowfish Image Encryption Based on Stepic
No full textInformation security is important in the era of evolving communications. Security methods are needed to protect data. Strong cryptographic algorithms, such as Blowfish, developed by Bruce Schneier in 1993, offer fast and reliable encryption. Blowfish uses 64 bit blocks and key lengths between 32 and 443 bits. This algorithm is famous for its robustness and encryption speed, with a Feistel Network structure and 16 rounds. This research implements Blowfish with Python and integrates it with steganography to insert secret data in digital images. Evaluation involves metrics such as Mean Squared Error (MSE), Peak-Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Average Visibility (AVA), Uniform Average Change Intensity (UACI), and Percentage Pixel Change Value (NPCR) to measure quality and reliability encryption and decryption process by Blowfish
Analysis of Listen Before Talk Protocol Implementation in Terrestrial Network Using Multi-Node LoRa Communication
No full textWireless communication today plays a very important role in technological development but often faces challenges in terms of reliability and quality of data transmission; this study implements the Listen Before Talk (LBT) protocol in the terrestrial network environment through Multi-Node LoRa communication to test its effectiveness in avoiding packet loss ending the quality of communication in variations of the land environment. Test results showed that LBT effectively produced zero percentage packet loss at 50 to 500 meters. At the same time, LoRa devices could maintain communication quality even though the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value decreased with the distance. The findings provide positive indications of the potential of LBT protocols inning data transmission integrity in terrestrial environments and foster the development of reliable and high-quality wireless communications in complex ground network environments
Analysis of Inventory Control of Perishable Goods with Capital Constraints and Warehouse Capacity Using the Lagrange EOQ Method (Case Study UD. XYZ)
No full textInventory control is a company policy in managing goods in order to optimize the number of orders and minimize inventory costs. The object of this research is PT XYZ in Gresik city which produces tempeh and tofu. Several raw materials are needed in the production process, one of which is soybeans. As the main raw material for making tempeh and tofu, soybeans are perishable goods. Previously, the company used a method based on past usage data in controlling its inventory, resulting in bloated inventory costs and a buildup of raw materials in the warehouse. Therefore, researchers need a method that is economical and takes into account the limitations of the company. The Lagrange EOQ method is a model that measures the order quantity by looking at one or more restrictions. The results of the Lagrange EOQ method get an order quantity of 20 sacks of soybeans with an order frequency of 27 times a year, a total inventory cost of Rp. 665,575, an ROP of 12 sacks and a safety stock of 10 sacks

No period after the keywordsABSTRAKLatar belakang kegiatan Pengabdian ini bahwa siswa di SMP N 2 Riau Silip belum mengetahui tentang model latihan coaching clinic sepakbola dan juga belum terorganisir pola latihan yang baik sehingga siswa melaksanakan latihan hanya sebatas hobi tanpa adanya bimbingan dari seorang ahli maupun pelatih. Coaching Clinic sepakbola merupakan salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang benar kepada para pemain sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain sepakbola. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa demonstrasi dan latihan. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan merupakan siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler sepakbola yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di SMP N 2 Riau silip merasa antusias dan senang selama mengikuti kegiatan yang dilakukan dari awal hingga akhir. Selain itu para siswa juga semakin memahami tentang cara melakukan teknik dasar sepakbola seperti menggiring bola, mengoper dan mendangan ke gawang dengan benar
