Long memory in the Hybrid Time Series

    Get PDF
In this paper, consideration is given to the assessment of the availability of long-term memory in a time series with variable coefficients that depend on the Markov chain or the continuous Markov process. In the work we succeeded in establishing sufficient conditions for the present of a long-term memory based on a multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis and a Geweke – Porter-Hudak method. A real example is analysed of the Erste Group in the period 07.01.2000 – 23.10.2017, as a result of which it was possible to prove that this company.&nbsp

    Get PDF
With the development of the market economy, the trade union work has become increasingly complex. As a special group, trade union chairman plays multiple roles. On the one hand, the trade union chairman should safeguard the rights and interests of enterprise employees, on the other hand, as the workers of the enterprise, they have to create benefits for the enterprise, this kind of dual role trigger a trade union chairman role conflict. In this paper, through reviewing the relevant literature, from the personal angle of the trade union chairman, trade union chairman of role conflict from three dimensions divided responsibility, time, interests. Through the division of the three dimension classifying trade union chairman of role conflict, and explain the causes of different types of role conflict and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, so as to eliminate the role of the trade union chairman conflict, give full play to the role of the trade union chairman

Macro Variables Impact on Credit Risk and Influence in Banking Capital and Job Cuts in Romania

    Get PDF
The scope of the research paper is to capture the connection between the representative macro-economic variables, gross domestic product, gross salary income, exchange rate EUR/RON, active interest rate and unemployment rate, respectively the variables which quantify the credit risk, non-performing loans rate and credit risk rate. For the quantitative analysis we used the VAR econometric models, the study being completed with a qualitative analysis which observes the influence in the credit institutions capital and the available jobs in the financial-banking system. The results obtained showed a considerable influence of the exchange rate, gross salary income and interest rate on the credit risk rate, while the non-performing loans rate was mostly influenced by the interest rate and gross salary income. The qualitative analysis exposed that at global level the losses registered in the banking sector were about 1.2 trillion USD, while the new capital raised was about 1 trillion USD and almost 390 thousand job cuts. In the Romanian banking sector, the study illustrates cumulated losses of 13.3 billion lei, compensated by an increase in capital at about 21 billion lei and restructuring of about 15 thousand jobs. The results obtained have both practical applicability, but also in the economic policies, clearly exposing the effects of the credit risk through the deterioration of the macro-economic environment. The information presented through the empirical analysis can be used by the researches, supervision and regulatory authorities or by the credit institutions in stress testing, forecasts or resolution decisions

Fitting in a Blended Learning Educational System

Scholarship-holders have more pressure than regular students (keeping a GPA ≥3.5/4, managing financial stress, and completing some scholarship’ duties). The research intends to determinate the significant self-regulatory and technological variables that help scholarship-holders (N=402) in a blended learning environment to reach a high GPA and avoid learning burnout. A validated online survey was employed to collect data that were analyzed using descriptive, inferential, and predictive statistical tests under a quantitative research method. It was found that discipline (p=0.000); self-efficacy (p=0.018); task management (p=0.043); goal setting (p=0.021), task persistence (p=0.004) and previous ICT experience (p=0.033) were statistically significant. Regardless limitations, some practical implications are discussed for the scholars

A Study on Effect of Trust, Relationship Commitment on Collaboration-Orientation (3C's), Performance and Satisfaction - Focused on Communication, Cooperation and Coordination

    Get PDF
Although most prior studies have presented the collaborative process through a literature review, we have investigated the causality of the 3Cs process based on empirical studies. A total of 327 valid questionnaires were examined using frequency, descriptive statistics, and correlation analyses and structured equation modelling. Trust and relationship commitment among SMEs were found to be factors affecting the process of collaboration (3C's: communication, cooperation, and coordination). The process of collaboration (3C's) affects performance and satisfaction. The performance showed that satisfaction. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need to establish trust and mutual relationship in advance for the collaboration process, and thereafter, it is necessary to build a strategy for accomplishing task performance and performance and gradually concentrate the limited resources of SMEs through the process of collaboration

WHAT ARE MASCULINIST VALUES IN ORGANISATIONS?

Managing Diversity effectively is often a fruitful process in the management of contemporary enterprises. However, some might argue that much of the literature neglects to acknowledge the masculinist values that pervade organisations. What are masculinist values in organisations? Critically evaluate how they might impede the quality of working life and career ambitions of female employees?

A symmetric model of prime number placement by dual cord at the half line of the Inverse Fixed cone at 1:3 Pythagoras , in a fixed numbers matrix

    No full text
To put the proverbial cart before the horse this mathematics needs no proofs as the proofs are in the matrix of the presentation . The proof of the oscillation of the prime numbers at the half line is proved by a pure mathematics placement sieve that has been worked till 50 thousand Prime numbers and yet to be programmed as two distinct placement values of prime numbers that are symmetric with two cords of prime numbers ( Mathematically it is impossible to have oscillation of prime numbers, without two defined cords, a single cord cannot oscillate , and there has to be a mathematically well defined half-line). The proof of the two cords presented in this paper is clear by several methods including a new quadratic algebra which is foreign to current mathematics. The symmetry between these two placements of prime numbers by two cords and oscillations at the half line are synergistically symmetric and as such symmetry across a half line is absolute proof in mathematics. The authors have shown a single mode of symmetry by the sieve and placement of prime numbers by dual cords , in a placement order of numbers at an inverse cone at -1. Mathematics is the mother of science , and before there was matter there was space , that space is mathematically rational and this rationality is described here in the form of a fixed inverse cone at -1 that allows for the finite spherical expansion of the cone. Mathematically the zero has to be -1 and not null zero for any space to be expansible , and it is obvious the universe of mathematics is expansible and curved .It is shown that prime numbers have a symmetrical placement in the expansion of numbers placement at a half line , as these numbers do indeed hug the half line as clearly shown by the precise mode. The mathematical fact of oscillation of the two cords of prime numbers , in a spiral configuration is suggested in this mathematical analysis. It is clearly shown that prime number 5 is the base configuration and the rest of the numbers continuum follows this configuration, as there is clear evidence that Prime numbers are placed at the half line of an inverse cone 1:3 , and that half line is constant at value 3 and multiples of 3 at the configuration of prime number 5 which has been explained . Also explained is the tight fit of the inverse cone and the mathematical fact that the inverse cone in its expression represents a perfect sphere, with periodic expression of the 3+ Pi digits derived at the slope of the Pythagoras 1:3 ( value √10). Lastly the base prime numbers shape and control all the manifestations of space and speed , and energy as expressed by their inverse curves. That aspect is far too complex for current mathematics and is not discussed in this paper

The Edge Version of Degree Based Topological Indices of HAC5C6C7[p, q] Nanotube

    Get PDF
Let G be a simple molecular graph with vertex set V (G) and edge set E(G) respectively. The degree deg(v) of the vertex v 2 V (G) is the number of vertices adjacent with vertex v. A graph can be recognized by a numeric number, a polynomial, a sequence of numbers or a matrix. A topological index is a numeric quantity associated with a graph which characterize the topology of graph and is invariant under graph automorphism. Topological indices play important role in mathematical chemistry especially in the quantitative structurepropertyrelationship (QSPR) and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) studies. In this paper we compute the edge version of some important degree based topological indices like Augmented Zagreb Index, Hyper-Zagreb Index, Harmonic Index and Sum-Connectivity Index of HAC5C6C7[p, q] Nanotube
