Pengukuran Dan Pemodelan Serat Optik Dalam Kondisi Terpapar Sinar Matahari

Optical fiber is a transmission line or a type of cable made of glass fiber or plastic which is very fine and smaller than a strand of hair, and can be used to transmit light signals from one place to the recipient. Optical cables that float and hang openly exposed to sunlight, or are embedded exposed to burning rubbish cause additional attenuation which results in signal transmission which causes communication links to break. In this research, measurements and modeling were carried out of conditions assuming an increase in heat that occurred. These conditions are carried out on a laboratory scale. Optical isolation really protects the optical fiber. This modeling will predict the useful life of optical fiber which should be used in 30 years. The measurement results are tabulated and sorted so that the distribution of temperature increases is known

Seagrasses can live on muddy, sandy and broken coral or rock substrates. Seagrass ecosystems are often found in areas with thick sandy mud substrates. Seagrass beds are one of the aquatic ecosystems that have high water productivity, and have a vital role for the associated biota that live around them, both as a feeding ground, nursery ground, and spawning ground. The purpose of this study was to see the species composition and cover of seagrass species in the waters of Pandanan Hamlet, Sekotong, West Lombok. Seagrass data collection was carried out at low tide, using the line transect method by making the observation path into three replicates with a length of 100 m each, a distance of 50 m each transect. The 50 cm quadrat frame is placed on the right side of the transect with a distance of 10 m between one quadrant and the other so that the total quadrant on each transect is 11 quadrants. The results showed that the composition of seagrass species found in the waters of Pandanan Hamlet, Sekotong, West Lombok as many as 7 (seven) seagrass species, namely: S. isoetifolium, C. rotundata, E. acoroides, T. hemprichii, H. ovalis, H. uninervis and H. pinifolia with Seagrass Cover in the Waters of Pandanan Hamlet Sekotong, Lombok is included in the category of moderate and rare with the percentage of seagrass species S. isoetifolium (2.78%-9.36%), C. rotundata (1.39%-6.91%), E. acoroides (7.03%-14.75%), Thalassia hemprichii (2.31%-9.66%), H. ovalis (2.5%-0.98%), H. uninervis (0.038%) and H. pinifolia (4.64%). Prako Weir in East Lombok Regency has limited water availability, which affects its ability to serve the provision of irrigation water. Failure to meet irrigation water needs is increasingly felt, so adaptation steps are needed to reduce more significant losses at the farmer level. This study aims to evaluate the current cropping pattern and obtain alternative cropping patterns that are more appropriate according to water availability in Prako Weir to minimize the potential for farmer crop failure. The study began by analysing water availability by calculating the mainstay discharge using a ranking method using Prako Weir discharge data. Continued analysing water requirements in the current cropping pattern and several alternative cropping patterns using the KP-01 method. Furthermore, the best cropping pattern was selected using the water balance method. The results obtained were the best cropping pattern according to the water availability pattern in Prako Weir, namely Rice-Soybeans-Soybeans, which began planting in early October, with an annual water surplus of 775.24 l/second. Meanwhile, the current cropping pattern, Rice-Rice-Soybeans, shows an annual deficit of 625.31 lt/second. However, if economic considerations are used, then the current planting pattern is still acceptable even though it is at risk of being unable to meet its water needs. However, a solution can be taken by providing water in turns
