Jaringan Drainase Kawasan Sesela Kecamatan Gunung Sari
Sesela area is one of the areas in Gunung Sari district, West Lombok. In this Sesela area, there are puddles or floods that disturb the community, especially those in the area of Jati Sela Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the high rainfall, and the existing canal are still able to accommodate the flood discharge or not. In this study began with data collection namely primary data collection and secondary data collection. Then conduct data analysis, namely hydrological analysis and hydraulic analysis. Based on the results of hidrological analysis, the amaount of rain R2th was 86,298 mm and R5th was 108,642 mm. Based on the results of calculations with a 5 year return period  (R5th) comparison of the results obtained flood discharge is greatest at Griya Praja Asri canal is equal to 1,872 m³secâ»Â¹. While the calculation is based on 11 sections hydraulics existing canals, namely Johar Pelita canal, Griya Praja Asri canal, Pesona Raya 1 canal, Perum Elite Rinjani Asri canal, Pesona Raya 2 canal, Ireng Daye canal, Ireng Lauk 2 canal, Pesona Raya 3 canal, Jati Ireng canal, Ireng Lauk 1 canal, and Pesona Raya 4 canal almost all of them can not accommodate flood discharge, causing water overflow or puddles. To overcome the overflow of water that occurs in the canal, redimensions are carried out so that the canals can function optimally
Karakter Morfologi dan Identifikasi Molekuler dengan Menggunakan Marka Gen 12S rRNA pada Ikan Baronang (Siganus spp.) di Perairan Laut Selatan Pulau Lombok
This study aims to obtain the certainty of the number of species of baronang fish (Siganus spp.) Siganidae family in the waters of the south sea of Lombok Island. This study used a sample of 90 fish from the fishermen's catch. Sampling used a random method three times. Observation of morphological characters used 90 and nine fishes for molecular characters-12S rRNA genes. The study used a descriptive technique for data analysis. The results showed that the fish is only one species and suspected consists of 3 variants. Three variants of fish have the same 12S rRNA genes with a fragment size of approximately 1000 bp. The morphological classification of the three groups of fish does not indicate the number of species, but no more as genetic variants
Penambahan Level Ekstrak Wortel (Daucus carota) pada Pengencer Andromed Dalam Mempertahankan Kualitas Spermatozoa Sapi Bali pada Suhu 5 OC
A good diluents must have the ability to reduce the rate of decline in the quality of spermatozoa, by choosing the right diluents that is able to maintain the quality of spermatozoa. The addition of antioxidants is believed to be able to maintain spermatozoa life longer, one of which is the addition of carrot extract. The purpose of this study was to maintain the quality of Bali cattle spermatozoa stored at 5 0C by utilizing the quality of bali cattle spermatozoa because they contain antioxidants. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications, namely: P0 = cement + andromed, P1 = cement + andromed + 5 % carrot extract, P2 = cement + andromed + 10 % carrot extract, P3 = cement + andromed + 15 % carrot extract, P4 = cement + andromed + 20 % carrot extract. The variables measured were the quality of the spermatozoa microscopically, namely the motility and viability of the spermatozoa. The result showed that the increase in the level of carrot extract in andromed diluent in maintaining spermatozoa motility at 5 0C was not significant (P>0,05), meaning that each treatment had the same effect in maintaining spermatozoa motility. The percentage of motility in all treatments is feasible to be applied to the IB program because is still shows a value of more than 40 %.Â
Kalibrasi Persamaan Thornthwaite Dan Evaporasi Panci Untuk Memprediksi Evapotranspirasi Potensial Pada Daerah Dengan Data Cuaca Terbatas
Determination of irrigation channel dimensions is determined by the number of consumptive use values that are empirically determined by the potential evapotranspiration value (ETo). Due to the limited lysimeter measurement data, the ETo value is usually approached by an empirical method using weather data input. The recognized standard method for its reliability and can be used universally in determining ETo values is the FAO Penman-Monteith method. However, the use of this method is only possible if complete weather data is available. This study modified the simplest ETo calculation method, the Thornthwaite method and the evaporation pan method to obtain ETo values as accurate as FAO PM resulted. Callibrations are made by finding the correction number to get the best results shown by the high of correlation number and the efficiency index value. The results obtained are for the area with limited weather data condition, the Thornthwaite method both before and after calibration has better accuracy than the evaporation pan method. While the calibration carried out successfully increased the correlation number and efficiency index of both methods significantly. The results of the two calibrated methods, the Thornthwaite method provides better and satisfactory performance with a ratio between 0.86 and 0.89 and the efficiency index reaches 0.78
Analisis Kualitas Air Di Lahan Reklamasi Pertambangan Nikel Desa Mohoni, Petasia Timur, Morowali Utara
In Mohoni Village, East Petasia District, North Morowali Regency there are nickel mining activities that are carried out by PT. Asiamax Mining Indonesia. Several locations were mine out status. Hence, reclamation programs are made to improve environmental conditions before mining. One of these stages is water quality tests to ensure that the reclamation area is worthy to be a habitat for animals and plants. The purpose of this study is to find out the water quality in the reclamation area of the ex-nickel mining in Mohoni Village. The storet method is used to analyze water quality whose test parameters include pH, total suspanded solid (TSS), concentrations of copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), nickel (Ni), chromium valence 6, iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and cobalt (Co) once every three months for a year.The quality water check results are compared with the environmental quality standards in accordance with law number 32 of 2009. Based on the average monitoring results show that the water quality is classified as moderately polluted. This study aims to determine Heritability value of F1line of black rice characters result from pedigree selection. This research conducted by field experiment carried out at the research station of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram. Nyur Lembang Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, NTB Province from February to June 2018. This research empioyed Randomized Complete Blok Desing (RCBD) by 40 genotipes as treatments with replications, so there are 80 of experimental units. Observed data analized by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of research showed that high of heritability value gained from flowering age plant height, panicle length, number of grains filled, and weight of 100 grains. Low heritability criteria are shown by number of productive tillers, number of empty grains, weight of grains per clumpsand yield (ton.ha-1
Pengendalian Longsor di Daerah Desa Sumberharjo, Kecamatan Prambanan, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
The landslide occurred in area of Sumberharjo Village, Prambanan Subdistrict, Regency of Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province on 28th November 2018.The landslide area have a steep slope and complex geological conditions like a cracks. The closest settlement is located 8m far from the landslide area. The purpose of the research is to determine the vulnerability of landslide zonation level based on control and trigger factor and to design technique of controlling landslide area.The methodology used in this research are survey method and field mapping. Mapping method based on the control factor which has parameter like slope, soil texture, soil thickness, weathering of rock, infiltration capacity and land use. The rainfall level parameter as a trigger factor are analyzed by secondary data. Vulnerability of landslide zonation level zoning is obtained by the scoring method based on these parameters. Determination of slope engineering by taking 3 samples of soil for laboratory analysis. The soil sampling technique is purposive sampling which is based on slope and soil texture in landslide area. The laboratory results are used to calculate slope stability using the Janbu Method. All data obtained are analyzed based on environmental conditions. The research area has 3 landslide vulnerability zones: low vulnerability level with 2756,18 m2 of area, moderate vulnerability level with 61556,92 m2 of area, and high vulnerability level with 6298,90 m2 of area. The value of safety factor on landslide area is 0.94 which is classified as unstable. Lanslide management applied in area which has high vulnerability level on landslide area by making a bench that combined with gravity wall, surface drainage, and vegetation planting such as Jati and vertiver grass. The control effort increases the value of the slope safety factor to 1.3
Kajian Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Pada Tumpang Sari Tanaman Kelor-Selada Di Lahan Kering
Lettuce and Moringa are recently popular vegetable crops because their demand improves significantly, and their development lead to dry land because its potencial in Indonesia is still high. The use of dry land should be followed by applying inter cropping technique in order to make plant micro climate becomes more favourable. In addition, low soil fertility and intensive ussage of inorganic fertilizers makes the application of organic fertilizers imperative. The objective of the research is to investigate the type of organic fertilizer giving high yield of lettuce and moringa cultivated using inter cropping technique in dry land. The results showed that the organic fertilizers applied improved the plant growth and yield, and also improved the land equivalent ratio (LER). The highest LER was showed by apllication of Organox, followed by Bio Extrim and Biota Plus, and the lowest one showed by without organic fertilizer application
Efektivitas Sediaan Salep Limbah Kulit Singkong Sebagai Penyembuh Luka
The skin is an important organ that functions to receive stimuli such as touch, pain and other influences from the outside. Some problems that occur on the skin can becaused because the skin is very vulnerable to trauma and injury. Wound is a condition of the breakdown of tissue integrity caused by violence both mechanical, physical and chemical in nature. In general, wound care in the community is done with a dressing accompanied by compresses betadine and normal saline because these materials are easily available. However, long-term use of the dressing can cause slow wound healing and various infections can appear. This causes people to look for other alternative treatments, one of them with herbal plants, namely cassava plants have the potential to be used as a wound healing and is able to inhibit bacteria because they are suspected to contain phenolic compounds. This study was a true experimental study, the group of test animals was divided into 6 groups, after that the making of wounds and smeared with bacteria were given ointments with 3 concentrations namely 5%, 10%, and 15%. Ointment extract of cassava skin waste gives effect to the wound healing process seen from the length of the wound. The ethanol extract ointment which has a good effect on wound healing is an ointment with a concentration of 10% and 15%
Kajian Perubahan Ragam Genetik Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.) akibat Seleksi
This study aimed to determine the change in total genetic diversity after eight cycles of mass selection using a technique of selection index for yield, fresh dry matter, and weight of dry harvested cob, and to find out the average of these three characters compared to the initial population. This experiment was carried out at Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 11 treatments, namely eight selected populations, initial populations and two hybrid varieties. Each treatment was replicated 3 times, resulted in 33 experimental units. Data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance at 0.05 levels. Variance of phenotype is obtained from the variety of samples; while the environmental variance is defined as the average variance of the two hybrid phenotypes. Genetic diversity is obtained from the variety of phenotypes of each population minus the environmental diversity. F-test of 0.05 was performed to find out whether the genetic diversity of the eighth cycle population is the same or different to that of the genetic diversity of the initial population. The average between the initial population and the eighth cycle population was tested using the HSD-test at 0.05 levels. The results showed that the total genetic variation in the population from the eighth cycle selection for yield, harvested dry weight of cobs, and fresh dry matter of maize were smaller than the genetic diversity of the initial population. The average yield, harvested dry cob weight and fresh dry matter weight of population of the eighth cycle selection are higher than the initial populatio
