    Produktivitas Ayam Pedaging Pola Kemitraan di Kabupaten Lombok Barat

    ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the level of productivity of broilers in the partnership farm system in relation to the quality of feed  provided by partner companies. The research was conducted in 2 (two) stages; Phase I. Survey of  feeding system in partnership system of broiler farming in West Lombok. The parameters observed included: type of feed offered, the amount provided and frequency of feeding, harvest weight, and FCR. Phase II. Evaluation of the chemical composition of the diet used in partnership broiler farming system. The parameters observed included: the moisture, ash, protein, fat and  fiber. The data obtained were tabulated and discussed descriptively. Based on the survey results, there are 8 partnership companies, namely PT. MSJ, PT. BBB, PT. Samsung, PT. DMC, PT. BSS, PT. FMS, PT. KUS  and PT. PAL, and 6 types of feed used, namely S12, GM-PS, GM 1 EJ, Malindo, Wonokoyo, HD BR1 161. Average feed consumption is 3.24 kg / head / period, with weight gain of 2.10 kg / head / period, with the  FCR value of 1.54. Based on the results of the evaluation of the nutritional content, there is a mismatch, especially the  protein content which is lower (0.01%) as shown in the leaflet of the starter feed from Wonokoyo company.     Power generating units should be built closed to load centers according to electric power company regulation. These units are generally small in capacity, so that makes power transfer among inter- and outer-areas is easier to be done. This study aims to improve dynamic stability of a Micro Hydro Power Plant (MHPP) on perspective of 5% load increased in Diesel Power Plant (DPP). The DPP is equipped by an ANFIS-based Power System Stabilizer (PSS) in this scheme. Two inputs with Gauss2mf membership function (MF) type and 5-number of the each MF are used to implement the ANFIS model. Simulation results show that overshoot of MHPP power angle deviation is reduced to the values of 0.023, 0.0138 and 0.0132°, for the DPP without PSS, conventional and ANFIS PSS, respectively.  Also, reduction in setting time is achieved at times >6, 4.051 and 3.553 s. It is shown that the ANFIS PSS is more effective to enhance the dynamic stability compared to other PS

    Pruning on Moringa trees aims to increase branching that affects the increase in yield of leaf biomass, and is also routinely carried out with the aim of plant performance provides benefits for ease of maintenance and harvesting as well as the sustainability of production. This pruning study aims to determine the effect of high pruning on the yield of Moringa leaf biomass in the third year of the production cycle, has been carried out in rainfed lowland rice fields. Randomly block designed trials with high pruning as a single factor, namely pruning at a height of 25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm, and 100 cm from the ground, and was made in three replications. The results showed that the height of pruning had no significant effect on the yield of Moringa leaf biomass in the third year of the production cycle

     Bioconversion is one of the ways to treat organic waste (market abundance) which is a problem today, namely by utilizing microorganisms such as Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae as biodegradation agents. This study aims to study the life cycle of BSF in market waste media and to determine the potential of BSF larvae to break down market waste. This research was conducted for 8 months starting from the pre-study until the implementation of the study. The observation phases carried out in this study included 1) the life cycle of BSF in the chopped and non-chopped organic market waste media. 2) the potential of BSF larva / maggot in breaking down chopped and not chopped organic market waste. The results showed that the hatching process from eggs to larvae took three to four days. The larval phase which is still yellowish white lasts approximately 12 days, in this phase the larvae will need a lot of food. The prepupa phase occurs from the 19th day and the pupal phase is 100% achieved on the 24-26th day. Maggot has the ability to degrade market waste up to 84 ± 4.90% in market waste that is enumerated and around 69 ± 5.83% breaks down market waste that is not choppe

    Meetball is a common food in society and has good nutritional volue. Sword koro can be used as a binder besides having better quality and protein than tapioca flour. This study aims to determine the effect koro pedang flour to the nutritional value and organoleptic value f chicken meatballs. The method used in the study was a completely randomized designconsisting of 5 teatments and repeated 5 times, namely: KO (control), K1 (chicken meatballs + koro pedang flour 20%), K2 (chicken meatballs + koro pedang flour 25%), K3 (chicken meatballs + koro pedang flour 30%) and K4 (chicken meatballs + + koro pedang flour 35%). The variables measured ware the nutritional value or chemical composition (moisture content, ash content, fat content, and crure protein), and the organoleptic value of chicken meatballs with the addition of koro pedang flour (Canavalia Gladiante). Analysis of the data used the analysis of variance based on completely randomized design CRD), from the results of different analyzes followed by the LSD test. The results showed that the nutritional value showed very significant results or all treatments (K1,K2,K3 dan K4) were significantly different(P>0.01) for crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat and ash. Maenwhile, for the water content in this treatment, no significant results were found. The highest average value is shown in the K4 tretment for protein, crude fat, crude fiber and ash. The organoleptic value showed significant results (P<0.05) on the K1 treatment for taste, color, texture and acceptance.     Asphalt modification by adding fiber powder of banana stem can be implemented to improve the performance of pure asphalt. Asphalt concrete binder course AC-BC is a flexible pavement layer that functions to distribute the load towards the foundation layer. So it really needs strength, durability and stability of the materials. For that, it is necessary to use asphalt modification with fiber powder of banana stem which is used as a binding material in AC-BC asphalt concrete mixture. The proper percentage of modified asphalt level will determine the optimum quality of an asphalt mixture. Asphalt concrete specimens were made in 3 (three) samples for each variation of asphalt level by 5%; 5.5%; 6%; 6.5%; and 7%. The asphalt optimum level in the mixture is carried out through volumetric investigation in the form of VMA, VIM, and VFB values and mechanical assessment in the form of stability, flow and Marshall Quetient. The results of data analysis found that the value of VIM, stability and MQ tend to decrease with increasing levels of modified asphalt. On the other hand the value of VMA, VFB and flow tend to rise with increasing levels of modified asphalt. However, from the five variations of asphalt levels obtained asphalt levels of 5% and 5.5% which meet all the specifications of AC-BC asphalt concrete specification. To determine the asphalt optimum level, the average of qualified asphalt level is taken. So that the asphalt concrete AC-BC will produce a better structural performance at 5.25% asphalt level with banana stem fiber powder on asphalt by 0.1%

    Forest and land fires are disaster events that continue to recur every year. This study aims to determine patterns / trends in the occurrence of forest and land fires in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis and spatial analysis. The results showed that the occurrence of forest and land fires had the same pattern where the maximum peak of forest and land fires occurred in September. Another trend shown in the last five years is forest and land fires are fluctuative in which the frequency of events increases, the number of provinces affected also increases, but the area of land affected has an average of around 24.3% of the land area of Indonesia. Spatial analysis result shown the pattern of hotspot occurred in main province consist of Central Borneo, West Borneo, South Sumatera, Riau and Jambi.     Indonesia has nuclear technology which has 3 research reactors developed. The three reactors are Triga Mark II power of 250 kW, Kartini power reactor 100 kW and the largest reactor is Multipurpose Reactor G.A Siwabessy with 30 MW power. Based on the IAEA capacity of 30 MW is included in the second hazard category that has the potential of radiation distribution up to a radius of 5 KM. One of the efforts implemented is with the implementation of OHSAS 18001 on each work unit. In progress, evaluation should be carried out. The evaluation model used is Context evaluation model, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) according to Stufflebeam. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that is important to evaluate the application of OHSAS 18001 in support of BATAN preparedness. Data completion techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the context evaluation study indicate that OSH policy of PTKRN, PTLR, PRFN and PTRR work units get good value (100%). Evaluation of scores (inputs) from identification aspects of potential hazards, identification of rules, role resources and OSH programs are both good (91%). Evaluate the implementation (process) of aspects of training, monitoring and measurement, audit, and simulation of emergency response well (94%). Result evaluation (Product) for K3 culture aspect and zero accident result is good (81%). Thus the implementation of OHSAS 18001 in BATAN can support BATAN nuclear preparednes

    One of the factors that effect the productivity of honey bees is the factor of temperature and humidity of the nest or stup where the bees live.  A nest or stup with a maintened temperature and humidity will provide the bee comfort for live. This study discusses the effect of stup size design on the productivity honey bee of Trigona sp. This study used a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 3 stup design, namely: Horizontal, Vertical and Medium. Each design size consists of 4 replications, and each replication consists of 2 stup. Data were analyzed using by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's test at 95% confidence level. The parameters observed were number of egg cells and pollen, weight pollen, number of honey pots and volume of honey. The results of the analysis showed that production of the medium design for number of egg cells, pollen, weight pollen, number of honey pots and the volume of honey of Trigona sp was significantly higher than vertical and horizontal design. The conclusion of this study showed that the medium stup is better used in farming system of Trigona sp

    Respon Seleksi Indeks Dasar pada Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.) di Lahan Kering

    This research aimed to identificate the selection response, the avarage of yield and fresh stover weight of corn during eight cycles of mass selection with basic index technique and observe the genetic parameter of quantitative characteristics. The randomized block design was used to test the selected with 11 treatment populations. Each treatment was replicated 3 times, in order to obtain 33 experimental units. The experimental data were analyzed with analysis of variance at 5 % levels. The average treatment was tested by the LSD0.05. The selection response was obtained from the simple linear regression coefficient between the observed traits with selection cycles. The result of this research, shows the yield and fresh stover weight has a response mass selection with basic index technique per cycle at 0.230 kgplot-1 (3.39 %) and 10.633 gtan-1 (4.21 %), respectively; both of them moderate catagories. The average of yield of eighth cycle population was higher compare to initial population and Gumarang; but the same with Lamuru variety. The weight of fresh stover was the same between treatments. The yield of initial population, eighth cycle population, Gumarang and Lamuru varieties were 5.653 tha-1; 8.035 tha-1; 5.278 t ha-1 and 7.410 tha-1, respectively. The increased of plant height, total number of leaves per plant, number of fresh leaves at harvest and all yield components, were increased the yield. The increased of fresh stover weight occured when there were increased in plant height, total number of leaves, stem diameter and number of fresh leaves at harvest.
