    Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat

    Wastewater management in hospitals is an important aspect to maintain environmental quality and public health. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL) at the Regional General Hospital of West Nusa Tenggara Province (RSUDP NTB) using a biofilter system. The research was conducted for 30 days with a focus on operational observations, interviews with staff, and analysis of wastewater treatment data. The results show that the NTB RSUDP WWTP consists of seven units with varying capacities and involves pre-processing and main processing stages. Despite comprehensive operations, challenges such as pipe blockages and problems with flow meters still occur. Recommendations include improving routine maintenance, optimizing processing processes, and outreach regarding solid waste disposal

    The use of natural coarse aggregate in large-scale concrete production can be avoided using recycled coarse aggregate as a substitute for natural aggregate. However, using recycled coarse aggregate can generally affect the quality of concrete. The excessive interfacial transition zone (ITZ) is formed due to the old mortar that is still attached, which is the weakest contact zone in recycled aggregate concrete. The addition of polymers such as Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) to the recycled aggregate concrete mixture is expected to increase the strength in this area. The addition of SBR content of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 10% to the weight of the mixture water was carried out to review the performance of concrete in terms of its physical properties and mechanical properties. The coarse aggregate used came from recycled coarse aggregate using the Heating-Grinding-Acid Solvent (H-G-A) method. The results of the study show that H-G-A concrete with an additional SBR content of 5% exhibits superior quality compared to normal aggregate concrete.     This research arose because there was an error or shift from the share location on the smartphone. As for evaluating the accuracy of share location with several variations of smartphones that are usually used by goods delivery services using WhatsApp and Telegram applications using four android smartphones by comparing RMSE and CDF values. The results show that the average RMSE WhatsApp error is 11-21 meters, while Telegram is 16-37 meters. WhatsApp's CDF on S4 shows the lowest error distribution around a low of less than 20 meters, while Telegram's PDF shows an error distribution of around 30 meters. In the CDF analysis, WhatsApp showed a faster distribution reaching a value of 1, indicating higher accuracy, while Telegram had a slower and wider distribution, indicating lower instability and accuracy

    Studi Perbandingan Imunohistokimia NeuN dan NSE untuk Penilaian Neuroprotektif Kombinasi Centella asiatica, Kayu Manis, dan Spirulina pada Cedera Otak Traumatis

    Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality globally, often resulting in cognitive and functional impairment. Effective neuroprotective strategies are needed to mitigate secondary injuries following TBI. This study evaluated the neuroprotective effects of combined Centella asiatica, cinnamon, and spirulina using NeuN and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) immunohistochemical staining in a rat model of TBI. Methods: Ten male Sprague-Dawley rats (200–400 g, 10–12 weeks) were subjected to TBI using the modified Marmarou model and treated orally with a combination extract of Centella asiatica, cinnamon, and spirulina for 10 days. On day 11, brain tissues were collected for histopathological examination and immunohistochemical staining using NeuN and NSE markers to evaluate neurogenesis and neuronal survival. Results: Immunohistochemical analysis revealed a mean positive expression of 71.66% in the NeuN group, indicating increased neuronal survival and neurogenesis, while the NSE group consistently showed 0% positive staining across all samples. The NeuN staining provided a clear depiction of neuronal preservation in the brain tissue, whereas NSE did not demonstrate detectable neurogenesis or neuronal protection in this model. Conclusion: The administration of a combined extract of Centella asiatica, cinnamon, and spirulina demonstrated neuroprotective effects in a rat model of subacute traumatic brain injury, as indicated by increased NeuN immunohistochemical expression, reflecting enhanced neurogenesis and neuronal survival. NeuN staining provided a clearer and more sensitive depiction than NSE, supporting its reliability as an immunohistochemical marker for evaluating neuroprotection and neurogenesis during the subacute phase of TBI in models treated with herbal-based interventions

    Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) are one of the horticultural commodities that have an important role as a food source. The purpose of this study is to determine the nutrient absorption of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and potato tuber products at various doses of natural phonska in the dry land of Sembalun East Lombok. The method used in this study is an experimental method by conducting field experiments that test various doses of natural phonska fertilizer. With fertilizer doses of P0 0 kg/ha, P1 800 kg/ha, P2 1,200 kg/ha, P3 1,600 kg/ha and the use of mulch on potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L.). This research was carried out from March to August 2024, in Sajang Village, Sembalun District on land owned by PT Sembalun Kusuma Emas (SKE). The application of natural phonska and mulch has a real effect on the absorption of nutrients from Nitrogen and Phosphorus. The application of phonska 1,600 kg/ha with mulch application (P3M1) yielded the best absorption value, namely, Nitrogen 1.70 gr/ton and Phosphorus 0.21 gr/ton. The application of natural phonska fertilizer and mulch has a real effect on the number of leaves of potato plants, especially at the age of 3 and 7 weeks after planting (MST).     The study aimed to obtain data on the fatty acid profile of BSF maggot cultived using animal and plant-based media.  The study was conducted through experimental stages and laboratory analysis.  The experimental stage was carried out through BSF maggot cultivation using two media treatments, namely animal and plant-based media.  The laboratory analysis stage began with the preparation of maggot samples to become mash.  Next, a fatty acid profile analysis was conducted at PT. Saraswanti Indo Genetech Surabaya using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) to determine the type of fatty acids based on differences in volatility and molecular mass.  The GC-MS results will provide quantitative data on the type and proportion of fatty acids continued in maggots.  The parameters observed were water content, crude fat, and the fatty acid profile of maggots.  The collected data were tabulated and discussed descriptively.  Based on the results of laboratory analysis, it was found that maggots cultivated using animal media contained and average water content of 61.64% and crude fat of 55.48% (DM basis).  Maggots cultivated using animal-source media contained higher unsaturated fatty acids than plant-source media.  The highest laurate content was found in maggots cultivated using plant media (13.55%) compared to animal  media (4.27%).  The conclusion of this study is that the fatty acid profile is influenced by the growth media used, animal media will produce maggots with higher unsaturated fatty acids plant media will produce maggots with higher saturated fatty acids, especially lauric aci

    This study aimed to determine the effect of adding various levels of thorn eggplant (Solanum carolinense) as a coagulant on the physical properties of Sumbawa buffalo milk dangke. The materials used were Sumbawa buffalo milk and thorn eggplant. The study employed a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications: a control treatment (P0) with the addition of 1% papaya latex, P1 with 1% thorn eggplant, P2 with 2% thorn eggplant, and P3 with 3% thorn eggplant. The observed variables included acidity (pH), density, curd percentage, whey percentage, and lactic acid percentage of the dangke, analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results indicated that the addition of thorn eggplant juice had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the curd percentage of Sumbawa buffalo milk dangke. However, it did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on the acidity (pH), density, whey percentage, or lactic acid percentage. The best physical quality of buffalo milk dangke was achieved with the P2 treatment (2% thorn eggplant)

    Freshwater fish, catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is one type of fish for consumption that has high demand. However, catfish production has decreased over the past three years due to constraints in the provision of seeds, especially due to seasonal spawning. This study aims to overcome these constraints through artificial spawning techniques with ovaprim hormone injection and stripping methods. The activity was carried out at the Lingsar Fish Seed Center (BBI), West Lombok in July–August 2024. The process includes pond preparation, broodstock selection, hormone injection, stripping, egg hatching, nursery, and larval maintenance. The results showed that the number of eggs obtained was 61,128, with a hatching rate of 79.99% and a larval survival rate of 72.94%. These results indicate that the artificial spawning method with ovaprim hormone is effective in increasing catfish seed production, and is able to produce seeds in optimal quantity and quality

    The utilization of multilevel drip irrigation needs to be supported by adequate planting media so that the provision of irrigation water is optimal. The planting media used practically uses soil mixed with livestock waste compost and cocopeat in polybags. This test aims to determine the ability of drip irrigation water absorption by the planting media in the form of irrigation depth and soil moisture provision and prediction of irrigation application with a certain duration. The study was conducted on a ½†PVC pipe drip irrigation network with a 2 lt/hour emitter, on a land size of 2 m x 4m x 2m with a water source from PDAM water which is stored in a tank with a capacity of 150 liters and a height of 2.5 m. The test data taken includes data on the distribution of irrigation volume, irrigation depth and soil moisture. The results of the analysis showed that the distribution of drip irrigation depth in cocopeat media ranged from 7.5 cm - 12 cm in 5 minutes, while in rice husks the absorption was around 6.5 cm - 10 cm for the planting media level, with an average Cu of 96% which is very good. The maximum soil moisture that can be provided by four-tiered drip irrigation at a duration of 5 minutes is 30.5% in the early growth phase and at a duration of 10 minutes the average soil moisture is 15%, in the Vegetative phase of plant growth until fruit ripening. So the high irrigation infiltration rate in cocopeat media has the potential to be applied to plants that have long or deep roots, while planting media with rice husks has the potential to be applied to plants with short roots such as vegetables
