Tematy chrystologiczne występujące w "Listach" Hieronima - część druga
This article is a continuation of the first part and aims to examine the Christological themes found in Jerome's Epistles. The monk of Bethlehem deals with Christological themes found in other Church Fathers, but original things appear in his reflections, such as, clarifying the notion of Persona, emphasising the balance and to the same extent the distinction between the humanity and divinity of Christ while clearly emphasising the one subject of both. Furthermore, the discovery of the links between biblical exegesis and Christology and the development of his own original exegetical method should be considered a special achievement of the Monk of Bethlehem. On the basis of the research carried out, it should be concluded that Christological reflection occurs to a significant degree in Jerome's Epistles.

Definition of a particularly vulnerable consumer under Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices
Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices establishes the normative benchmark of the “average consumer” as the primary standard for assessing the legality of commercial conduct. However, Article 5(3) of the Directive introduces an important corrective mechanism by recognizing the category of the “particularly vulnerable consumer,” whose economic behavior may be disproportionately influenced by age, mental or physical frailty, or credulity. This article analyzes the legal contours of this category, with particular regard to the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union and Czech judicial practice. The article examines both endogenous forms of vulnerability (such as illness, disability, or old age) and exogenous or situational factors (including linguistic barriers, lack of digital literacy, or acute distress), emphasizing the requirement of an objective and generalized assessment. Special attention is devoted to the cumulative conditions for the application of Article 5(3), notably the existence of a clearly identifiable group, the substantial distortion of economic behavior, and the criterion of reasonable foreseeability on the part of the trader. The article concludes that the concept of the particularly vulnerable consumer functions as a necessary complement to the average consumer model, thereby aligning EU consumer law more closely with social reality while preserving a fair balance between legitimate commercial practices and effective consumer protection
Civil-Law Aspects of Agrivoltaic Contractual Arrangements under Italian Law: Between Innovation and Constraints
Under Italian law, the installation of agrivoltaic systems may be brought within the scope of agricultural enterprise only where there exists an effective, verifiable, and not merely declaratory link with the agricultural land (fondo rustico), within the meaning of Article 2135 of the Italian Civil Code. From this standpoint, the production of energy from renewable sources qualifies as a connected activity, and not as a substitute for the primary agricultural activity. Against the background of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the EU climate and energy objectives, this article takes Italy as a case study within the EU legal framework and examines how the civil-law notion of "connected activity" can be reconciled with CAP conditionality and eligibility rules. On the basis of this principle, Italian agrivoltaic contractual practice - in particular, deeds establishing surface rights, land tenure titles, and coordination agreements - must be structured so as to ensure continuity of cultivation effective access to the land, compliance with the rules of the Common gricultural Policy (CAP) and with the rules of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and with national incentive schemes (Ministerial Decree of 22 December 2023; GSE Director's Decree No. 149 of 19 June 2025) and, at the same time, the bankabiity of the projects. The legal point of equilibrium in the Italian framework lies in translating the principles of sustainability and multifunctionality into binding contractual clauses capable of preserving the agricultural identity of the land and making energy production compatible with the economic and social function of the agricultural enterprise. The analysis also offers brief comparative insights into selected EU Member States, showing that similar tensions between dual land use (food/energy) and CAP requirements arise across Europe, and suggesting criteria for a possible future revision of Article 2135 of the Italian Civil Code in line with EU law

Anthropology in the Light of the Incarnation: The Christian Vision of Human Nature in the Process of the Formation of Christological Doctrine (2nd-5th Centuries)
Analizie poddano cztery główne tradycje teologiczne: aleksandryjską, kapadocką, antiocheńską i zachodnią (łacińską), z których każda, w odmienny sposób, broniła integralności bosko-ludzkiej tożsamości Chrystusa.
The aim of this article is to verify the continuity and development of the Church Fathers’ reflection on human nature in the light of the Incarnate Christ and to present its evolution during the period from the 2nd to the 5th century. Employing a panoramic and synthetic approach enabled the identification of those anthropological elements that were common and consistently emphasized, thereby highlighting the essential core of the doctrine. The study focuses on the anthropological implications of the Incarnation, that is, the fact that God truly assumed human nature: body, soul, and reason. Based on the testimonies of the Church Fathers – from Ignatius of Antioch and Irenaeus of Lyon to the definition of the Council of Chalcedon – It is demonstrated that theology in the 2nd to 5th centuries consistently argued for the real and inseparable presence of both the fullness of divinity and the fullness of humanity in the one person of Jesus Christ. The analysis addresses four main theological traditions: Alexandrian, Cappadocian, Antiochene, and Western (Latin), each of which defended the integrity of Christ’s divine-human identity in a distinct manner. Within these Christological currents, a deepened vision of humanity gradually emerged – conceived as a nature capable of union with God without losing its own identity. The article shows that Christology constituted the foundation of Christian anthropology: it defined not only the identity of Christ but also the dignity of the human person and his capacity to participate in the life of God. In this perspective, the Incarnation appears as the key to understanding the mystery of humanity
Intergenerational Transmission of Values Among Three Generations of Polish Women: The Moderating Role of Religiosity
This article examines the intergenerational transmission of values in Polish families, focusing on three generations of women: grandmothers, mothers, and daughters. The point of departure is the axiological transformations observed in European societies, particularly the processes of secularization and individualization. The study involved 417 women from 139 three-generational families, in which the hierarchy of values was analyzed using Max Scheler’s theory. The findings reveal an increase in the importance of hedonistic and esthetic values across successive generations, accompanied by a decline in the significance of religious and secular sacred values. In religious families, however, the pace of these changes proved slower, with greater intergenerational similarity in value systems. Religiosity emerged as a significant moderator in the dynamics of axiological transformation. On this basis, the article draws pastoral conclusions that emphasize the need to support families in the process of religious and moral education. The results contribute to the broader discourse on value change in post-traditional societies, providing both a foundation for pastoral reflection and a point of departure for further interdisciplinary research
Religious upbringing of a child as the subject of a parental dispute resolved by the court
Kolizja praw i wolności rodziców (prawo do wychowania dziecka zgodnie z własnymi przekonaniami, prawo do prywatności i życia rodzinnego, wolność wyznania), niejednolitość rozumienia dobra dziecka oraz wiążąca sąd zasada bezstronności (neutralności) religijnej władz publicznych czynią tytułową kategorię spraw szczególnie trudną do rozstrzygania.
The article presents a synthesis and review of the criteria indicated in legal literature and used in the case law of various countries for the judicial resolution of parents’ disputes regarding the religious upbringing of their children. The collision of parents’ rights and freedoms (the right to raise a child in accordance with the parents’ own beliefs, the right to privacy and family life, and freedom of conscience and religion), the contentious understanding of the child’s best interests and the court-binding principle of religious impartiality (neutrality) of public authorities make the given category of cases particularly difficult to adjudicate. This complexity means that legal provisions can guide and determine judicial practice to a limited extent without abolishing the need for a contextual approach to a specific case by the court acting within the limits of considerable discretion. When resolving parental disputes, courts should try to limit the mother’s or father’s right to raise the child in accordance with personal beliefs to the smallest possible extent but in a way that is still adequate for the child’s welfare, understood in terms of their protection against physical and psychological harm but fundamentally not in terms of future prosperity
Source Value of Memories by Fr. Henryk Peszko

The memoirs of Fr. Henryk Peszka are a realistic description of his own life. The memoirs cover the history of the years 1910-1955. The author described his childhood spent in a peasant family in Galicia, the formation of his priestly vocation, his theological studies at the Kielce Seminary, his pastoral work in the parishes of the Kielce diocese and his ministry as a chaplain of the Home Army. After World War II, he recorded the first moments of confrontation between communism and the Catholic Church. His description of anti-Jewish incidents in Kielce and his account of his imprisonment in Warsaw's Mokotow prison are unique. The narrative created by Fr. Henryk Peszko is factual and critical. The author reported the events carefully and did not add an ideological layer to his account. Thanks to the memoirs constructed in this way, he created a valuable historical source, the qualities of which are shown by comparison with the memoirs of other priests.
