Ética y Creatividad. Libertad, sentido y reglas en contextos práctico-operativos
Get PDFThis paper explores the connections between the concepts of ethics and creativity. It is shown that the very notion of creativity as used in the everyday language involves a reference to goals to be achieved and to rulebased procedures leading to these goals. The case of rule-based games as chess is considered, in order to argue that the different contexts in which creativity can be deployed show as an essential feature a distinctive combination of spontaneity and rule-mediation. These features are projected, finally, to the field of genuine (i. e. non-ludical) praxis, in order to stress the role creativity plays in human agency, specially in respect to its moral dimension.El presente trabajo explora las conexiones entre las nociones de ética y creatividad. Se intenta mostrar que lo que llamamos ‘creatividad’ presupone la referencia a un background de sentido en el cual juegan un papel decisivo la referencia a fines y a procedimientos reglados. Se examina el caso de los juegos reglados como el ajedrez, que revelan de modo paradigmático la peculiar trabazón de espontaneidad y mediación reglada que caracteriza a los contextos en los que puede deplegarse el tipo de capacidades, actitudes y estrategias que solemos llamar ‘creativas’. Se intenta trasladar, al final, las estructuras así avistadas al ámbito de la praxis no-lúdica, para poner de manifiesto el importante papel que desempeña la creatividad en el ámbito propio de la acción humana, en cuanto ésta comporta una dimensión estrictamente moral

How to read a platonic dialogue
Get PDFO artigo discute o estatuto dialógico dos textos platônicos e indica algumas razões que levaram Platão a eleger essa forma de expressão. Entre elas, o texto aponta o diálogo como a forma mais apta a captar a ironia socrática e a possibilidade de dramatização do tema discutido, o que, muito além de simplesmente apresentá-lo teoricamente, situa-o em um cenário vivo, no qual urge conhecer o lugar, o contexto histórico e os personagens que o compõem. Nos diálogos platônicos, tudo que é dito deve ser tomado como pronunciamentos em seus contextos, inseparáveis de quem os pronuncia. No desenvolvimento do drama platônico, a verdade, que não pode simplesmente ser dita, pode ser apreendida através da ascese dialética.This article discusses the dialectical structure of Plato’s works and indicates some reasons that led Plato to opt for that form of expression, e.g., the dialogue as the proper form to capture the Socratic irony and the dramatization of the subject under discussion, which goes beyond its mere theoretical presentation, rather situating it in a real scene, where it is necessary to know the locale, the historical context and its characters. In the Platonic dialogues, all that is said must be taken as pronouncements in their own contexts, inseparable from those who pronounce them. In the development of the Platonic drama, the truth, which cannot be simply said, can be apprehended by means of the dialectical ascension

Of the three images of mantic activities in the works of Plato, the first two, the one of divine inspiration and the one founded on technical competence, have their origin in the culture of his time, while the third, elaborated by Plato, is that exerted by Socrates when he links the divination with the human soul and the exercise of philosophy.O texto parte do papel da mântica na cultura grega arcaica e clássica e do especial interesse de Platão pelas suas diferentes formas.
