Crop monitoring system using image processing and environmental data

In the system, we have used colour segmentation and binary masking to analyse and differentiate between various stages of crop plantation (unripe, ripe and diseased) via aerial images. To further improve accuracy, we have used different sensors to detect important factors like the temperature and moisture of the air and soil. This is going to project precise areas of the affected regions and can be taken care of immediately after detection. Furthermore, using Support Vector Machine (SVM), we have been able to classify different types of leaf diseases up to 98% accuracy. We have also used other algorithms, like K-mean cluster and L*a*b* colour space, to detect the diseased part of the leaves. This will ensure the farmers to provide the right type of treatment for the plants. We have taken this initiative in the perspective of Bangladesh where a huge amount of population requires huge amount of food supplement and hence we need a faster and safer monitoring system to meet the agricultural needs of the nation.Shadman RabbiAhnaf ShabikB. However, maximizing the effective conversion of electric energy from solar energy in a cost-effective way is still a challenge researchers are trying to overcome. The average efficiency of solar cells still needs to be improved by a large margin in order to compete with the fossil-fuel based energy-sources. The costs associated with the production and installment of solar panels need to be lowered as well. Silicon is the most used material for manufacturing solar cells for appurtenant reasons. In order to improve the efficiency while lowering the cost, the structure of silicon solar cells have been evolving since it was developed first in 1954. In this thesis, the performance of advanced solar cells is examined by simulation. In the simulation, two structural parameters of a solar cell, the cell thickness and the length of shading of finger are varied separately and the outcomes are observed. In the next part, I provided my rationale of the study on choosing my topic for the report. This part is followed by the scope of the study and statement of the problem where I pointed the problem and mentioned why I think this as a problem. This part also includes the research question of the study.
After that, I provided review on two literatures that I have studied for my internship report.
In the next part, I mentioned the methodology of the data collection for this report.
After that I mentioned the CR activities of Banglalink on digital ecosystem. This was one of the major parts of this report. It shows the number of activities Banglalink currently has for digital ecosystem and how Banglalink is engaging in the ecosystem through these projects.
After that I mentioned my tasks undertaken during the internship period. I mentioned my day to day tasks as well as the projects I was involved in.
In the next part I provided the analysis of the research. In This part I showed tables, data and provided explanations and justifications.
