However, this mobile financial transaction poses money laundering and terrorist financing risk as it includes millions of people all over the country to transacting in the untraceable world of cash, which can be manipulated by fraud and criminals. Thus bKash AML/CFT department makes sure regulations and standards are followed thoroughly which is set by Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU). The purpose of this report was to show how effectiveness of AML/CFT regime can positively affect the entire company and make the whole infrastructure fall in a systematic and standardized process. 40 respondents were picked and the respondents are all officers from the External and Corporate Affairs division since they are involved with and exposed AML/CFT compliance the most. From the collected data, it could be observed that responses to all the questions were fairly positive. However, looking closely it can be seen that in response to whether the employees think that the existing legal and administrative framework in Bangladesh is highly adequate to establish a strong and effective AML/CFT system for financial institution to adhere to.Nujhat TabassumB. Factors affecting tobacco consumption in Bangladesh

The overall paper deals with the various factors that affect consumption of tobacco products.A sample of 100 respondents have been surveyed to understand consumer behavior. These respondents were get provided a survey filled with questions related to the three factors that have been narrowed down in this research paper. The three factors are availability of tobacco products in Bangladesh, social construct of Bangladesh and the psychology of the people of Bangladesh. The paper works with how these factors affect the consumption of tobacco. To understand whether there is any positive, negative or no relation with the factors. A regression analysis using SPSS has been done with the data that has been attained from the survey. The results have been explained further in this paper. Lastly, the paper ends with recommendations of how the paper could be improved and the research could be made more effective. Bata has been the market leader in structured retail footwear industry since its inception, as no other brands like Bata has ever emerged till now. Only, Apex used to be Bata’s only close competitor taking second position in terms of market share. However, with time Bata’s quality of products started to deteriorate along with hike up in products prices, so customers started to shift from Bata to other brands. There are so many branded retailers now in the market which in turn has made life more difficult for Bata as they now have to compete with 10 to 12 brands, but previously it used to be only Apex Footwear. To cope up with rivals and survive in the industry, Bata can follow the footsteps of global brands and adopt their approaches.
This report finds out the success factors of global footwear brands and made an comparison with Bata’s position. Through comparison, the gap between Bata and other brands have been discovered and also mentioned about the challenges that Bata is facing. This internship report mainly focuses on the evaluation of the effectiveness of performance appraisal of NRB Bank Ltd. Firstly, an overview of NRB Bank Ltd has been discussed along with its products. Then, after the introduction to the report, literature review, methodology the main part comes the data analysis part. For the evaluation I have collected data through questionnaire and descriptive survey. And then analyzed data through using pie charts, bar charts to show the percentages. Employee’s satisfaction with performance appraisal, frequency of feedback, training and development needs measurement, fairness about the appraisal, rewards and motivation are the main features of an effective performance appraisal. The first chapter of this report contains the limitation, rationale of the study, research questions, objective of the study is covered. In my report the second point is to do the literature review on online banking service. There is various journal, books are published to explain the online banking service. I took the information from that and complete the part. The chapter 3 included the methodology of the report. That indicates from which source I had collected data. There are two sources from where the data had been collected. One is secondary data one is primary data. In chapter 4, to get the actual scenario of their service there was a survey conducted where the sample size was 70. The targeted audience was the customers of Bank Asia who had visited the bank.
