Students often struggle to understand trigonometry due to its abstract nature and the need for strong visualization skills. This study aims to develop a web-based interactive learning media on trigonometry to enhance students’ mathematical reasoning ability in Grade X at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Huda. The research employed the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Validation results indicated that the developed media is highly feasible, with a score of 97% (very feasible) from subject matter and language experts, and 84% (feasible) from media experts. The product features concise content, interactive simulations for better visualization, evaluation exercises, and wordwall-based games accessible via smartphones or computers. Effectiveness tests showed an improvement in students’ reasoning skills with an average N-gain of 0.41 in small-scale trials and 0.54 in field trials (moderate category), along with a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (sig. 0.001 < 0.05). The findings imply that web-based interactive media can serve as an effective alternative to improve the quality of mathematics learning, especially in trigonometr

This study aimed to identify the characteristics of the Governmental Silent Act (Principle of Lex Silencio Positivo) in the land rights application proposed by the Community, to find the legal consequences when the government remains "silent" (Principle of Lex Silencio Positivo) on the land rights application proposed by the Community, and to analyze the construction of norms that provide legal certainty regarding the Silent Act (Principle of Lex Silencio Positivo) by the government in relation to the land rights application submitted by the Community. This study was conducted using a normative legal research method, employing a legislative approach, a conceptual approach, a historical approach, a case approach, and a comparative approach. The results of this study showed that the legal consequences of the Governmental Silent Act on land rights applications lead to uncertainty regarding the status of the land rights proposed by the applicants. This uncertainty results in grievances for the parties affected by the Governmental Silent Act, including the applicants themselves. Furthermore, the legal consequences of the Governmental Silent Act are seen as a violation of the General Principles of Good Governance, as it has caused legal uncertainty over the land rights applications proposed by the applicants. Meanwhile, the decision is an obligation for government officials, as mandated in Article 175 of the Omnibus Law (Cipta Kerja) in conjunction with Article 53 of the Government Administrative Law. The legal consequences of the government\u27s silence also lead to potential material losses for applicants, which include individuals, legal entities, and government institutions with a legal interest in the land rights application.

INDIGENOUS INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND THEIR LEGAL POSITION IN THE OMNIBUS LAW ON JOB CREATION: The Nature Of Indigenous Peoples

Indigenous peoples attach customary rights to themselves, namely rights owned by a legal alliance (such as Lipu, Boya, Ngata, Banua, etc.), where the citizens of the community (the legal alliance) has the right to control the land, the implementation of which is regulated by the head of the guild (the chief/village head concerned).  Based on this right, the customary rights of indigenous peoples are basic rights inherent in the life of these people that are not a gift from the state. It is the same with the basic rights inherent in every human being, for example the right to life, which is not a gift of the state. Its legal position in the Job Creation Law which has the Character of omnibus law through juridical studies with a philosophical approach, conceptual approach, and a statutory approach. The right of indigenous peoples which is essentially the right to the value of justice and welfare value to the use of natural resources of indigenous peoples who not yet the maximum expected in the job creation law can provide justice and welfare for indigenous peoples over exploited customary territories. The logical consequence of the global trend and the strengthening of the ideology of neo-liberalism today is the emergence of a critique of the state welfare system that is seen as no longer appropriately applied as an approach in development of a country. The state welfare system is undergoing reformulation and adjustment in line with the demands of change, but it is very wrong to assume that the welfare of the state has met the end of its history. Therefore, the central government and local governments together with indigenous peoples to be able to open up and work hard to invite investors to invest in the regions and its territory, as the spirit of the job creation law, because the existence of investment strongly supports the running of the economy, but still pays attention to the  rights of the MHA, namely: Rights on Land and Natural Resources (Customary Forests), The Right to Culture, The Right To Self-Determination, The Right To Free, Prior, Informed, Consend (FPIC).Indigenous peoples attach customary rights to themselves, namely rights owned by a legal alliance (such as Lipu, Boya, Ngata, Banua, etc.), where the citizens of the community (the legal alliance) has the right to control the land, the implementation of which is regulated by the head of the guild (the chief/village head concerned).  Based on this right, the customary rights of indigenous peoples are basic rights inherent in the life of these people that are not a gift from the state. The Effects of Indonesia’s Membership in BRICS on Free Trade Policies and Legal Safeguards for Domestic Enterprises

    Get PDF
Indonesia\u27s potential membership to BRICS, a coalition of prominent rising economies, presents substantial ramifications for international trade legislation and domestic regulatory structures. The research adopts a normative legal approach, employing statutory, conceptual, and comparative methodologies to examine primary legal sources, including international trade agreements, Indonesian trade regulations, and BRICS policies, alongside secondary sources such as academic articles and case studies. The principal findings indicate that Indonesia\u27s participation in BRICS may augment its trade prospects by providing access to expansive markets and cooperative economic endeavours. Nonetheless, it presents obstacles, especially in harmonizing domestic trade regulations with BRICS\u27 unified objectives and guaranteeing sufficient legal safeguards for local enterprises against heightened competition. The study concludes that Indonesia must strategically amend its trade legislation to reconcile international obligations with national interests, advocating for the creation of strong legal protections, enhancement of domestic enterprise capabilities, and proactive involvement in formulating BRICS trade policies to optimize advantages while minimizing risks. This paper enhances the discussion on the convergence of international trade law and domestic legal systems within the framework of growing economic alliances

The Role of Competition Law in Protecting MSMEs from Predatory Pricing Practices in E-Commerce Platforms

The research explores the impact of predatory pricing practices by foreign businesses on e-commerce platforms, which pose significant challenges to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Karawang, Indonesia. Using a normative legal research approach, the study evaluates the adequacy of regulations such as Law Number 5 of 1999 on Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition and Ministry of Trade Regulation Number 50 of 2020 in providing legal protection to MSMEs. The study highlights the role of the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) in monitoring and enforcing fair competition laws within the digital marketplace. The findings reveal that imported products sold at significantly low prices undermine local MSMEs’ competitiveness, exacerbating the challenges they face in the digital economy. Although government initiatives such as prioritizing domestic products, implementing stricter regulations, and launching campaigns like the "Proud to be Made in Indonesia" movement aim to support MSMEs, more robust enforcement and consistent implementation are required. This research emphasizes the necessity for comprehensive strategies to safeguard MSMEs\u27 interests amidst the evolving dynamics of digital trade
