Culturally Responsive Teaching and Ethnopedagogy Approach to Improve Local History Learning Studies in High School
Local history learning in Senior High School (SMA) in the Merdeka curriculum is given the freedom to present material. The content of the material is adjusted to the needs and local history of the community. This opportunity does not seem to be something that is often applied by educators. Culturally responsive teaching (CRT) and ethnopedagogy approaches offer solutions to increase relevance and effectiveness in learning local history. This research aims to develop strategies in the use of local wisdom through CRT and ethnopedagogical approaches to enrich the study in learning local history in high school. The method used in this study is in the form of a conceptual method, involving a literature review and theoretical analysis of elements in CRT and ethnopedagogy. The analysis was focused on the best way to integrate local wisdom into the history curriculum. Thus, a more meaningful learning experience can be created for students. The results of this study show that these two approaches are relevant when used as an approach in history learning. The CRT and ethnopedagogical approach allows students to relate historical material to their cultural identity, increasing understanding and appreciation of local history. The implementation of this strategy also increases students' critical awareness of relevant social and historical issues in their society. PEMBERDAYAAN KELOMPOK WANITA TANI (KWT) KAMPUNG RAMA DEWA MELALUI SOSIALISASI HIDROPONIK SEDERHANA
Hidroponi memiliki budidaya tanaman yang menggunakan air dab tidak menggunakan tanah sebagi media tanam(soilless). Sistem pertanian hidroponik menjadi alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktifitas pertanian terutama pada lahan yang sempit. Target sosialisasi hidroponik sederhana diwilayah Rama Dewa kususnya pada kelompok wanita tani untuk merubah masyarakat bahwa tidak semua sistem hidroponik memerlikan biaya yang mahal. Sistem hidroponik wick merupakan salahsatu model hidroponik sederhana yang dapat dipraktekan kepada semua kalangan masyarakat dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 maret 2024 di Jl.Pentas Tari Bali, Rama Dewa, Kec. The Role of Herman Willem Daendels in Politics in the Dutch East Indies 1808-1811
This research aims to describe the role of Herman Willem Daendels in the Dutch East Indies while he was governor general in politics in 1808-1811. Starting from the bankruptcy of the VOC in the Dutch East Indies, the appointment of Daendels as leader in the Dutch Indies to the policies implemented by Daendles while leading, especially in the political field. The research method uses historical or historical methods in the form of descriptive narrative through 4 stages of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography (historical writing). Based on research results, Herman Willem Daendels' role in the political field was to carry out significant administrative reforms. Daendels changed the previously decentralized administrative system to a more centralized one, establishing a new, more efficient bureaucracy by introducing salaries for regents as colonial government employees, trying to reduce the level of corruption that was rampant during the VOC government and increasing their loyalty and performance by providing appropriate compensation and abolishing feudal structures and overhauling power relations between the Dutch East Indies government and local rulers in Java. This research provides insight into the role of Herman Willem Daendels in the Dutch East Indies while he was governor general, especially in the political field in 1808-1811
PENGARUH TEMPERATUR TEMPERING TERHADAP ENERGI IMPAK DAN POLA PATAHAN PADA BAJA AISI 1045
The study of the effect of low temperature quenching cooling media on the value of toughness and types of fractures in AISI 1045 steel aims to determine the mechanical properties of increasing the value of toughness and ductility in steel. AISI 1045 steel is heated at a temperature of 850°C held for 60 minutes and then quenched quickly to a low temperature. The medium used is water. This tempering process can increase the impact energy. The impac energy value obtained at a temperature of 350°C is 18,33 Joule. Then at a temperature of 450°C it increases by 80 Joule, after that it increases again at a temperature of 550°C which is 121,33 Joule, the value increases higher at a tempering temperature of 650°C by 135,67  Joule. Observation of the type of fault shows that the higher the temperature the more ductile it can be seen from the results of the uneven and fibrous surface. Impact  energy is influenced by variations in tempering temperature. PENGARUH MATRIKS DAN KETEBALAN SKIN TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK KOMPOSIT SANDWICH DENGAN CORE POLYURETHANE
Indonesia is an earthquake-prone country related to its geological position located in the Pacific ring of fire. Therefore, it is necessary to mitigate earthquake disasters so as not to cause much loss, both property and life. One of them is by introducing the walls of earthquake resistant composite house (RKTG) made from sandwich composites. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of matrix and skin thickness on the mechanical strength of sandwich composites with polyurethane cores.). Sandwich composites use variations of glassfiber reinforced polymer (GRP) and glassfiber reinforced concrete (GRC) skins and variations in skin thickness of 6 mm and 10 mm. The adhesive used is polyester resin with methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst. The manufacturing process of making sandwich composites uses the hand lay-up technique with a sandwich composite thickness of 10 cm. The results showed that GRP skins have better mechanical properties than GRC skins. Skin thickness can also improve the mechanical properties of sandwich composites. The best mechanical strength was obtained in the GRP skin type with a skin thickness of 10 mm, namely a flexure strength of 1.63 MPa, a compressive strength of 10.7 MPa, and a tensile strength of 0.08 MPa
Studi Simulasi Pengaruh Variasi Waktu Injeksi Terhadap Karakteristik Pembakaran dan Emisi Gas Buang Mesin Diesel 1 Silinder Berbahan Bakar Biodiesel B30
Mesin diesel yang menggunakan bahan bakar biodiesel membutuhkan penyesuaian parameter operasi mesin untuk mendapatkan performa mesin dan emisi gas buang yang optimal. Waktu injeksi adalah salah satu parameter yang berpengaruh besar terhadap performa mesin, pembakaran dan emisi gas buang mesin diesel. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memprediksi pengaruh waktu injeksi terhadap performa mesin, pembakaran dan emisi gas buang mesin diesel yang menggunakan bahan bakar biodiesel B30. Simulasi dilakukan pada enam waktu injeksi (13o, 15o, 17o, 19o, 21o, dan 23o crank angle (CA) before Top Dead Center (bTDC). Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ANSYS FORTE CFD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan memajukan waktu injeksi mampu meningkatkan tekanan pembakaran, pelepasan panas dan temperatur silinder. Sedangkan emisi gas buang CO, HC dan partikel asap menurun signifikan, namun terjadi peningkatan emisi NOx
KARAKTERISTIK LIMBAH BATANG SINGKONG SEBAGAI BIOMASSA CO-FIRING UNTUK PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK
This study evaluates the potential of wet cassava stems, dry cassava stems, and dry cassava stem powder as biomass fuels for co-firing in power plants. The analysis includes proximate testing, calorific value, and ultimate analysis to determine the quality and combustion efficiency of each material. Proximate test results show that dry cassava stems have lower moisture content and higher ash content compared to wet cassava stems, which can affect residue and slagging in power plant equipment. The high volatile matter content and significant increase in fixed carbon from wet to dry conditions indicate a greater extractable energy potential. The gross calorific value shows a significant increase from 2676.11 kcal/kg (AR) to 4929.44 kcal/kg (DAF) for wet cassava stems, and from 3910.64 kcal/kg (AR) to 5046.48 kcal/kg (DAF) for dry cassava stems. Dry cassava stem powder shows a very high calorific value, reaching 4272 kcal/kg (DB). The best ultimate analysis results for cassava stem powder are carbon (C) 48.44%, hydrogen (H) 6.61%, oxygen (O) 43%, sulfur (S) 0.15%, and nitrogen (N) 1.80%.This study evaluates the potential of wet cassava stems, dry cassava stems, and dry cassava stem powder as biomass fuels for co-firing in power plants. Menilik Potret Tantangan Dalam Menyongsong Pemilu Serentak 2024
The simultaneous holding of the general election on April 17, 2019, marks a new chapter in the electoral process in Indonesia. This development is the result of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 14/PUU/2013, which reviewed Law Number 42 of 2008 concerning the Election of the President and Vice President. Despite the acknowledgment that simultaneous elections are considered an improvement compared to previous ones, it doesn't mean that the implementation is flawless. The most alarming issue is the significant loss of lives among election organizers, seen as a consequence of the 2019 simultaneous elections, along with other technical problems. Considering the various aspects arising from the 2019 elections, it is essential to reevaluate whether simultaneous elections are ideal for Indonesia's governance. This research is of a juridical-normative nature, utilizing a legal approach and case analysis. The data collection technique and arguments presented in this paper rely on qualitative studies. The findings of this research state that simultaneous elections represent a new breakthrough for Indonesian democracy, but there are still specific areas that require special attention. In this regard, the Constitutional Court proposes alternative models for simultaneous elections that can be chosen and deemed constitutional based on the 1945 Constitution
Jami' Al-Anwar Mosque as a Medium to Strengthen the Influence of Islam in Teluk Betung Lampung in The 19th Century
There is the oldest mosque in Lampung located in the South Teluk Betung area, which houses several historical relics depicting the movement of change in Islam, namely Masjid Jami' al-Anwar. This mosque has stood since the Dutch colonial era and holds the uniqueness of how it has played a role in strengthening the development of Islam in Teluk Betung. Therefore, this research attempts to gather information related to the early development of Masjid Jami' al-Anwar in Teluk Betung, Lampung. The method used in this research is a historical method starting from data collection and exploration of sources from mosque archives, related journals, and several articles. Then, to further strengthen the existing data, the author conducted interviews involving direct sources who are descendants of the founders of Masjid Jami' al-Anwar. Pelatihan Juru Pemantauan Jentik (Jumantik) di Desa Wonomarto, Kota Bumi Utara, Kabupaten Lampung Utara
Angka penyakit berbasis lingkungan khususnya penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih cukup tinggi, di wilayah Indonesia pada umumnya dan di Kabupaten Lampung Utara pada khususnya. Banyak faktor penentu, utamanya faktor lingkungan dan perilaku masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu upaya pemutusan rantai penularan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk rutin melaksanakan survei jentik dan pemberian abate sebagai pembunuh jenitik nyamuk Aedes adalah langkah yang startegis, karena selain murah dapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pemberantasan penyakit DBD melalui Gerakan PSN-DBD.Sehubungan dengan itu maka kami para dosen Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungarang melakukan pelatihan kader Juru Pemantau Jentik (Jumantik) di Desa Wonomarto, Kota Bumi Utara, Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Kegiatan tersebut berupa kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat oleh para dosen Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang.Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat tersebut adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk Demam Berdarah Dengue (PSN-DBD) di desa Wonomarto, Kota Bumi Utara, Lampung Utara. Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh 30 orang warga desa. Kepanitiaan selain dibantu oleh beberapa mahasiswa Prodi D-3 Keperawatan, dan beberapa petugas Puskesmas Madukoro, Kota Bumi Utara
