Effectiveness of Reality Technique Group Counseling Against Reduction Academic Procrastination of Students at State Islamic Madrasah 1 Central Aceh
Several studies have shown that reality technique group counseling is effective for reducing academic procrastination, although it is rarely used by guidance and counseling teachers. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of reality technique group counseling in reducing academic procrastination of students of MAN 1 Aceh Tengah. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research with a non-equivalent control group design. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The characteristics of this research sample are students who have high academic procrastination problems, so there are 14 students, of which 7 students become the control group and 7 other students become the experimental group. The data collection instrument used the academic procrastination scale. The data analysis technique used is test Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that group counseling with reality techniques was effective in reducing academic procrastination of students at MAN 1 Aceh Tengah. This can be seen from the results of the average score pretest And post test which is 45.86 higher when compared to 29.14, while based on the results of the analysis of the Wilcoxon signed ranks test the Z count results are -2.371b and the Asymp sig (2-tailed) value is 0.018 or the probability is below alpha 0.05 (0.018 ≤ 0.05) which means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest score
Leadership Styles and Financial management of Family Businesses : Case Studies
This case study examines the relationship between leadership style and financial management in family businesses. Family businesses are unique in terms of their ownership and management structure, with family members often acting as both owners and managers. Therefore, leadership styles play an important role in the financial management of these businesses. This case study examines various leadership styles, including transformational, transactional and paternalistic leadership, and how they influence financial management decisions such as investment, risk-taking and financial performance. The case study, conducted in the Krupuk Rambak Mojokerto MSME community, also explores the role of family dynamics, succession planning and corporate governance in shaping the leadership styles and financial management of family businesses. Overall, the results of the literature review suggest that a combination of transformational and transactional leadership styles, coupled with effective family communication and governance structures, can result in better financial performance in family businesses. However, further research is needed to fully understand the complex interactions between leadership styles, family dynamics and financial management in family businesses
The Role of International Committee of the Red Cross on the Russia-Ukraine War
This article aims to analyze and describe how many victims there are in the current Russia-Ukraine war. Basically humanity is the basis of life anywhere. So the importance of presence of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as part of humanitarian law to deal with existing casualties. We can see how the war that occurred could not be finished simply. So besides focusing on the war, first aid is also needed for victims of the war. This article uses a qualitative approach with a literature review design related to the role of ICRC in this war. The data was collected by compiling sources from various kinds of literature such as reading books, websites and discussions with experts and competent groups. The results show that there were many casualties from both the Russian and Ukrainian sides in the war that took place. The ICRC as an important body in humanitarian law is needed to be able to carry out its duties properly
Horizontal Conflict Resolution Related to Belief in Religious Tolerance in Multi-Cultural Society in Indonesia
Social conflicts have the potential to occur in multi-religious societies, especially in multicultural societies, such as Indonesia. One of the factors that causes this to happen is the occurrence of human error in understanding religious texts. The movement of discourse and dialogue among religious adherents has made significant progress. This begins with the awareness that all religious people basically pursue peace, compassion, and love and live happily with their loved ones. Indonesia is a plural country with a diversity of ethnicities, races, cultures, languages and religions. In terms of religion, Indonesia recognizes several religions, namely Islam, Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. These religions have different principles and beliefs. The lack of social order to properly manage these differences has the potential to create conflict. The purpose of this research is to know the ways the conflict resolution of religious tolerance around society in daily life. This research is use qualitative method with descriptive approach. The result of this research is people must know the characteristic of multicultural of Indonesian society to emphasizes that the diversity of patterns of Indonesian society is intended not only for the diversity of ethnic groups but also for the diversity of cultures that exist in society. The existence of this cultural diversity can be seen in mutual respect and tolerance between cultures. Growing The Tolerance as Conflict Resolution to build tolerance each others. Social conflicts are often motivated by differences in characteristics brought by individuals in the realm of society. SINERGITAS PEMERINTAH DALAM PENANGANAN KONFLIK BATAS WILAYAH ANTARA KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT DAN KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH
The territorial boundary conflict between West Lombok and Central Lombok districts in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province has been going on for several years, with various attempts being made to find an appropriate solution. This study aims to analyze the synergies carried out by the Provincial Government of NTB in handling boundary conflicts. The research method used is a case study with in-depth interviews with informants involved in handling boundary conflicts. The results of the study show that government synergy in resolving boundary conflicts involves the West Lombok Regency Government, Central Lombok Regency Government, community leaders, and other relevant agencies. The synergies carried out include facilitating meetings, strengthening the authority of the Border Dispute Resolution Team so that it has a large and strong capacity, approaching the community, coordinating the central government with local governments regarding border conflicts between Central Lombok and West Lombok Regencies by providing coordination space. The governor acts as the representative of the central government in the province, so that the central government is under the command of the provincial government. The results of this research are the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 P/Hum/2023 dated 9 February 2023, in the case submitted by the Regent of Central Lombok as the applicant party and the Minister of Home Affairs as the respondent. It has been decided that Nambung will become part of Central Lombok Regency.Konflik batas wilayah antara Kabupaten Kabupaten Lombok Barat dan Kabupaten Lombok Tengahdi Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) telah berlangsung selama beberapa tahun, dengan berbagaiupaya dilakukan untuk mencari solusi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sinergiyang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi NTB dalam menangani konflik batas wilayah. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap informanyang terlibat dalam penanganan konflik batas wilayah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasinergitas pemerintah dalam resolusi konflik batas wilayah, melibatkan Pemerintah KabupatenLombok Barat dan Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, tokoh masyarakat, serta lembaga-lembaga terkaitlainnya. Sinergi yang dilakukan berupa memfasilitasi pertemuan, memperkuat kewenangan TIMPBD supaya mempunyai kapasitas yang besar dan kuat, melakukan pendekatan kepadamasyarakat Sistem koordinasi Pemerintah Pusat dengan Pemerintah Daerah terkait konflik bataswilayah Pemkab Lombok Tengah dan Pemkab Lombok Barat dilakukan dengan memberi ruanguntuk koordinasi. The Influence of Marketing Mix on Tourist Satisfaction in Sade Tourism Village, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara
The tourism development in Pulau Lombok has experienced rapid growth, but it still faces challenges such as a lack of human resources, substandard service quality, and inadequate supporting facilities. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the Marketing Mix on tourist satisfaction in the Sade Tourism Village. The Marketing Mix consists of seven marketing elements, including Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence. Tourist satisfaction plays a critical role in the achievement of success within the tourism industry. The research methodology employed in this study is quantitative research, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 100 visiting tourists. Purposive Sampling was used with the criteria that respondents must be over 17 years of age. Structural equation modeling analysis using Smart PLS was employed in this research. The findings demonstrate that the dimensions of the Marketing Mix, namely Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence, have a significant influence on tourist satisfaction in the Sade Tourism Village. This study provides practical implications for service providers in the village of Sade. Service providers need to maintain aspects of the Marketing Mix, such as offering attractive tourism products, affordable pricing, effective distribution channels and promotions that can reach tourists, high-quality service processes, and an appealing appearance. By maintaining and enhancing these elements of the marketing mix, it will have an impact on tourist satisfaction
Javanese Nomads’ Language Attitude Towards Javanese and Batak Toba Languages
This study investigates the language attitude of Javanese Nomads’ towards Javanese and Batak Toba Language in Sumbul City. The participants of this study are the age of 17 to 60 years. There are four informants ranging in age from 17 to 25, there are four informants of ethnic married partner, and four informants ranging in age from 40 to 50 years old and have been living in Sumbul city for more than 10 years. The study id based on the purposive sampling technique. Technic for data collection is supported by interview transcript and some other instruments such as field note, recording tools. Data from questionnaire is analyzed by using the steps: (1) reduction the data into positive and negative attitude, (2) data display through textual representation on Javanese and Tobanese language attitude, (3) verification and drawing conclusion. The data from interview is analyzed by (1) transcribing the data from tape recorder, (2) classifying data into some categories of factors contribute to positive or negative attitude, (3) verifying the data through asking interview participant to do confirmation and (4) come to conclusion. Cognitive Factors shows that Javanese inhabitants’ comprehension to their language is proficient enough since more than 50 % of informants realize that their language is their typical characteristic of their ethnic, however 25 % of the informants who are dominated by young generation rarely use their ethnic language. As many as 25% of used Indonesian and Toba Batak language to communicate in daily life interaction, this is caused by work factors as they have to adapt environment dominated by other ethnic and Indonesian language as official language in their work institution. Affective Aspects of Javanese inhabitants aged 17 – 25 most frequently use Indonesian language at school and campus than Javanese language. Conative Factors shows Javanese informants (60%) rarely or even never use Javanese language as they seldom interact or meet up with Javanese people even they meet up with Javanese people they prefer to use Indonesian language. However, four informants (40%) sometimes still use Javanese language to communicate at home, big family gathering, interact with other Javanese people those who have eagerness to keep using Javanese language in communication in market, workplace, mosque. Trend Analysis Using Bibliometric Study on Digital Literacy in Education
Digital literacy has emerged as a critical skillset in response to the rapid evolution of digital technology. The COVID-19 pandemic has notably accentuated its significance, particularly in educational settings. In this study, a bibliometric analysis using VoS Viewer was conducted on 725 articles retrieved from the Google Scholar database, covering the period from 2013 to 2023. Employing qualitative methods, this research aims to comprehensively analyze the research trends in Digital Literacy in Education, focusing specifically on its practical applications and outcomes. The findings of the study provide multifaceted insights into the use of digital literacy in education. Through cluster analysis, prominent themes and interrelationships within the field have been identified and interpreted. Notably, the results shed light on the actual implementation and observed outcomes of digital literacy initiatives in educational contexts. The analysis discerns the practical implications and tangible effects of digital literacy on learning outcomes, pedagogical strategies, and student engagement. This study emphasizes the need for a nuanced approach to digital literacy, moving beyond mere technical competence. It underlines the importance of integrating responsible use, critical thinking, and digital citizenship within educational curricula and pedagogical practices. The research findings assert the necessity of aligning digital literacy initiatives with evolving educational needs to equip students with essential skills for navigating the digital landscape effectively. The implications of this study extend to policymakers, educators, and researchers involved in digital literacy initiatives. Highlighting the actual utilization and impact of digital literacy in education, the study urges stakeholders to refine educational practices and policies. Furthermore, it underscores the significance of continuous integration and adaptation of digital literacy within educational frameworks, aiming to harness its potential for enriching learning experiences and preparing students for the demands of the digital age. This research contributes to an in-depth understanding of the practical application of digital literacy in educational settings. The Strong Influence of Pancasila Values in Indonesia in the Moral Shift Against the Paradigm of Science and Technology Development in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0
Shifts in morals or human behavior are inseparable from the paradigm of the development of science and technology, especially in the 4.0 revolution era. Various countries around the world are competing to continue to develop science and technology to be able to compete with various countries and complement the interests of their respective countries. However, over time, developments that should lead to positive things have become negatively biased as a result of being used by a handful of people to fulfill their personal or group interests. Cases of fraud, bullying, spreading fake news, etc, that utilize technology also cause a moral shift to occur. Indonesia, as a country that has a diversity of ethnicity, language, and customs is very vulnerable to being consumed by this. The presence of Pancasila as the ideology of the Indonesian nation can to filter all possibilities that occur as a result of the paradigm of scientific and technological development. Pancasila is formulated by various opinions from different backgrounds. So that Pancasila is considered as a unifier and glue of the diversity of Indonesian society. In addition, Pancasila is also used as a guideline and way of life for the nation both in formulating law and other rules, so that Pancasila is considered a national ideology that will not be eroded by the paradigm of the development of both science and technology
The Role Of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy And Perceived Positive Parenting Towards Future Orientation In Boarding School Adolescents In Bandung
During adolescence, individuals begin to form an identity and plan for their future, including choosing a career that suits their interests and abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the role of career decision making, selfefficacy, and perceived positive parenting affects future orientation in boarding school adolescents in Bandung. This study uses the Cross Sectional Regression method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to boarding school adolescents in Bandung who were respondents in this study. The collected data will be analyzed using regression analysis techniques. The results showed that Career Decision Making, Selfefficacy, and Perceived Positive Parenting play a role in future orientation in boarding school adolescents in Bandung. The ability of adolescents to make the right career decisions and in accordance with their interests, values, and abilities will affect their future direction and goals. Adolescents with high levels of selfefficacy tend to have strong confidence in facing challenges and achieving their future goals. In addition, positive parenting, such as emotional support, open communication, and encouragement to achieve goals, can influence adolescents' attitudes and behaviors towards future orientation
