ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI SENYAWA FLAVONOID DARI KULIT AKAR TUMBUHAN SUKUN Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg
Isolation of flavonoid compounds from Plants Roots Leather Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg) that grow in the village of Banjar District State Tanggamus Wonosobo regency of Lampung Province has been conducted. Isolation of flavonoid compounds is done by maceration method using the solvent ethyl acetate. Stages of purification of samples carried out by chromatographic methods include vacuum liquid chromatography (VLC), thin layer chromatography (TLC), gravity column chromatography (GCC), and flash chromatography. As for the characterization of flavonoid compounds used infrared spectroscopy (IR), ultaviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), and test the melting point. Based on the results of research that has been done, pure flavonoid compounds obtained amorphous form of yellow crystals with a melting point of 247,5-249 0C. Based on the analysis of ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, infrared, and nuclear magnetic resonance can be concluded that the isolation of these compounds is artonin E
AUDIT AND ANALYSIS OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF OFFICIAL BUILDING IN ITERA CAMPUS
Decreasing of energy consumption for buildings has become a common issue in many countries. This makes rising in the importance of having an effort to conserve the energy use for consumption. Audit energy is a starting point to have the conservation energy effort. With audit energy, the energy consumption pattern of a system could be achieved and the scheme for decreasing energy consumption could be drawn. Higher education institution should be the agent to implement the energy conservation in society. This paper is aim to have energy audit and energy consumption pattern in ITERA. With the result, a scheme for energy consumption in ITERA will be presented. This scheme later will have impact on ITERA’s budget. In order to have this scheme, electrical energy consumption in every building in ITERA will be surveyed. Beside electrical energy, temperature and relative humidity in every room building will be measured. Secondary data as in building area and room schedule will be collected. This data will be analyzed and the expected data, that is the scheme for energy consumption decreasing will be recommended
A STUDY AWAL PENDUGAAN AKUIFER AIR TANAH DI KAMPUS ITERA DENGAN METODE GEOLISTRIK KONFIGURASI SCHLUMBERGER
Air bersih menjadi kebutuhan dasar yang harus disediakan di Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA). Kondisi geologis ITERA berada pada daerah dengan batuan piroklastik di atasnya, batuan tersebut memiliki sifat impermeabel. Hal ini meyebabkan air di permukaan sukar mengalir ke bawah permukaan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan kajian awal bawah permukaan dengan melakukan pengukuran sifat kelistrikan batuan menggunakan metode geolistrik konfigurasi Schlumberger untuk mencari potensi air bersih di ITERA. Data hasil pengukuran diolah dengan menggunakan Ms. Excel dan dimodelkan menggunakan software IPI2win. Hasil interpretasi menunjukkan bahwa potensi sumber air ditemukaan berada pada kedalaman > 25 meter dengan rentang nilai resistivitas antara 2 - 10 Ωm dan termasuk ke dalam akuifer tertekan
Identifying Local Community’s Empowerment in Developing Sustainable Tourism in Pahawang Island, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province
One of the problems on current road infrastructure development in Indonesia is the difficulty of getting road data and information. For example, data and information, which related on sustainable road infrastructure development. Moreover, some of road authorities did not realize that data is important element in the cycle process of road infrastructure development. Inaccurate road data will decrease the quality of road budgeting and programming, on the other hand it will affect the period service of road itself. The good road data could support sustainable road by providing the road value such as historical, current condition, and prediction. Indonesian Road Data Center Operations (IRODCO) is a concept of integrated road database storage. Collaborate data from Indonesian road authority (Ministry of Public Work and Housing, Ministry of Transportation, National Police and Local Government) can be stored, processed and managed to be a value-added information. IRODCO will provide data and information easily and quickly, for supporting the sustainable development of road infrastructure. This paper will explain the background of IRODCO concept, type of road database, the architecture, and how this concept will be implemented in Indonesia, particularly for supporting the sustainable road infrastructure development
OPTIMALISASI PROSES KOMPUTASI PELEBARAN PITA FREKUENSI DATA SEISMIK REFLEKSI BERBASIS INVERSI BERESOLUSI TINGGI UNTUK PENAFSIRAN STRATIGRAFI SEISMIK
Resolution capability of seismic reflection data is becoming more interesting topic to discuss even for today. Several methods and approximations to attempt bandwidth extension of seismic reflection data have been proposed in wide variety. Among them is a non-stationary reflectivity inversion based on basis pursuit decomposition technique. The need of the method is increasing as it can provide realistic resolution of seismic data. The main advantages of the method are consistancy with log data, good lateral continuity, preserve amplitude and capable in denying artificial reflection feature. Nevertheless, its computational process is very expensive thus most pratitioners tend to avoid the method and look for another method that could serve quicker instead of better results.This paper attempt to propose a set of computational scheme which can be used flexibly for any prospective user to reduce the computational cost of the method
the APPLICATION OF VDI 2222 METHOD IN THE PROCESS OF DESIGNING TOOLS FOR ASSEMBLING THE FOUR WAY ENTRY PALLET: APLIKASI METODE VDI 2222 PADA PROSES PERANCANGAN ALAT BANTU PERAKITAN FOUR WAY ENTRY PALLET
The research was conducted at UD X, this company made one type of pallet, four way entry pallet (local pallet). The average order in a month is 2000 units, which 60% of order completed by the company and the other 40% by subcontracts. In this pallet assembly process, joining each components is doing manually by the operator without tools. While the assembly process needed high accuracy and much time to do. Therefore, tools are needed by operators to carry out the assembly process. So using tools can reduce the process time and the company does not need to subcontracts. To solve that problem, a tool was designed use Verein Deutsche Inginieuer 2222 method (VDI 2222). The result of the design was a pallet assembly aid with allumunium alloy as the base material. The design implementation process which requires a cost of Rp. 6,013,055.26 will be reach the break even point when 7618 units produced. If the design is implemented, the company does not need to subcontract, because with this tool it can save the assembly time by 61.66% from the initial time
ANALISA ALGORITMA RELIEFF UNTUK MODEL ASOSIASI PERUBAHAN WARNA PADA INDIKATOR KEMASAN CERDAS DAN PERUBAHAN MUTU PRODUK
Smart packaging is one of innovations in the field of packaging that can monitor and provide information to producers and consumers about the quality of the packaged product. Nowadays, there is no exact model to relate both of the changing between the label and the product quality. Thus, it is required an association between discoloration smart packaging indicator with the packaged product quality change. Parameter identification process can generate a lot of parameters, we need a method to select the important parameter attributes therefore it used a ReliefF (Reliable Eliminated of Feature) method. The objectives of this research were to identify the association parameters and to select the important attribute and sufficiently describing the relationship and furthermore this research was to develop an association model of discoloration of smart packaging indicator with natural dyes and the quality changes. The data were obtained from a previous research and discretization to classify the data °Hue, ΔE, consumer preferences and the total colony to nominal value. Selection of attributes by using the ReliefF method showed that there were three attributes with the highest weight value (Wi). Furthermore, this research generated important parameters and sufficiently describing the relationship of discoloration and product quality changes
IDENTIFICATION THE EFFECT OF THE EXISTENCE OF CAMPUS INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI SUMATERA IN THE LAND USE CHANGES AND PRICES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
This research identifies the presence of Institut Teknologi Sumatera in altering the land use of the surrounding area. The very rapidly changes around the campus ITERA is altering the land use at present. It is because of the need for the land in order to meet the needs of ITERA’s students who come from outside the regions. These needs can be seen in the form of land use changes from agriculture, plantation, and vacant land into rented house, food stalls, and photocopy services as a provider of facilities for students ITERA. The data were collected through questionnaires, as well as interviews with stakeholders and community members in the ITERA campus’ neighborhood. The analytical method adopted in this research is geographic information systems to describe a changes in altering the land use and prices. In addition this research explain how the alter land use are happening. The findings suggest that the presence of Institut Teknologi Sumatera, to some degree, has influenced how the land is being managed in the surrounding area and the price of the land
Analysis Wind Characteristics in South Lampung Indonesia
Many researchers have begun to evaluate the characteristics of the wind to be the mainstay of energy utilized for power generation. Various countries have started to conduct research of analysis the characteristics of wind potential in certain areas. In this study, wind speed data is be measured in the South Lampung. The maximum and minimum wind speed average in one day is 4.2 knot (from east to west direction) and 0.9 knot (from west to east direction), respectively. The sensor of wid speed is located at 10 meter height from ground. The results show that the maximum wind speed can reach 3 m/s at a height of 10 m on August and December. Moreover, the most wind direction during July to December goes to WSW (West SouthernWest) and SSE (South SouthernEast)
FITTING ISOCHRONE OF HYADES STAR CLUSTER BY BUILDING COLOUR MAGNITUDE DIAGRAM (CMD)
Star cluster sky survey from many projects have many informations about our Galaxy, Milky Way. Hyades star cluster is the nearest open cluster and one of the best-studied star cluster. Its location about 153 light-years away from the Solar System consist of roughly spherical group of hundreds of stars. Earlier information from this cluster can be used to constraint other paramaters such as structuer, composition, dynamic formation, and evolution of Galaxy. Aim this research is fitting model of simple Colour Magnitude Diagram (CMD) with isochrone from Hyades data using monte caro method including binary star fraction effect and fotometry uncertainty. Basic parameter Hyades data is taken from WEBDA while isochrone Hyades data is taken from Padova site. The result from this research is limiting magnitude instrument observing Hyades around 16 mag. There is points of Hyades data forming new main sequence under real main sequence which fit with model
