Analisis Perbaikan Tanah Lunak Metode Preloading dan Preloading Kombinasi Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) dengan Variasi Panjang PVD (Studi Kasus: Pembangunan Jalan Tol Indralaya - Prabumulih)
Tanah memiliki peranan penting sebagai pijakan suatu infrastruktur. Tanah lunak memiliki karakteristik yang kurang baik, daya dukung rendah, kemampuan mengalirkan dalam waktu yang lama, serta sifat kompresibilitas tinggi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tanah lunak maka perlu diadakan pembebanan awal (preloading) dan Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD). Proyek pembangunan Jalan Tol Seksi Simpang Indralaya-Prabumulih STA -0+030 memiliki tanah lunak dengan kedalaman 22 m sehingga perbaikan tanah perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghitung besarnya penurunan tanah, menganalisis perbandingan lama waktu konsolidasi tanah akibat preloading serta kombinasi PVD dan preloading, menganalisis besar tegangan ekses air pori tanah secara metode elemen hingga, menganalisis pengaruh dari variasi panjang PVD dengan perbedaan panjang sebesar 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, 20 m, dan 22 m. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menentukan stratifikasi tanah, melakukan perhitungan parameter tanah dan memodelkan seta menganalisis perbaikan tanah. Besar penurunan tanah lunak yang memiliki kedalaman 22 m yaitu sebesar 1,263 m, Pada perhitungan analitis, lama waktu konsolidasi yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 468 hari. Sedangkan lama waktu konsolidasi yang diperoleh menggunakan program elemen hingga metode preloading yaitu sebesar 473 hari dan metode preloading kombinasi PVD panjang PVD 5 m membutuhkan waktu 323 hari, panjang PVD 10 m membutuhkan waktu 176 hari, panjang PVD 15 m membutuhkan waktu 90 hari, panjang PVD 20 m membutuhkan waktu 52 hari, dan panjang PVD 22 m membutuhkan waktu 32 hari. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, pengaruh perbedaan variasi panjang PVD yaitu terdapat pada waktu konsolidasi.

Distribusi spasial kualitas perairan dan hubungannya dengan aktifitas budidaya perikanan di Teluk Lampung
Coastal water is water areas that receive much input of organic matter originating from human activities on land. Anthropogenic activities such as marine aquaculture in Teluk Lampung impact water quality on that waters. This study was conducted to determine the distribution of water quality around Teluk Lampung and its correlations to marine aquaculture activities. The analysis carried out in this study is spatial analysis to determine the spatial distribution of water quality in three focus area, namely Teluk Hurun (HB), Selatan Teluk Hurun (SHB) dan Pantai Sari Ringgung (SRB) as part of Teluk Lampung. In addition to spatial analysis, principal component analysis (PCA) was also carried out to determine water quality as a variable and its correlation to each area. Based on the results of this study, the spatial distribution of water quality varies based on the human activities type in each area. Based on the results of principal component analysis, it is known that the variability of several water quality variables also correlates with the human activities types, such as marine aquaculture and beach tourism
Surface Wettability and Colour Change of Betung Bamboo Strands Treated with 1% NaOH under Various Immersing Times
Bamboo was a material with enormous potential to be used as raw material for various purposes. This material has good properties for structural purposes such as buildings and furniture or converted to a composite product such as bamboo oriented strand board (BOSB). This study was aimed to determine the wettability properties and the colour change of Dendrocalamus asper bamboo strands after alkali immersing treatment with 1% NaOH solution. The treatments were carried out for 1, 2, and 3 hours, respectively. The wettability of surfaces is quantified by computing the value of the K parameter or the contact angle change rate constant. Meanwhile, the colour change parameter of bamboo strands was quantified by portable colour difference meter CDX – 105 to determine the brightness intensity of a combination of red–green and blue-yellow. The results show that the wettability properties of bamboo strands were getting better after the treatments. On the other hand, the bamboo strands' colour was darker due to the alkali immersion treatment. The optimum duration of alkali immersing treatment with 1% NaOH was 2 hours

This paper compiles research from various journals on forestry education and forestry research from various countries on different continents. The method used is a literature review by finding, analyzing, classifying, and concluding data from various accredited national and international journals indexed by Scopus and other references that support the locus of forestry education and training in native and artificial forests. The approach of each country in conducting forestry education and forestry research is adjusted to the policy, climate and budget availability. The challenges and management strategies carried out are also adapted to human resources, natural resources, educational curricula and the availability of budgets and policies of each country. The education curriculum is part of the challenge that is of particular concern because education plays a role in changing the citizen's paradigm of forest management
Analisis Sistem Antrian pada Pelayanan Help Desk UPT TIK Institut Teknologi Sumatera Menggunakan Teori Antrian
The analysis of the queuing system at the Help Desk service of the UPT TIK Institut Teknologi Sumatera includes the number of ticket arrivals, the average length of service time, and the number of service facilities (admin). The data for the number of Help Desk tickets are Poisson distributed and the service time is the Exponential distribution. The size of the steady-state in the service has a value of so that an analysis of the performance size of the queue system can be carried out. The data used in the study are Help Desk ticket data for the period November 2020-February 2021. The results obtained indicate that the queue model for the Help Desk service can be added to the server (admin). The addition of a server in the service can reduce the workload significantly. The queue model that can be applied is M/M/3:FCFS/∞/∞ by adding one server (admin), from the previous model, namely M/M/2:FCFS/∞/∞
Implementasi Pelatihan Perakitan Robotik Sederhana Terhadap Tingkat Kapasitas Tenaga Pengajar Sekolah Global Madani Bandar Lampung: Implementasi Pelatihan Perakitan Robotik Sederhana
Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dan inovatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan mengurangi sikap pasif siswa. Selain dapat membantu manusia dalam mengerjakan tugas-tugasnya, robot dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga pengajar sehingga dapat secara mandiri membuat robot sederhana sebagai media pembelajaran serta mengajarkannya ke peserta didik. Pelatihan robotik sederhana dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi dan simulasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi hasil pelatihan yang diberikan di setiap akhir pertemuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman tenaga pengajar mengenai robot dan perakitannya meningkat.
 
Pemanfaatan Biochar dalam Menurunkan Emisi Karbon di Hutan Industri
Indonesia memiliki hutan gambut tropis tebesar di dunia. Hutan menggunakan CO2 untuk fotosintesis. Hutan berperan penting dalam menyerap karbon dalam suatu daerah. Tingginya pemekaran pembangunan juga memicu terjadinya pembukaan lahan di hutan tropis. Salah satu metode yang paling sering digunakan dalam pembukaan lahan adalah dengan cara pembakaran. Emisi karbon di hutan haru dihindarkan salah satunya menggunakan biochar. Biochar merupakan material kaya karbon yang dihasilkan dari proses pirolisis sederhana pada suhu rendah (100-300 oC). Material biochar merupaka ikatan rantai karbon yang dibuat dari biomasa. Pemanfaatan biochar telah banyak dilaporkan dalam penetralisir air tercemar dan sebagai penyerap karbon. Berbagai hasil riset yang dilakukan telah menguatkan fakta bahwa biochar merupakan material yang paling stabil dalam mencegah pelapasan karbon ke atmosfer. Biochar juga dilaporkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas tanah, meningkatkan hasil panen pada industri pertanian dan mampu menjaga kestabilan tanah dengan memperbaiki nilai Dissolve Organic Carbon (DOC) tanah. Pemanfaatan biochar juga akan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di sekitar area industri apabila pemerintah mendorong dan melakukan pelatihan agar masyarakat di wilayah industri dapat memproduksi biochar dan menjualkan kepada perusahaan
Pengaruh Variasi Fraksi Volume Terhadap Kekuatan Tarik Komposit Berpenguat Gabungan Serat Pelepah Pisang dan Serat Daun Nanas
Composite fiber composite is the process of making composites using 2 or more kinds of fibers as reinforcement. The choice of fiber and the volume fraction between fibers greatly affect the strength of a composite. So, it is necessary to do further research on the effect of volume fraction variations of banana midrib fiber and pineapple leaf fiber on the strength of the composite. This study aims to identify the effect of volume fraction variations of the combined banana midrib and pineapple leaf fiber on the tensile strength and flexural composites. The composite manufacturing process is carried out by the compression molding method. With variations in volume fraction of banana midrib fiber and pineapple leaf fiber, respectively 10:20, 12.5:17.5, 15:15, 17.5:12.5 and 20:10. After the molding process, the density calculation, tensile test and bending test are carried out. The results of the characterization that have been carried out show that the highest tensile strength value is in the volume fraction variation of 20:10 of 26.55 MPa and the highest value of tensile strength is obtained at the volume fraction variation of 12.5:17.5 of 66.63 MPa
EVALUASI PENGARUH PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN KAWASAN INDUSTRI DAN PELABUHAN INTERNASIONAL (KIPI) TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN WILAYAH: STUDI KASUS: KABUPATEN BULUNGAN
The International Port and Industrial Estate Development (KIPI) is a national status project located in North Kalimantan. The KIPI project started in 2016 in accordance with law number 02 of 2016. This international port and industry has an investment value of USD billion 45.98 with an area of ±10,000 ha. The problem that usually occurs due to the entry of industrial activities is the occurrence of conflict, so research is needed to find out how much conflict and regional changes occur. The study was conducted using a combination of deductive and qualitative methods with the aim of assessing the spatial, economic and social impacts of industrial and international port development. The influence on the spatial aspect of development which is already large enough to change local revenue by 34.67%. In turn, social and environmental impacts on industrial estates and international ports have an influence that does not lead to conflict
UJI AKTIVITAS EKSTRAK BUNGA KECOMBRANG (Etlingera elatior Jack) SEBAGAI HIPOLIPIDEMIA PADA TIKUS WISTAR OBESITAS
Kecombrang (Etlingera elatior Jack) is a plant that has potential for hypolipidemia. Kecombrang has secondary metabolites consisting of tannins, saponins, alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids, phenolics, and flavonoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the hypolipidemic activity of kecombrang flower methanol extract in obesed Wistar rats fed a high-fat diet. The test animals used in this study were 18 female white rats aged two months, weight of ± 150 grams. The test animals were divided into three groups, namely normal control (only given standard feed), high-fat control (obesed rats with high-fat diet), and flower treatment group (obesed rats with a high-fat diet + flower methanol extract 100 mg/kgBW) orally for 30 days. The results showed that kecombrang flowers reduced total cholesterol levels by 55.5%, triglycerides (TG) by 57.4%, LDL by 76.73%, and increased HDL by 42.96%. The kecombrang flower has the potential for hypolipidemia which is characterized by a decrease in total cholesterol, TG, LDL, and can increase HDL levels in obese rats significantly (p<0.05)
