Bosnian Vowels Analysis Using Formant Frequencies
One way for analysis of vowels in any language is an analysis using formant frequency analysis. The Bosnian language has five vowels and those are a, e, i, o, u. The research was conducted in such a way that words with a minimum of two identical vowels per word were selected for each vowel. Several samples were then collected that recorded each of the words, and then those words were analyzed in PRAAT software. The total number of samples was 1050, twenty-one subjects were included, twelve females and nine males. Each of them recorded ten words for each of five vowels, therefore fifty words by each subject. The outcomes are based on related articles and dissertations, recognition, and analysis of vowels. Recognition was based on the statement, reading the literature, that each person has a narrow band of F4 formant values that should identify the person. And the analysis part was done by comparing formant values. Also, the work was based on gender differences for this analysis, as well as some other small observations, for example, the difference between native and other speakers of the Bosnian language
Effective use of machine learning to solve socio-economic problems
To study of the dependence of the offer price of a residential real estate object in Almaty on a number of factors (apartment area; number of rooms; material from which the house is built; floor on which the studied object is located; kitchen area; type of bathroom; presence of a balcony; distance from the city center; availability of an elevator; condition of the apartment in terms of the need for repairs; age of the house; belonging to the primary or secondary real estate market). The obtained machine learning models can be used to make forecasts of the cost of residential real estate, which can be reflected in the development of programs for the socio-economic development of municipalities and the region as a whole, will be in demand by investors, other counterparties in the residential real estate market and individuals. when assessing the acquired social and domestic benefits. The authors see the continuation of research based on the accumulation of an array of information in expanding the possibilities of modeling the cost of apartments, depending not only on the characteristics of apartments, but also on characteristics that reflect the influence of external factors on the regional market of residential real estate
Statistical Texture Mean-Windowing Feature of Snake Identification
Snake identification has been explored in various domains such as the image processing domain. In Malaysia, many of the snake species are non-venomous but still dangerous to the human. Conventionally, snake identification is evaluated by collecting the information from the patient. However, it is very hard and difficult to recognize the venomous and non-venomous snake types. Also, doctors need to inject the anti-venom into the patient which produced the side effect. Therefore, this paper classified the venomous snake of Naja Kaouthia and other venomous snake species. All the image datasets have been captured at Malacca Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary, Melaka. The statistical vectors are extracted by using the normalized mean-moving windows. The taxonomical statistical texture vectors of snake region features are classified using Tree, K-Nearest Neighbor, Support Vector Machine, and Naïve Bayes classifiers. Results showed that most of the classifiers produced an accuracy rate of 100%
Multi Language Text Editor
The text editors that are available only enable the users to write in a single language for example in English language. Therefore, the Malaysian users who consist of 3 major ethnics such Malay, Chinese and Indian people are unable to write in their own language known as Bahasa Melayu for Malay people, Chinese for Chinese language and Tamil for Indian people. As to resolve this matter, the system provides a feature whereby the users may write text in the three languages mentioned above. Next, the text editors are text- based thus, it doesn’t allow users to have image input in the content, which is why the system produce a new feature to allow users to upload image. Furthermore, users are unable to check the number of words written in the text content, instead they have to count it manually. As a solution, the system consist a feature that display the number of words written. Moreover, text editors doesn’t have a feature to change the color of specific words so the system allows the user to set color for the text content rather than letting it being in a default color (black). Finally, whenever user would like to save the text content in other file formats, they are unable to do so in the existing text editors. Hence, the system comes up with a new feature that allows the user to save in plain text, word document and rich-text format
MQTT And TCP Socket JavaScript Interface For Hybrid Mobile Applications
Today's needs require portable platforms such as mobile and IoT devices to be used more widely. The mobile platform development industry has grown rapidly as a result of the requirements of today's needs. There are various operating systems available on market such as iOS and Android. Naturally, software companies need to run their applications on multiple operating systems. Therefore, the software companies need to develop a new software with the native programming language of each operating system. Some frameworks like Cordova make possible to develop hybrid applications which based on web technologies and they are able to run on multiple operating systems. In some cases, developers may need to access device resources. In these cases, the developers should develop custom plugin for the hybrid framework. In this study, a plugin for Cordova framework has been developed that allows you to interact between web technologies and MQTT and TCP protocols through the JavaScript API

Deep Learning on Wound Segmentation and Classification: A Short Review and Evaluation of Methods Used
The abundance of research on wound segmentation suggests that it is significant in order to provide a good analysis and assistance in the medical field. Although there is some relative dearth of wound segmentation on other approaches, this review finds that deep learning is central to the objective of image segmentation. Here, the review informs on the methods that are credible towards wound segmentation, training, classification, validation of datasets, data collection, and evaluation of segmented images. While the literature establishes a clear connection between the segmentation algorithms of the object, therefore this study seeks to find the segmentation algorithm directly applicable to wound assessment
Examining the 4th Grade Curriculum in the Context of Digital Competence
As technology develops very fast, tools such as computers, internet and mobile phones shape our lives. Societies are trying to keep up with the changes brought by technology. In this context, digital citizenship is a new dimension of citizenship that has emerged thanks to the developments in technology. In the Curriculum, "Mathematical Competence and Basic Competencies in Science/Technology" and "Digital Competence" have been determined as competencies related to digital citizenship. The purpose of this research is to examine the 4th Grade Curriculum in the context of digital competence. Document analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis technique. When we look at the findings, it has been determined that digital competence is reflected in the achievements at a rate of 5.0% in all curriculums
“Visory” Mobile Application for the Visually Impaired
Unquestionably, visual impairment severely affects the quality of life and has an impact on many daily activities of the visually impaired individuals. Visory is a mobile application that aims to assist the visually impaired individuals with visual support, through human and automated visual support. Mobile phones are a norm; thus, solutions need to be created to assist the visually impaired while lessening the chances of discrimination against these individuals. With the help of volunteers, who opt to spend their valuable time helping others, the visually impaired individuals are able to connect via video calling and inquire for visual assistance using their device camera. Visory is also equipped with three vision APIs to ease further the life of these individuals, which includes object detection, text, and image recognition. Considering the limited time and budget of the project, Agile methodology is utilized to ensure the successful development of each of the modules within the stipulated deadline. Wide range of extensive testing techniques ensured minimal crashes, and uncovered bugs rectified. Ultimately, the objectives of the project were achieved. However, there is still room for improvement that needs to be addressed in future development for further stability and performance
Development of Foldable Motorized Walker for Stability and Balancing
The number of elderly people in Malaysia is gradually increasing as the population ages. These elderly people, particularly those suffering from disease-related mobility issues, are finding it increasingly difficult to walk as their physical abilities deteriorate. For children and teens who need help walking, walkers are designed especially for the needs and bodies of younger users. A walker, also known as a walking frame, is a device that helps disabled people maintain balance and stability while walking. Whether a child needs short-term assistance after an injury or illness or due to a long-term disability or medical condition, walkers are an excellent solution for safe and comfortable mobility. Older adults are often prescribed walking aids to encourage balance and mobility. Most walkers on the market are only able to be folded only once, causing huge sizes, so these walkers are not convenient for carrying, transportation and storage. The goal of this project is to design a foldable rollator walker into a virtually flat configuration for effective mobility-aid devices. Then, it is used to assess stability and balancing walking aid users based on the biomechanics principle. This foldable walker is a mobility-aid device that can be folded easily for transportation and reduce the user’s physical power when lifting it. The combination of the walker and the motorized system would help the users to walk faster while using a walker. That way, this walker enables users to walk faster with less exhaustion. This walker also can be folded easily and it reduces the physical power when the users lift it
