Third, the ethical model of buzzing (dissemination of information) on social media according to the Qur\u27an and Hadith. The research method used is literature studies and is descriptive analytical. Primary data sources in the form of the Qur\u27an and hadith processed using the Maktabah Syamilah are traced with a theme that corresponds to the buzzer material. Data analysis using content analysis techniques. This research resulted in the conclusion that buzzer practices in digital platforms were adopted from the diffusion theory of innovation. This theory describes the process of how an innovation or idea is communicated through a particular channel continuously over time to a group of members of a social system. Content / messages created by buzzers are processed using simulacra theory. In simulacra theory, man does not exist in the presence of real reality, but always thinks imaginary and delusional in seeing reality. This situation makes truth and falsehood, reality and design have something in common and difficult to distinguish. This situation is what gives rise to the great destructive potential of buzzers to the order of society, so that buzzer activity on social media needs to be regulated by the rule of law derived from the ethics of the Quran and hadith. The ethics of the Qur\u27an and hadith stipulate that man has rights and obligations

This article contains the moderate thoughts offered by Yusuf al-Qardhawi in understanding al-Sunnah. Sunnah is defined differently according to the scientific field emphasized. There is a definition of sunnah according to hadith experts, ushul fiqih experts and jurists. Sunnah in terms of content, there are sunnah qauliyyah, sunnah fi\u27liyah and taqririyah. The degree of sunnah is second only to the Qur\u27an. The division of the sunnah into tasyri\u27iyah and ghairu tasyri\u27iyah had its seeds in the classical period of the history of Islamic law. In the contemporary period the division of the sunnah into tasyri\u27iyah and ghairu tasyr\u27iyah got its perfect form. One of the scholars who developed the distribution of the sunnah is Yusuf al-Qardhawi. He emphasized a moderate understanding in understanding the sunnah. The trick is to divide the sunnah into sunnah tasyri\u27iyah and ghairu tasyri\u27iyah so as not to fall into an extreme understanding, as groups that claim sunnah in its various forms must be obeyed and groups that claim to separate worldly things from religions that are too extreme. This idea is an idea that is considered effective in balancing religious understanding so as not to become a group that is too extreme left or right. Especially in the midst of widespread intolerance, extremism and radicalism that is exposed to some contemporary Muslim society

This study aims to find the concept of immortality in Iqbal\u27s view by making it relevant to human action in the world. Human action that leads to morality is needed to provide awareness that human perfection can only be achieved by maximizing actions in accordance with the enhancement of his self-concept. To achieve this goal, this study uses qualitative methods with the type of literature study. As an analysis tool, this study uses content analysis techniques. Based on the data generated, this study found that conscious and free human action is the key for humans to achieve perfection. The resulting perfection can lead humans to immortality by absorbing the surrounding reality, including the absorption of the great ego of the Most Perfect. The offer of perfection given by Iqbal reconstructs the concept of timelessness in the views of classical Islamic thinkers that lead to life after death. Eternal in Iqbal\u27s view does not refer to a place but to a state so that Heaven and Hell which are considered places of eternity are conditions related to the process of human attainment towards immortality

Dehumanization of Women by Da\u27iyah (Media Contest in Religious Lectures)

    Get PDF
The dehumanization of women in the religious framework in the media is in the form of defining women as "free" human beings. The narrative is strongly framed because it is socialized by the da\u27i (male) and the da\u27iyah. There have not been many studies that have paid attention to the substance of religion, how the da\u27iyah (women preachers) are actively and massively involved in delivering their da\u27wah material which translates women, not as creatures that need to be humanized based on religious doctrine through the lectures of three da\u27iyah Mamah Dedeh (Dedeh Rosdiana); dr. Aisyah Dahlan and Dr. Oki Setiana Dewi through the youtube channel in six contents. Three questions were posed: (1) How are (religious) values regarding the dehumanization of women presented in religious lectures in the media; (2) How is the role of da\u27iyah in influencing the dehumanization of women; (3) How is the media contestation in religious lectures that do not humanize women. Misinterpretations in the form of dehumanization of women by the da\u27iyah are generally caused by a literal, partial, and superficial reading of religious doctrines. Therefore, although it is realized that the ideology of the media is never in line with religious values that are humanist and full of moral messages, religious lectures in the media need to be studied carefully, so that religious messages that are "more humane for women" through the media are not denied

This article discusses an alternative perspective in understanding the content of the Qur’an i.e., the perspective of minority Muslim scholars. The object of this study is the thought of tafsir Abdullah Saeed and Farid Esack who are positioned as Muslim scholars of Western institutions living as a minority, how their views of the Qur’an and how they develop interpretive methodologies according to the context of the environment in which they live. This article shows that the construction of the thought of Abdullah Saeed and Farid Esack positioned as minority scholars can represent its own contemporary model of interpretation. Abdullah Saeed with the idea of contextual interpretation laid out three bases of interpretive methodology: hierarchical values, contextual meaning, and systematic contextual interpretation. The three bases of the methodology are used to see the extent to which verses on ethical law can be understood and practiced in contemporary contexts while remaining grounded in the substance of the values carried when they are derived. While Farid Esack with his idea of liberative exegesis tried to break conservatism in South Africa with three methodological foundations: progressive revelation, reception hermeneutics, and the liberation theology of the Qur’an. The foundation of this methodology was used as a basis for value and legitimacy in supporting the agenda of popular solidarity between Muslims and non-Muslims in South Africa to overthrow the apartheid regime
