No full textIn this issue of Signifiances (Signifiyng) we will focus on a theoretical and dynamic point of view on the linguistic and semiotic dimensions at work in the constitution of individual and collective experience. The aim is to investigate the hypothesis of constitutive compatibility between two fundamental characteristics of meaning, namely its perceptibility and its sociality. These characteristics will be re-seized from the perspective of semiotic anthropology with a phenomenological, expressivist, and morphodynamic vocation. It is a perspective that is interested, at first sight, in the formation of the planes of expression which mediate the inscription and engagement of the subjects within social life. Thus, the various contributions will discuss a theoretical framework that encompasses what is called semiogenetic, which makes it possible to clarify the specific semiotic and semiolinguistic forms and issues that are imposed on the actors and constantly redirect their attention. Dans ce numéro de Signifiances (Signifiyng) on se focalisera d’un point de vue théorique et dynamique sur les dimensions langagières et sémiotiques à l’œuvre dans la constitution de l’expérience individuelle et collective. Le but est d’analyser dans le détail l’hypothèse d’une compatibilité constitutive entre deux caractéristiques fondamentales du sens, à savoir sa perceptibilité et sa socialité. Ces caractères seront ressaisis dans la perspective d’une anthropologie sémiotique à vocation phénoménologique, expressiviste et morphodynamique. Il s’agitd ‘une perspective qui est intéressée de prime abord à la formation des plans d’expression qui médiatisent l’inscription et l’engagement des sujets au sein de la vie sociale. Ainsi, les différentes contributions discuteront un cadre théorique englobant que l’on appelle sémiogénétique, qui permet d’expliciter les formes et les enjeux sémiotiques et sémiolinguistiques spécifiques qui s’imposent aux acteurs et redirigent en permanence leur attention
Les Hémiptères Pentatomoidea des collections du muséum Henri-Lecoq de Clermont-Ferrand
Get PDFThe inventory of Pentatomoidea hemipterans in the collections of the Henri-Lecoq museum was carried out in 2019. Six collections of Auvergne naturalists with 210 specimens were inventoried. Five families among the Pentatomoidea are studied. The original data appearing on the labels and identifications of 2019 are presented in order to enhance this historical and naturalist knowledge. The specimens are mainly from Auvergne but concern twelve French metropolitan departments in total. The period covered by the collections is from 1900 to 2005. Some specimens provide useful information on the distribution of species with regard to current knowledge.L’inventaire des hémiptères Pentatomoidea des collections du muséum Henri-Lecoq a été réalisé en 2019. Six collections de naturalistes auvergnats rassemblant 210 spécimens ont été inventoriées. Cinq familles parmi les Pentatomoidea sont étudiées. Les données originales figurant sur les étiquettes et les identifications de 2019 sont présentées afin de valoriser cette connaissance historique et naturaliste. Les spécimens sont majoritairement originaires d’Auvergne mais concernent douze départements français métropolitains au total. La période couverte par les collectes s’étend de 1900 à 2005. Certains spécimens apportent des informations utiles sur la répartition des espèces au regard des connaissances actuelles
Languaging as Emergent Constraint-satisfying Self-organizing Activity: Dialogical context-completing, context-making, and context-seeking dynamics

Selves have open-ended endogenous tendencies that strive for articulation in social situations. The final products of these tendencies -- specific utterances -- have functional capacities to enter into co-articulated relations with the other functioning components of larger-scale socio-affective-cognitive assemblages.
Internal processes of microgenetic construction that have their origins in the pre-linguistic infra-structure of the self are corporeally schematized and entrained to and shaped by global order parameters, e.g., lexicogrammatical pattern. Intrinsic functional constraints on languaging activity are the work of a complex non-optimized system (the self) that draws on available resources in context-sensitive ways in order to yield social and cognitive outcomes. Matérialité et développement des formes sémiotiques : de l’hyperobjet à la niche
Get PDFIn this contribution, we wish to highlight the role played by materiality in the constitution of semiotic forms. The notion of materiality goes beyond aspects related to the shaping of the signifying face of signs taken in isolation and directs attention towards the agency of the materials at work in any symbolic interaction. Thus, reflection on semiotic forms includes other semiotic processes and "objects" from the living to anthropic semiosis. In this framework, we will focus on the relationship between, on the one hand, the notion of "hyperobject" elaborated by the philosopher Timothy Morton within the framework of materialism and speculative realism with ecological aims, and, on the other hand, that of "niche construction" attested to in evolutionary anthropology and biosemiotics research. Dans cette contribution, nous souhaitons mettre en relief le rôle joué par la matérialité dans la constitution des formes sémiotiques. La notion de matérialité dépasse les aspects relatifs à la constitution de la face signifiante des signes pris isolément, et oriente l’attention vers l’agentivité des matériaux à l’œuvre dans tout type d’interaction symbolique. Ainsi, la réflexion sur les formes sémiotiques inclut d’autres processus et « objets » sémiotiques, allant du vivant jusqu’aux sémioses anthropiques. Dans ce cadre, nous nous attarderons sur la relation entre d’un côté, la notion d’« hyperobjet », élaborée par le philosophe Timothy Morton dans l’enceinte du matérialisme et du réalisme spéculatif à visée écologique, et de l’autre, celle de « construction de niche », attestée dans les recherches en anthropologie évolutionniste et en biosémiotique.

Le Lescuraeetum mutabilis Greter ex Wilm. 1962 dans le Massif central
Get PDFThe Lescuraeetum mutabilis Greter ex Wilm. 1962 (Neckeretea complanatae Marst. 1986) is an acidophilic corticolous association colonizing the base of the tortuous trunks of old beech trees, at the subalpine level or at the upper mountain level, within tracheophytic communities belonging respectively to the Acerion pseudoplatani (Oberdorfer 1957) Rameau in Rameau, Mansion & Dumé 1993 nom. nud., the Fagion sylvaticae Luquet 1926 (for neutrophilic communities) or the Luzulo luzuloidis-Fagion sylvaticae Lohmeyer & Tüxen in Tüxen 1954 (for acidophilic communities). This substratohygroclinophilic, psychrophilic association, strictly limited to high altitude forests, is characterized in the Massif central by the co-occurence of 4 species: Lescuraea saviana, L. mutabilis, Sciuro-hypnum reflexum and Sanionia uncinata. The high frequency of Lescuraea saviana is a regional originality of the association, considered insufficient to define a sub-association, but nevertheless allowing the individualization of a southern geographic race of this widely distributed association in the mountainous massifs of the European temperate zone. This cryophilic association is certainly highly sensitive to temperature increases and changes in precipitation regime and presents a strong conservation challenge.Le Lescuraeetum mutabilis Greter ex Wilm. 1962 (Neckeretea complanatae Marst. 1986) est une association corticole acidiphile colonisant la base des troncs tortueux des vieux hêtres, à l’étage subalpin, ou au montagnard supérieur, au sein de communautés trachéophytiques relevant respectivement de l’Acerion pseudoplatani (Oberdorfer 1957) Rameau in Rameau, Mansion & Dumé 1993 nom. nud., du Fagion sylvaticae Luquet 1926 (pour les communautés neutrophiles) ou du Luzulo luzuloidis-Fagion sylvaticae Lohmeyer & Tüxen in Tüxen 1954 (pour les communautés acidiphiles). Cette association substratohygroclinophile, psychrophile, strictement inféodée aux forêts alticoles, est caractérisée dans le Massif central par la présence de 4 espèces : Lescuraea saviana, L. mutabilis, Sciuro-hypnum reflexum et Sanionia uncinata. La haute fréquence de Lescuraea saviana est une originalité régionale de l’association, considérée comme insuffisante pour définir une sous-association, mais permettant cependant l’individualisation d’une race géographique méridionale de cette association largement répandue dans les massifs montagneux du domaine tempéré européen. Cette association cryophile présente certainement une grande sensibilité vis-à-vis de l’augmentation des températures et des modifications du régime de précipitation et possède un fort enjeu conservatoire
L\u27 Herbier d’un élève de l’Institution Agricole de Vals-près-Le-Puy (Haute-Loire)
Get PDFA herbarium produced in the 1920s/1930s by a student from the Agricultural Institution of Vals-près-le-Puy is described. This small herbarium of 43 sheets brings together plants collected around the institution and shows what a student should know in floristics during his studies. These small, often neglected collections bear witness to the banal flora of the early 20th century in Haute-Loire and to biological material that could be used for the future.Un herbier réalisé dans les années 1920/1930 par un élève de l’Institution agricole de Vals près Le Puy est décrit. Ce petit herbier de 43 planches rassemble des plantes collectées autour de l’institution et montre ce qu’un élève devait connaître en floristique lors de ses études. Ces petites collections, souvent négligées, sont des témoins de la flore banale du début du 20ème siècle en Haute-Loire et du matériel biologique qui pourra être utilisés pour l’avenir.

No full textThis article presents an up to date inventory of the Tawny sedge (Carex hostiana DC.) and its hybrid Carex ×fulva in Aveyron, France. Their synonymy is clarified, and their population’s locations in Aveyron are updated. A few locations are described in detail using phytosociological surveys and pH measurements. Hierarchical identification criteria are proposed based on bibliographical studies and biometric comparisons of both taxa.Notre article présente un inventaire actualisé de la Laîche de Host (Carex hostiana DC.) et de son hybride Carex ×fulva en Aveyron. Leur synonymie est clarifiée et la cartographie des stations aveyronnaises est mise à jour. Quelques stations sont décrites plus précisément à l’aide de relevés phytosociologiques accompagnés de mesures du pH. Des critères d’identification hiérarchisés sont proposés à partir d’une synthèse bibliographique et d’une comparaison biométrique des deux taxons
Dynamique sémiotique… et « anthropologie langagière » : une perspective (contrepoint « phénoménologique »)
Get PDFTaking as support five themes specific to semiotic dynamics: either the experiential subject and naturalness, the splitting, the historicity and its retention, the WE and finally the perspective of the Möbius strip and the helicoidal drift which sutures the splitting and tends to send us back with ourselves in a single plane from which we do not come out, it will be a question of wondering about the potential for meeting with other research traditions from the philosophical order, especially phenomenological (Merleau-Ponty, …); and therefore to compare, if not enter into resonance, this semiotic dynamics with other conceptualizations which do not identify with it and do not cover it, but which no doubt cross it. Therefore, the confrontation of certain points of conceptualization and certain displayed objectives can only be enriching.En prenant pour support cinq thèmes propres à la dynamique sémiotique : soit le sujet expérientiel et la naturalité, le clivage, l’historicité et sa rétention, le NOUS et enfin la perspective de l’anneau de Moebius et de la dérive hélicoïdale qui suture le clivage et tend à nous renvoyer à nous-mêmes dans un unique plan dont nous ne sortons pas, il s’agira de s’interroger sur les potentialités de rencontre envisageables avec d’autres traditions de recherche issues de l’ordre philosophique, tout particulièrement phénoménologique (cf. Merleau-Ponty) ; et donc de mettre en regard, sinon en résonance, cette dynamique sémiotique avec d’autres conceptualisations qui ne s’y identifient pas et ne la recouvrent pas, mais qui sans doute, la croisent. Dès lors, la confrontation de certains points de conceptualisation et de certains objectifs affichés ne peut qu’être enrichissante

Get PDFWe go through several conceptions of "form" (Plato, Aristotle, Gestalt Theory, Hjelmslev, Greimas) to understand how it may be seized, how it makes an event for a subjectal and sensitive center, and why all this implies that forms must be imperfect to be seizable. We will evoke in this respect two types of semiotic situations where forms appear unstable and relative to a subjectality: that of semiotic analysis, inspired by Hjelmslev and Greimas, and that of the confrontations between Umwelten and forms of life. The instability of the form is then attributed, as the case may be, either to changes of point of view in the process of analysis, or to any actor, the subjective center of forms of living, confronted with one another. to others (overlap, alternative, conflict, etc.). The advent of form is then rooted in the anthropological and bio-semiotic components of the construction of knowledge and meaning.Nous parcourons plusieurs conceptions de la « forme » (Platon, Aristote, la théorie de la gestalt, Hjelmslev, Greimas) pour comprendre comment elle se donne à saisir et comment elle fait événement pour un centre subjectal et sensible, et pourquoi tout cela implique que les formes soient imparfaites pour être saisissables. Nous évoquerons à cet égard deux types de situations sémiotiques où les formes apparaissent instables et relatives à une subjectalité : celle de l’analyse sémiotique, inspirée de Hjelmslev et Greimas, et celle des confrontations entre des Umwelten et des formes de vie. L’instabilité de la forme est alors imputée, selon le cas, soit aux changements de points de vue dans le processus d’analyse, soit à un acteur quelconque, centre subjectal des formes de vie, confrontées les unes aux autres (superposition, alternative, conflit, etc.).
