Analisis Pengaruh Peran Guru dan Gaya Pengasuhan Orang Tua terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Dengan Model Persamaan Struktural

    No full text
This study investigates the influence of teacher roles and parenting styles on character formation of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sleman Yogyakarta. Overcoming the limitations of previous studies that used multiple linear regression, this study adopted Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to model causal relationships between latent variables while controlling measurement errors. A sample of 200 students was selected through purposive sampling, with data collected via a Likert scale questionnaire 1-4 that has been validated through confirmatory factor analysis (? ? 0.70). Latent variables include: Teacher Role (X?) with 19 indicators (including motivators and facilitators), Parenting Style (X?) with 10 indicators (including democratic and responsive), and Character Formation (Y) with 24 indicators (including discipline and responsibility). The results of the SEM analysis showed a very good model fit (CFI=0.938; RMSEA=0.046; SRMR=0.048), revealing a significant influence of the Teacher's Role on Character Formation (?=0.36, *p*<0.001) and a stronger impact of Parenting Style (?=0.69, *p*<0.001). The findings also showed a high correlation between the two independent variables (?=0.71, *p*<0.001), confirming the synergy of the school-family environment. The dominance of the family's role in character education is balanced by the crucial contribution of teachers, with practical implications including democratic parenting programs, teacher training based on the role of motivators/facilitators, and holistic education policies. This study provides a methodological contribution through the application of SEM in the context of Islamic basic education as well as empirical validation of the ecological model of character formation

Analysis of Management of Legal Consequences of Service Provider Default on Project Delays: A Legal Study and Relational Approach to Dispute Prevention

    No full text
Delays in construction work execution represent one of the most common forms of default that trigger disputes between employers and contractors. Within Indonesia’s civil law framework, such default entails legal consequences including delay penalties, compensation, contract termination, and enforcement of performance bonds. This study examines these legal implications under the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata), Law No. 2 of 2017 on Construction Services, and several Supreme Court decisions with permanent legal force namely Decisions No. 294 PK/Pdt/2014, No. 3053 K/Pdt/2011, and No. 60 K/Pdt/2020. The research adopts a normative juridical approach supported by secondary data from literature review and judicial case analysis. It also proposes a dispute-prevention hypothesis founded on effective communication through guanxi, dynamic relationship, and personal approach, aimed at reinforcing loyalty and preventing conflict. The findings reveal that Indonesia’s positive legal system remains sanction-oriented and emphasizes legal certainty, whereas sustainable dispute prevention requires a paradigm grounded in relational trust. Integrating relational approaches into construction contract practice may establish equilibrium between legal certainty and substantive justice

The Influence of Digital Marketing and Neurolinguistic Programming on Increasing the Level of Welfare and Business Development in MSMEs in East Java

    No full text
This study aims to examine the influence of digital marketing and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) marketing on the improvement of welfare and business development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in East Java, Indonesia. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 200 MSME respondents across various sectors in East Java. Structural Equation Modelling using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to analyse the relationships between variables. The findings indicate that digital marketing has a significant and positive effect on both the welfare and business development of MSMEs. Additionally, NLP-based marketing, which leverages persuasive communication and emotional engagement techniques, positively influences consumer relationships, loyalty, and business growth. The integration of digital marketing and NLP marketing strategies produces a synergistic impact that surpasses the individual effects of each approach. The study is limited to MSMEs in East Java and may not fully reflect conditions in other regions. Future research could expand the geographical scope or explore sector-specific dynamics for deeper insights. The results provide practical insights for MSME actors and policymakers on the importance of combining technological tools with psychological marketing approaches to enhance competitiveness and sustainability. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by combining digital marketing with NLP-based strategies, highlighting their joint impact on MSME welfare and growth—an area rarely explored in the Indonesian context

Purpose: This study examines the effect of the Intellectual Capital Growth Rate (ROGIC) on the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, with Intellectual Capital (IC) as a mediating variable.  Design/Methodology/Approach: Using a quantitative approach and path analysis, data from seven Islamic banks registered with the OJK for the 2018–2023 period were analyzed to measure the direct and indirect effects of ROGIC on Return on Assets (ROA). Findings: The results showed that ROGIC did not significantly affect ICs in most banks, and its immediate impact was limited. However, in banks such as KB Bukopin Syariah and BTPN Syariah, ROGIC has a significant indirect effect on financial performance through IC. These findings emphasize the importance of effective IC management in improving financial performance. Research limitations/implications: The limitations of the study include a limited sample, so further research with a larger sample and additional variables is recommended. Practical implications: The practical implication is the need for IC optimization by Islamic bank management. This research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between intellectual capital growth and financial performance in the context of Islamic banking. Paper type: Research pape

Increased Productivity and Quality Of Presto Food Production through Automatic Presto Machines

Presto food is one of the favorite foods of Indonesians. Some of the favorite types of presto food are grilled chicken, presto duck, fish pepes, and presto milkfish. Sidoarjo Regency is one of the regions in East Java that has an area of 15,530 hectares of ponds that produce abundant milkfish of approximately 9,866,300 tons. This is a factor in the emergence of MSMEs engaged in the culinary sector, one of which is UKM Presto Sidoarjo. Limited production equipment causes the production process to be inefficient in terms of time and fuel. Marketing that has not been widespread and product packaging that is less attractive is a factor in the product being less known to the public. The implementation method is carried out through a participatory approach, training and mentoring, as well as discussion activities between the proposing team and partners. The result of this activity is the creation of an automatic presto machine that is able to increase production capacity from 5 kg per process to 10 kg per process and the formation of partners who are independent in using the machine and increasing sales turnover through marketing on social media and product packaging that has good, creative elements, imprints on consumers and labels

PENERAPAN PRINSIP PACTA SUN SERVANDA DALAM KASUS PELANGGARAN HAM PADA KEBIJAKAN OPEN THE GATE POLICYMILIK JERMAN

    No full text
ABSTRACT   This study examines the application of the pacta sunt servanda principle in the context of Germany’s Open the Gate Policy as a response to the Syrian refugee crisis. The pacta sunt servanda principle obliges states to honor international agreements they have ratified, including the 1951 Refugee Convention and various European Union regulations such as the Lisbon Treaty and the Dublin Regulation. In practice, Germany initially became one of the most open countries to refugees; however, this policy triggered serious challenges, including allegations of human rights violations in refugee camps and procedural inconsistencies with international standards. This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and historical approaches. The findings indicate that although Germany adhered to international agreements at the outset, it faced legal and reputational consequences due to inadequate human rights protections in implementation. The study recommends the importance of aligning domestic policies with international  obligations to prevent violations against refugees and asylum seekers. Furthermore, the active involvement of international institutions such as the UNHCR is essential in monitoring the enforcement of human rights principles at the global level.   Keywords: Pacta Sunt Servanda, Open the Gate Policy, Germany, Syrian Refugees, Human Rights Violations, International La
