STRATEGI DAN PERAN PEREMPUAN DALAM INDUSTRI BATIK DI LAWEYAN SURAKARTA: PENDEKATAN TEORI MOSER
Get PDFLaweyan is one of the oldest villages in Surakarta known as a center for batik production. With a long history and a network of active production houses, this area holds great potential in the development of culture-based creative economy. This research examines the role of women in the batik production process and the adaptive strategies they implement in facing various obstacles, using Moser's development theory which encompasses anti-poverty approaches, empowerment, and efficiency. Through a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with women batik makers, this study shows that women play a strategic role in household economic aspects and cultural social sustainability. They contribute to poverty reduction through income from batik (anti-poverty), strengthening capacity through financial management and skills enhancement (empowerment), and creating efficiency in production through division of labor and time management (efficiency). The strategies implemented include organizing daily finances, balancing work and rest time allocation, and improving product quality. These findings enrich the study of gender and the creative economy by emphasizing how women's work in the traditional sector can be seen as a form of agency as well as a contribution to community based sustainable development

Get PDFThe number of cases of violence against children that occur is considered as one indicator of the poor quality of child protection in Indonesia. The existence of children who have not been able to live independently certainly needs people as a place of refuge. The efforts to protect children's rights are a very important and urgent matter to discuss. Important and urgent considering that in recent years we have often been treated to various news and information about various acts of violence against children carried out by people who should be responsible for protecting these children. Islamic discourse and family law literature on the protection of children's rights is still very little to be found. Islamic Compilation of Law (KHI) and Indonesian Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 does not explicitly discuss the protection of the rights of children to legal sanctions for violators of children's rights in their articles. Likewise with some classical Jurisprudence literature does not concretely discuss the protection of children's rights and legal sanctions for violators of children's rights. This certainly has an impact on understanding and practices that occur in the community towards the pattern of protection of children's rights. This study will look at the concept and the development of child rights protection in Islamic family law and it’s concrete effort of Islamic family law in the protection of children's rights. This qualitative research method is a socio-legal study with a case approach. The findings of this study are in fact, many children are neglected in their lives, both in families who are still intact, father and mother, especially in families whose parents are separated (divorced). Child protection in Indonesia has not been comprehensively accommodated, this is because many children still do not get their rights. The factors include the lack of the role of parents regarding their obligations related to the rights of their children
Legal Analysis of Green Victimology in Environmental and Forestry Crimes
Get PDFEnvironmental and forestry crimes are serious violations that not only damage ecosystems but also threaten human sustainability. This study aims to examine the criminal law policy in addressing environmental crimes based on Law Number 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management, and to evaluate the application of criminal liability through in absentia procedures in illegal logging cases, as exemplified by the District Court Decision No. 954/Pid.Sus/2022/PN Mks. This research adopts a normative juridical approach with a descriptive-qualitative analysis of primary and secondary legal materials. The findings reveal that while the criminal law policy on environmental protection is normatively robust, its implementation faces challenges such as weak supervision and low public legal awareness. Furthermore, the in absentia mechanism has proven effective in ensuring justice when perpetrators evade legal proceedings, though it raises legal debates concerning the defendant’s right to a fair trial. This study underscores the need to strengthen regulations and procedural safeguards to enhance the effectiveness of environmental criminal law enforcement in Indonesia
Criminal Procedure Policy Related to the Provision of Legal Aid in Criminal Cases (Study in DPC PERADI Sibolga City)
Get PDFThis article examines the provision of legal aid to the underprivileged in criminal cases as categorized in Article 56 of the Criminal Procedure Code regarding the suspect's right to legal aid. This type of research uses normative legal research supported by empirical data, through the Statute Approach. This article explains how the provision of legal aid in criminal cases, which until now its implementation is still not in accordance with the current regulations, as well as what obstacles and efforts can be made to create equality before the law, and also the regulation in Article 146 paragraph (4) of the Draft Criminal Procedure Code (RKUHAP) which has decreased from the previous regulation in Article 56 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the results obtained from this study are that there are still many law enforcement officers in Sibolga City when carrying out their duties in terms of providing legal aid that is not in accordance with the provisions of the law, this article aims to find out, analyze the regulations, processes, obstacles and collective efforts to improve the regulation of legal aid, especially in criminal cases and realize equal distribution of legal aid

No full textBath bombs are an example of a bath salt product. Using bath bombs can help moisturize the skin and brighten it, as a relaxant, so it can help reduce stress, tension and fatigue suffered by the body. By making easily from these ingredients, a cosmetic product that is useful and has high economic value can be obtained. This service program is expected to provide knowledge and skills to housewives and young women who are among the customers of BWM Al Muna Berkah Mandiri about making bath bombs with affordable capital and can develop their business products. Material presentation activities by resource persons from the service team, namely: apt. Mega Karina Putri, M. Pharm. Sci., and continued with a training session on making bath bomb salt and questions and answers. Apart from that, a pre-test and post-test were also carried out to measure participants' understanding before and after the event. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it was concluded that there was an increase in participants' knowledge. Participants in the very good category experienced an increase of 12% and good there was an increase of 16%, while participants in the fair category experienced a decrease of 12% and poor there was a decrease of 16%. The training participants and participant representatives expressed their gratitude because this activity was very useful in providing participants with an understanding of the steps for making bath bomb sal

Get PDFAcute respiratory infection (ARI) is a major source of morbidity and mortality from infectious illnesses worldwide, accounting for approximately four million fatalities each year and having relatively high mortality rates among newborns, children, and the elderly, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Through one of the health promotion initiatives, this action aims to raise public awareness. Health promotion is carried out through lectures and discussions about the Acute Respiratory Infection-Free Community Movement. The results of the activity have been the implementation of Health examinations and increased public knowledge through observation and evaluation of open questions with the given theme. It is hoped that health promotion on the Acute Respiratory Infection-Free Movement will become a sustainable public health intervention model and be able to provide long-term benefits to the community

In the digital era, social media and online platforms have become primary tools for disseminating mental health messages. The language used in these campaigns plays a critical role in shaping audience understanding, perception, and attitudes. This study employs content analysis of mental health campaign messages distributed across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. The primary focus is on linguistic structure, metaphor usage, positive-negative word choices, and their emotional effects. The findings reveal that empathetic, inclusive, and straightforward language enhances audience acceptance and comprehension of mental health issues. Moreover, relevant metaphors and personal narrative-based communication styles prove effective in establishing an emotional connection with the audience. This research contributes to developing more effective communication strategies for promoting mental health through digital media
