    No full text
Abstract: This study examines the development of Hadith studies in Indonesia during the period 2014–2024 by analyzing doctoral dissertations from three prominent institutions: UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, UIN Sumatera Utara, and UIN Alauddin Makassar. Historically, these universities have been among the earliest providers of doctoral programs in Islamic studies and have played a significant role in shaping the production of Islamic knowledge in Indonesia. The research aims to map the typologies of Hadith studies, the issues addressed, and the methodologies employed. Data were collected through higher education repositories, from which relevant dissertations were identified, cataloged, and analyzed. The findings reveal that, within the studied period, there were 78 dissertations covering diverse topics. The typology shows that 37 dissertations (47.43%) focused on character-based studies, followed by 23 (29.48%) thematic Hadith studies, 10 (12.82%) studies on ‘Ulūm al-Hadīth, and 8 (10.26%) studies on the application of Hadith in everyday life. This distribution reflects the methodological development within the field, although the discourse remains dominated by intellectual-historical approaches and thematic Hadith studies. Keywords: Islamic knowledge, hadith studies, dissertations, State Islamic Universitie

This study examines the Galang Batang agreement as a form of conflict resolution between husband and wife in Gunung Manaon 1 Village from the perspective of Islamic law. Galang Batang is a local customary practice that serves as an informal mediation method in resolving marital disputes. The aim of this study is to understand the implementation mechanism of the Galang Batang agreement, its effectiveness in preserving household harmony, and the extent to which this practice aligns with Islamic legal principles, particularly in terms of justice, public interest (maslahah), and family dispute resolution. This research employs a qualitative method with a normative-sociological approach, through interviews with traditional leaders, married couples, and local religious figures. The findings reveal that Galang Batang not only functions as a means of conflict resolution but also reinforces social and religious values. From the perspective of Islamic law, this practice is acceptable as long as it does not contradict the sharia and upholds the principles of consultation (shura), justice, and peace. Therefore, Galang Batang represents a form of harmonization between customary law and Islamic law in resolving family conflicts

CONSUMER PROTECTION AGAINST GHOST SELLERS IN THE SHOPEE MARKETPLACE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF LAW NUMBER 8 OF 1999 CONCERNING CONSUMER PROTECTION AND COMPILATION OF SHARIA ECONOMIC LAW

The rapid development of information technology has driven the emergence of various forms of electronic commerce (e-commerce), including marketplace platforms such as Shopee. This online transaction model has transformed the interaction between sellers and buyers into a non-face-to-face system, thus creating new complexities in the legal relationship between businesses and consumers. Amidst this progress, the phenomenon of ghost sellers has emerged, namely fictitious sellers (fake store accounts) who are irresponsible and misuse the platform's identity and system to deceive consumers, one of which is by sending goods that do not match the description or not sending goods at all. This phenomenon is increasingly widespread with the increase in digital transactions on e-commerce platforms, especially during major promotional events such as Harbolnas and Ramadan Sale. This study aims to examine the analysis of ghost seller practices in the Shopee marketplace, the form of consumer protection for ghost sellers in the Shopee marketplace from the perspective of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and the Compilation of Sharia Economic Law, as well as Shopee's responsibility for losses experienced by consumers. This study uses a normative method with a statutory approach and a study of Islamic legal literature to analyze the responsibilities of businesses and protection of consumer rights. The results of the study indicate that the form of consumer protection that is harmed by ghost sellers on the Shopee platform is related to violations of the provisions of Articles 4, 7, 8 and 19 of the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK) which guarantees consumers' rights to comfort, security, correct and honest information, and products that comply with the agreement, and are prohibited in the KHES because they contain elements of fraud (tadlis) and ambiguity (gharar) as regulated in articles 22, 23, and 24 of the KHES. On the other hand, Shopee is responsible for consumer losses by providing protection through a complaint system, Shopee guarantee and a refund mechanism if the item does not match the description. However, if the transaction is carried out outside the official Shopee system, the loss is the responsibility of the consumer. Therefore, both in positive law and Islamic economic law, consumer protection is an obligation that must be enforced to maintain trust and fairness in online transactions

Embalming a corpse without a clear purpose is prohibited, even forbidden, in Islam, while according to the 2007 MUI fatwa, embalming for educational purposes is permitted. However, some scholars have different views, some reject this practice on the grounds that the corpse must be honored and it is prohibited to damage or change body parts for a long time. Furthermore, there are other opinions that state that they agree and remain permitted as long as it is for a clear purpose. This study aims to determine the law of embalming a corpse according to the views of scholars in Sumedang Regency and Majalengka Regency, existing regulations in Indonesia, and the opinions of health workers and nursing academics. In this study, the data analysis method used is a qualitative field data analysis method with an in-depth interview approach to explore the views of several figures consisting of scholars, health workers and academics in nursing. The results of the study show that religious scholars, health workers, and nursing academics in Sumedang Regency and Majalengka Regency agree and allow the act of preserving corpses for educational purposes, namely as cadavers, because it is considered that this can provide many benefits such as being able to help the greater good, namely to increase knowledge and cure millions of sick people for the development of human knowledge in the world

This study analyzes the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia No. 18 of 2021 concerning Fishing Equipment in Marine Waters in Sibolga City from the perspective of Siyasah Dusturiyah. The research applies a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Findings indicate that the regulation aligns with sustainable fisheries management principles and has contributed to reducing destructive fishing practices, positively impacting coral reef restoration and fish stock recovery. However, effectiveness remains constrained by limited surveillance capacity, overlapping institutional authority, and the economic burden on small-scale fishers. From the Siyasah Dusturiyah perspective, the policy embodies maslahah ‘ammah but lacks full implementation of al-‘adl, amanah, and syura. Strengthening community participation, providing equitable economic support, and enhancing inter-agency coordination are recommended to balance environmental sustainability with fishermen’s welfare

This study aims to describe the role of parents in shaping the religious character of elementary school-aged children in Dusun Ngayung, Sumberagung Village, Plumpang Sub-district, Tuban Regency, particularly in the context of challenges brought by the digital era. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that while religious education institutions such as TPQ (Qur'anic learning centers) exist and function in the community, parental involvement plays a more crucial role in embedding religious values. However, many parents have not yet consistently guided their children in religious practice, often due to limited time, low digital literacy, and a tendency to rely solely on formal or non-formal education. The study also found that excessive and unsupervised use of digital media by children tends to weaken their interest and engagement in religious activities. Some parents have made positive efforts by limiting screen time, encouraging daily prayers, and being role models at home, but these practices remain limited in scope. The study concludes that collaborative efforts between parents, educational institutions, and the wider community are essential to foster religious character in children, especially in balancing technological advancement with spiritual development
