Among the Hebrew documents that have been found at the Tudela Municipal Archives ten years ago, we can find in an appendix to a Kětûbbâ, the document that is published here, according to which a possible future yabam takes the engagement, at his brother's wedding, to confer the ḥalîṣâ to the yěbamâ whenever the case arrives. This practice was not usual in Spain, but it was in France, and, although the document was dated at Tudela, the yabam, Mosheh of Narbonne, and his family were of French origin.

This article analyses the Ugaritic text KTU 1.124, departing from the later studies on it, and drawing forward some new insights. For instance, the expression adn ilm rbm is considered to be a royal title in connection with the sovereign that makes the cultic consultation. A new version is also suggested for the word wlk/(1). Finally, a certain parallelism between KTU 1.124 and the biblical text of 1 Sam 28 is pointed out.
The copy of the work Later Prophets with a Commentary by Don Isaac Abravanel (1520), kept in the Law School Library of the Complutensian University of Madrid, has in its margins and flyleaves some notes written by Alfonso de Zamora (Alcalá de Henares 1534). The notes are mainly in Hebrew but some of them are written in Spanish or in Latin. In one of these notes, written in Latin, Alfonso de Zamora tries to explain the meaning of laḥpor perôṯ (Is 2,20). Zamora's explanation is dependent on the traditional commentators, but he adds interpretative meanings in order to obtain an original synthesis.

The ex libris of Cipriano de la Huerga consists of a band coming out from a background of clouds or waves, and grasping a drill; the emblem is encircled by five concentric circles with the Latin inscription auditus per verbum Dei, the Hebrew one יחןח פתח לי אזן ןאנכי לא מךיתי, and the Greek one Tῶ Xριστῶ. The authors maintain that the ex libris is not the printer's -Juan de Brocar- work, but Cipriano's mark, in the light of his writings, especially his commentary on Psalm 130.El ex libris de Cipriano de la Huerga consiste en una mano que sale de un fondo de nubes u olas y empuña un taladro; el emblema va rodeado por cinco círculos concéntricos y la inscripción latina auditus per verbum Dei, la hebrea
Fourteen kilometres away from Toledo, in the Castle of Guadamur, built by Don Pedro López de Ayala «The Younger» during the reign of Henry IV of Castille, there is a Hebrew inscription under the coffered ceiling of the so-called «Arabic Hall», containing verses 2-4 and the first word of verse 5 of Psalm 30, that was carved during the restoration of the castle in the 19th centrury. It is very likely that the Conde de Cedillo, who cooperated in the restoration with Don Carlos Morenes y Tord, Barón de las Cuatro Torres and Conde de Asalto, then owner of the castle, drew his inspiration from a similar inscription of the Women's Gallery in the El Tránsito Synagogue which, most of it, has gone last nowadays.
An analysis of the main sentence in votive dedications in Ancient Aramaic shows that there were, as early as 9th century BC, some patterns peculiar to Aramaic in opposition to those of the Assyrian language as it is shown in comparing the Aramaic and Assyrian texts of the statue of Hadyiṯ‛i. In Aramaic two principal patterns are used: šm [śym] qdm N and šm l-, both followed by the name of a divinity or a person. These two patterns appear to reflect two different settings -inside or outside- in the dedication of a temple. Other verbs used in dedications are also examined. The verb šm [śym] is the most frequently attested in opposition to the verb qwm mostly used in later Aramaic votive inscriptions. IX a.
