Metaphor Use in ABBA Song Lyrics
This study analyzes conceptual metaphors in two ABBA songs, namely “Slipping Through My Fingers” and “The Winner Takes It All.” The analysis applies Lakoff and Johnson’s (1980) theory, which classifies metaphors into three types: structural, ontological, and orientational metaphors. The data consist of 17 metaphorical expressions collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. The results show that “Slipping Through My Fingers” is dominated by ontological metaphors that conceptualize time, memory, and emotions as physical entities that can be held, stored, or lost. Meanwhile, “The Winner Takes It All” is dominated by structural metaphors that represent romantic relationships as a competitive game involving winning, losing, and rules. These findings demonstrate that metaphors in both songs strengthen emotional expression and transform abstract experiences into concrete and perceptible imager

Mapping Students’ Misconceptions in Chemical Bonding Using the Four-Tier Diagnostic Test
Students’ understanding of Lewis structures and the octet rule remains a fundamental challenge in chemistry learning and is frequently characterized by conceptual difficulties. This study aims to describe the conceptual understanding profile of Chemistry Education students on Lewis structures and related sub-concepts using a Four-Tier Diagnostic Test. A descriptive quantitative research design was employed, involving 17 students from the Chemistry Education Study Program. The diagnostic instrument consisted of 15 items representing valence electrons, Lewis structures–octet rule, formal charge, resonance, octet exceptions, central atom determination, and coordinate covalent bonding. The results indicate that students’ conceptual understanding is dominated by non-scientific categories. Only 10.20% of responses demonstrate sound conceptual understanding, whereas misconceptions and lack of knowledge account for 41.57% and 48.24% of responses, respectively. These findings suggest that most students have not yet developed an adequate conceptual understanding of Lewis structures. Item-level analysis reveals pronounced conceptual weaknesses in the Lewis structures–octet rule concept, as well as a complete lack of conceptual knowledge in formal charge, resonance structure determination, odd-electron octet exceptions, and central atom determination. Furthermore, very high proportions of misconceptions (94.12%) are identified in specific diagnostic items related to resonance concepts and coordinate covalent bonding.Overall, the findings demonstrate widespread conceptual difficulties across advanced subtopics related to Lewis structures, highlighting the need for instructional strategies that emphasize conceptual change and strengthen students’ representational understanding

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the decision to use QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) in transactions among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), The variables examined include financial literacy, service quality, lifestyle, security, and ease of use. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 199 QRIS users within the UMKM sector in Jakarta. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to identify the influence of each variable. The results indicate that lifestyle, security, and ease of use have a positive and significant affect on the decision to use QRIS, while financial literacy and service quality do not show a significant influence. These findings suggest that an understanding of the digital lifestyle as well as perceptions of security and technological convenience are key determinants in driving QRIS adoption among UMKM. The implications of this study highlight the importance of digital lifestyle education and enhancing security features to encourage broader QRIS usage within the UMKM sector
Mathematical Analysis of Typhoid Fever Dynamics with Age-Structured Control Measures
This research develops a mathematical model to investigate the dynamics of typhoid fever by incorporating age structure, vaccination and treatment strategies. Recognizing that different age groups display varying susceptibility and contact rates, the model provides a detailed representation of transmission. The analysis is to emphasize how vaccination programs and treatment interventions, when tailored to age-specific characteristics, can significantly reduce transmission and control outbreaks. The system of nonlinear differential equations describing the disease dynamics is analyzed and solved using the homotopy perturbation method. This analytical approach allows for an approximation of solutions while capturing the nonlinear interactions within the system. Sensitivity analysis is carried out to determine the most influential parameters on disease spread, particularly those affecting the basic reproduction number. The simulations reveal that increasing vaccination coverage and treatment rates leads to a decline in typhoid fever cases across all age groups. Age-targeted interventions are shown to enhance the effectiveness of control strategies compared with uniform measures. Sensitivity analysis result further indicate that parameters such as vaccination rate, treatment efficacy and contact patterns play vital roles in disease progression and a potential for its eradication

Service Quality, Waiting Time, and Healthcare Facilities Predict Patient Satisfaction: Evidence from North Jakarta Workers’ General Hospital
Patient satisfaction is an important indicator of outpatient service performance. This study examined the effects of service quality and waiting time on patient satisfaction, with healthcare facilities as a moderating variable, at North Jakarta Workers’ General Hospital. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among 96 outpatients selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, with a path coefficient of 0.349 and a p-value of 0.002. Waiting time also had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, with a path coefficient of 0.409 and a p-value below 0.001, indicating that better service timeliness and efficiency were associated with higher satisfaction. Healthcare facilities had a positive and significant direct effect on patient satisfaction, with a path coefficient of 0.256 and a p-value of 0.004. In the moderation model, healthcare facilities weakened the relationship between service quality and patient satisfaction, with a path coefficient of -0.220 and a p-value of 0.039, but strengthened the relationship between waiting time and patient satisfaction, with a path coefficient of 0.270 and a p-value of 0.006. These findings indicate that patient satisfaction is influenced not only by service quality and service timeliness but also by healthcare facilities and their interaction with core service variables. Hospitals should therefore prioritize integrated improvements in service quality, timeliness of care, and facility support to enhance outpatient satisfaction
In Silico Screening of Annona Metabolites Against CYP17A1 and β-tubulin Using PLANTS Docking
Prostate cancer progression is closely associated with androgen biosynthesis mediated by cytochrome P450 17A1 (CYP17A1) and with microtubule dynamics regulated by β-tubulin, making both proteins important therapeutic targets. The Annona genus is a rich source of acetogenins with reported anticancer potential; however, their interactions with prostate cancer–related targets remain insufficiently explored. In this study, an in silico exploratory approach was employed to evaluate 30 Annona-derived compounds against CYP17A1 (PDB ID: 3RUK) and β-tubulin (PDB ID: 1JFF) using the PLANTS (v1.1) molecular docking program. Docking protocol validation was based on RMSD values ≤ 2 Å, and compound prioritization was performed using docking scores and binding-site residue similarity relative to native ligands and reference drugs. The docking results identified squafosacin-C as the top-ranked compound for both targets, exhibiting docking scores of −133.289 for CYP17A1 and −131.825 for β-tubulin. These values were more favorable than those of the native ligands (−82.5591 and −103.071) and the reference drugs abiraterone and docetaxel (−83.6465 and −99.7319, respectively). Visualization analysis further revealed that squafosacin-C shares 7 of 8 key amino acid residues involved in native ligand binding at both targets, indicating a conserved binding mode. In conclusion, based on molecular docking and interaction analysis, squafosacin-C emerges as a promising lead compound at the computational level for targeting CYP17A1 and β-tubulin in prostate cancer. These findings provide a rationale for further investigation through molecular dynamics simulations and experimental validation to confirm its biological activity
CareDia Book Education for Type 2 Diabetes: A One-Group Pre–Post Study at Pandak II Health Centre
Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease and one of the most prevalent chronic conditions in Indonesia. Medication adherence and self-care behaviour play an important role in achieving optimal disease control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Educational support using structured media such as the CareDia Book may facilitate behavioural improvement. This study aimed to evaluate changes in medication adherence and self-care behaviour following CareDia Book–based education among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Pandak II Community Health Centre. A quasi-experimental one-group pre–post design was conducted involving 75 Prolanis participants selected using total sampling based on predefined criteria. Demographic characteristics and outcomes, including medication adherence and diabetes-prevention behaviour, were assessed using validated questionnaires before and after the intervention. Most participants were female (81.33%), had basic education (44%), were unemployed (72%), and had a diabetes duration of more than five years (81.33%). Behaviour and adherence scores increased significantly after exposure to the CareDia Book. These improvements were associated with the educational intervention during the study period. In conclusion, CareDia Book–based education was associated with short-term improvements in medication adherence and self-care behaviour among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Longer follow-up studies are needed to assess the durability and clinical impact of these changes
Comparative Analysis and Optimization of GIS-Based Rooftop Solar Power Plants
The increasing demand for electricity and the global commitment to carbon reduction have encouraged higher education institutions to integrate renewable energy into campus infrastructures. However, most previous rooftop PV studies at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) have been limited to single-building assessments or have not fully integrated spatial analysis with technical simulation. This study addresses this research gap by conducting a comparative analysis and system optimization of a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installation at the Faculty of Engineering building using a combined Geographic Information System (GIS) approach and detailed technical simulation through HelioScope. The optimized design yields a total capacity of 368.79 kWp comprising 647 Canadian Solar 570W modules. Simulation results indicate an annual energy output of 486.5 MWh with a Performance Ratio (PR) of 95.8%, where PR represents the ratio of actual system performance to ideal irradiance conditions, and a solar access value of 99.2%. The economic assessment shows a payback period of 11.04 years under an export tariff of IDR 1,440/kWh. Furthermore, a comparative evaluation with two previous studies demonstrates significant improvements in both technical and economic aspects due to the integrated GIS and high-resolution simulation approach. The findings provide a valuable reference for advancing renewable energy implementation in educational institutions, particularly in designing efficient and sustainable rooftop PV systems
