    The Implementation of Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Heads Together to Improved Students Learning Competence of BiologyClass X MIA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Solok Selatan

    Students’ competency in learning of  Biology at class X MIA2  of SMAN 2 Solok Selatan are not optimum yet. It is necessary to increase students’ competency by implementing cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together type. This research aim to approve students’ competency in learning Biology by applied of Numbered Heads Together Model. This research done in two cycles ( P1 and P2 plus 1 precycle P0). Each cycle consisted of three lessons. There are four phases in the cycle; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments of the research were observation sheet on the teachers activities, learning competence and questionnaire research. The data was collected through observation and a learning achievement test. The data analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the students’ activity and competency were increase. The students’ achievement involved the cognitive, that is the number of students who passed were P0 64,00%, P1 76,00% to P2 88,00%. The students affective were P0 56,00%, P1 63,07% to P2 77,73%. and the students’ psychomotoric were P0 59,00%, P1 68,28% to P2 78,71%. Research questionnaire containing statements student responses to the application of Numbered Heads Together Model increased from P1 80.86% to P2 84.93% . It can be concluded that the using of Numbered Heads Together increased students’ competency in learning Biology at X MIA2 class of SMAN 2 Solok Selatan

    Analyzed Quality Question of Final Exam Whole Semester on Biology Course Class XI IPA SMA Negeri District South of Solok Selatan Academic Year 2015/2016

    Researcher conducted a study with the aim to determine the quality of items in terms of analysis: 1) the validity of the content and empirical, 2) reliability, 3) level of difficulty, 4) distinguishing features, and 5) the function of detractors. This research is a descriptive study. The sample was a set of second semester final exam subjects biology grade XI IPA SMAof the school year 2015/2016 in the south region district solok. Quantitative analysis was performed by using Anates, while for the qualitative analysis carried out by the study table. Based on the results of data analysis, the result for the review of aspects: 1) the validity of the content, about 7.5% did not meet the material aspect, 40% of questions that do not meet aspects of construction, and 77.5% did not meet aspects of language problems, and validity empirically, 52.5% are invalid matter, 2) reliability, the test has a value of 0.67 belong to the category enough, 3) the level of difficulty, 5% classified as very easy matter, 22.5% easy, 40% about the medium, 17 , 5% about the difficult, and 15% about the very difficult, 4) different power, 15% of matter which is classified as very bad, 15% about the relatively ugly, 30% about enough, and 40% items good, 5) function options, for options that are not qualified humbug is 75% and the quality is 25%. It can be concluded that the end of the semester exam subjects biology grade XI of the school year 2015/2016 in the south region district solok not meet both criteria

    Uniformity Instrument Evaluation Materials with Excretion System Materials that Given by Teacher All The Time Learning Process in SMA Kota Bandung

    The evaluation instrument in measuring of student ability must be appropriate with the basic competence, so that the expected competence can be achieved. This research is seen from the conformity of evaluation instrument material aspect with the material presented by teacher during the learning process in the classroom. The method that used in this research is descriptive method. The research’s subject were ten biology teachers, from seven SMAN in Bandung as a sample, each school representing tree clusters. The selection of the sample is done by using “startified sampling” technique, that is by choosing school with high category, medium and low. The basic competence analyzed is the material of excretion system class XI. The date were obtained by observation, documentation study and questionnaire. Conformity of evaluation instrument material with indicator in RPP that is 82,38%. While the conformity of evaluation instrument material with the material contained in the basic competence is 72,30%. While the conformity of evaluation instrument material with the material who presented by teacher during the learning process in the clasroom is 79,83%

    Development Of Spiritual Special Modules In Form Competition Strip On Material Human Reproduction System For Student Class XI SMA/MA

    The purpose of this research is to develop a module of spiritual nuance in the form of comic strips on reproduction material  for students of class XI SMA / MA valid and practical. This research uses 3 of 4 stages 4D models that is define, design and develop. The developed product will be validated by 3 validators including 2 lecturers of biology and 1 biology teacher of SMAN 4 Padang, while for practicality will be done by 32 students of SMAN 4 Padang. The data of this study include the primary data obtained from the questionnaire filled directly by the subject of research. Based on the results of the study obtained the validity of 91.30% with very valid criteria, practicality by teachers 86.68% practical criteria and practicality by students 88.56% with practical criteria

    Development of Biology Module Based on Metacognition on Coordination System Materials With Concept Maps For Students Class XI SMA/MA

    The purpose of this research is to result and show the validity and practicality of biology module about coordination system material based on metacognition with concept map for students in Senior High School. Type of research is research and development. This research applies 3 steps from 4D model, that are define, design, and develop. The subject of this research are 5 experts as validator, 3 teachers, and 49 students classes XI of SMAN 2 Padang. Data gained is categorized into primary data, as it is collected from validity and practicality questionnaire which is directly filled by research subjects. The data was analyzed descriptively. The result of validity is 88,5% in criteria valid, practicality by teachers is 90,4% in criteria very practice, and practicality by students is 85,8% in criteria practice. It can be concluded that the Biology Module on coordination system material based on metacognition with concept map for students in Senior High School is valid and practical
