The film continues with various forms of treatment – swallowing, drinking, and playing. The next title card reads: "Speech training for children starts at 2 years. A male physician enters a ward of several female patients accompanied by a nurse carrying a book or chart. He interviews the patients and writes a prescription. The prescription is given to the occupational therapist who then visits the patients with her basket of occupational therapy crafts. The title card reads: "Bedside craft work must be suitable for a reclining position, avoiding eye strain and muscle tension." The occupational therapist interacts with the patients. Treatments include basket weaving and other crafts for women, and carpentry, painting, shoe cobbling, and radio repair for men.
