This paper aims to discuss a case study of the calculation of the break-even point in the RPD Coffee Business. The method or approach used is through two propositional approaches and single fixed costs. The First Approach obtains BEP in Units and BEP in currency or Rp for each product line, namely: Product line 1 (L1) has a BEP volume in units of 64.1 and BEP in sales of Rp 3,205,061.83. L2, has a BEP in units of 72,162, BEP in sales of Rp 1,804,046.57. L3 has a BEP in units of 11,900 units with a BEP in sales of Rp 1,785,060.71. L4 has a BEP in units of 26.2 units with a BEP in sales of Rp 1,837,784.32. Second, the Multi-Product BreakEven Analysis Approach with Single Fixed Cost obtained by the RPD coffee business, BEP is the same as Fixed Cost as one part with a margin contribution ratio (0.797) or 79.7% which is Rp 7,579,331.64. The advantage of the second approach in determining BEP is that Fixed Cost does not need to be proportional. This paper aims to discuss a case study of the calculation of the break-even point in the RPD Coffee Business. The decline in rice production can pose a risk to Indonesia's food sovereignty. To ensure the sustainability of agriculture in general and food supply in particular, the concept of sustainable development needs to be implemented. Purwodadi District, which is one of the rice production centers in Musi Rawas Regency, has an advantage because all of its rice fields are irrigated by an irrigation system. Currently, many farmers who previously planted rice have switched to fish farming and building swallow's nests, which has resulted in a narrowing of the area of rice fields. This study aims to analyze the sustainability status and sensitive attributes in rice farming efforts in Purwodadi District, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research method used was an interview with a questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Multidimensional Scaling method. The results of the study showed that the sustainability status of rice farming efforts in Mardiharjo Village, Purwodadi District, had a sustainability index of 60.21, which can be categorized as quite sustainable. A total of 16 sensitive attributes have been identified as significant factors and influence the sustainability of rice farming effortsThe decline in rice production can pose a risk to Indonesia's food sovereignty. Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is an important food crop with Helminthosporium oryzae B. de Haan, Curvularia sp., and Rhizoctonia solani as three major associated pathogenic fungi. In controlling these pathogens, the use of antagonistic fungus, such as Trichoderma asperellum, is still considered the most effective and environmentally friendly. The study aimed to determine the potential of T. asperellum in suppressing several pathogenic fungi that cause disease in rice plants in vitro. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 10 replicates. The treatments were several pathogens that cause disease in rice plants with antagonistic fungi T. asperellum to inhibit several pathogens in rice plants, namely R. solani, Curvularia sp., H. oryzae., and untreated control. Testing the antagonistic power of T. asperellum against several pathogenic fungi was carried out by double culture method and culture vapor method. Observations made included the percentage of inhibition, invasion rate, colony area, changes in morphological characters, the number of conidia and the number of germinated conidia. The results showed that T. asperellum has the potential to suppress the growth of several pathogenic fungi studied in vitro. In the double culture method, T. asperellum suppressed the growth of R. solani fungus with the highest inhibition percentage of 68.40%, whereas in the vapor culture method, T. asperellum suppressed the growth of Curvularia sp. fungus with the highest effectiveness of 62.04%. Keywords: biological control, Curvularia sp., Helminthosporium oryzae, Rhizoctonia solani

    No full text
This research examines the economic behaviour of independent oil palm smallholders in fulfilling household expenditures from all their income sources and their level of welfare at present and the stability in the future. The income of oil palm smallholders in Megang Sakti District, Musi Rawas Regency, was IDR 24,731,506 per hectare per year. The total income of the farm household was IDR 43,614,839 per year, which was contributed by the oil palm plantation, the non-oil palm plantation, and non-farming productive activities. All household expenditures could be covered by all existing sources of income, and the net future income will increase as the oil palm plantation enters productive age periods. It has been revealed that oil palm plantations operated by independent smallholders present significant opportunities for economic growth and rural development, but they raise challenges related to sustainability, market access, and social equity. The independent oil palm farmers are recommended to (1) form an independent farmer institution and implement proper and sustainable institution management and (2) submit a proposal to the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) and other financial institutions to demand a grant or get a loan at an affordable interest rate for financing their future business activities. Furthermore, there are ten practical actions that can be implemented by the independent oil palm smallholders

Supreme Court Decision Number 23 P/HUM/2024 and Constitutional Court Decision Number 70/PUU-XXII/2024 are two decisions related to the age requirements for regional head candidates which were initially followed up by the House of Representatives and ultimately the House of Representatives chose to follow Constitutional Court Decision Number 70/PUU XXII/2024. The purpose of this research is to find out how the authority of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court in testing laws and regulations related to the Regional Elections and what is the position of the Supreme Court Decision Number 23 P/HUM/2024 after the Constitutional Court Decision Number 70/PUU-XXII/2024. This research method is a normative legal research using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the study show that the authority of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court in testing statutory regulations related to regional head elections has different scopes of authority. The Supreme Court has limited authority to test statutory regulations under the law against the law, one of which is the General Election Commission Regulation as a derivative regulation of the Regional Head Election Law and does not have the authority to test the Regional Head Election Law, while the Constitutional Court has the authority to test laws against the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,  one of which is in testing the Regional Head Election Law. Meanwhile, Supreme Court Decision Number 23 P/HUM/2024 regarding the testing of age requirements for regional head candidates has a lower position when it is used as a basis for the formation of laws and regulations and when used as jurisprudence. Therefore, as a practical contribution, the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court should strengthen their understanding of the limits of authority possessed in testing laws and regulations. Although the authority of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court is different, coordination between these two institutions is still necessary to create consistency in the application of the law. Therefore, there needs to be a more intensive dialogue between these institutions related to intersecting issues, such as testing laws and regulations related to the Regional Elections.Supreme Court Decision Number 23 P/HUM/2024 and Constitutional Court Decision Number 70/PUU-XXII/2024 are two decisions related to the age requirements for regional head candidates which were initially followed up by the House of Representatives and ultimately the House of Representatives chose to follow Constitutional Court Decision Number 70/PUU XXII/2024. The Influence Of Audit Tenure, Auditor Reputation, Auditor Rotation, Audit Fee On Audit Quality

    No full text
This research aims to empirically examine the effect of audit tenure, auditor reputation, auditor rotation, and audit fee on audit quality in BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2023. Audit quality is a key indicator of the reliability of financial statements and reflects the auditor’s ability to detect and report irregularities objectively. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling based on specific criteria: BUMN that consistently published complete annual reports and financial statements in Indonesian Rupiah during the observation period. The study results, obtained through logistic regression analysis, show that audit tenure and auditor rotation have a significant and positive impact on audit quality, suggesting that both longer engagement duration and proper auditor rotation enhance auditor performance and independence. In contrast, auditor reputation and audit fee do not significantly affect audit quality, indicating that affiliation with Big Four accounting firms or higher audit payments does not necessarily guarantee better audit outcomes. The regression model demonstrated good fit with a Nagelkerke R Square of 0.695, meaning the independent variables explain 69.5% of the variation in audit quality. These findings have practical implications for regulators and stakeholders in optimizing audit assignment policies to strengthen the quality of financial reporting. The research also highlights the need for greater oversight and accountability, particularly in the context of public companies. Future studies are encouraged to explore other factors that may influence audit quality using larger and more diverse samples
