    [GROWTH ADAPTATION AND PRODUCTIVITY OF 20 CAYENNE PEPPERS (Capsicum annuum L.) GENOTYPES IN LOWLANDS AREA]. The cultivation of chili peppers in lowland areas of Indonesia faces several environmental challenges. Efforts to increase red chili production in lowland regions include planting genotypes that are adaptive to local environmental conditions. This study aims to obtain information on the best red chili genotypes that can adapt and produce well in lowland areas. The research was conducted from May 2024 to September 2024 using the Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) method with a single-factor treatment, consisting of 20 genotypes red chili with three replications. The data collected included growth variables (plant height, first dichotomous height, leaf area, number of dichotomous points, stem diameter, and plant dry biomass) and yield variables (first harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit diameter, fruit length, fruit weight per plant, and percentage of marketable fruit). The results showed that the ‘Lotanbar’ genotype exhibited the best performance during the vegetative phase, as indicated by the largest total leaf area, the highest number of dichotomous points, the largest stem diameter, and the highest plant dry weight compared to other genotypes. Meanwhile, the ‘Baja F1’ genotype demonstrated superior performance during the generative phase, producing the largest fruit diameter and the highest fruit weight per plant, reaching up to 200% higher than the genotype with the lowest yield. Thus, the ‘Lotanbar’ genotype is recommended for optimization during the vegetative growth phase, while ‘Baja F1’ is more ideal for increasing yield during the generative phase in red chili cultivation in lowland areas.  ABSTRAK Budidaya cabai di dataran rendah di Indonesia dihadapkan pada beberapa kendala seperti temperatur, intensitas cahaya matahari, kelembaban relatif tinggi, musim hujan panjang, dan cuaca ekstrem dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan buah dan kualitas panen. Upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi cabai merah di dataran rendah adalah menanam genotipe yang adaptif terhadap kondisi lingkungan di dataran rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi genotipe cabai merah terbaik yang mampu beradaptasi dan berproduksi dengan baik di daerah dataran rendah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2024 sampai dengan September 2024 di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Unib Beringin Raya, Kota Bengkulu dengan ketinggian 10 m dpl. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) faktor tunggal dengan perlakukan 20 genotipe dengan 3 ulangan. Genotipe yang diuji meliputi ‘Mada’, ‘Baja F1’, ‘Lontanbar’, ‘Locker’, ‘Kopay’, ‘Radha’, ‘Ateng’, ‘Paten’, ‘Dumay’, ‘Lokal Legum’, ’CMK Lolay’, ‘Indrapura Reborn’, ‘Vitra Unggul’, ‘Twist 42’, ‘Seulawah Aceh’, ‘Klope Lokal Aceh’, ‘Aweh Aceh’, ‘CMK Tavi’, ‘Simpatik 17’, dan ‘Hellboy’. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa genotipe Lontanbar unggul dalam pertumbuhan dibandingkan dengan genotipe lainnya di dataran rendah. Genotipe Baja F1 unggul dalam komponen hasil dibandingkan dengan genotipe lainnya. Lontanbar menunjukan luas daun total terbesar, jumlah titik dikotomus terbanyak, diameter batang terbesar, dan bobot kering tanaman terberat. Sedangkan Baja F1 menunjukkan diameter buah terbesar dan bobot buah per tanaman cenderung tertinggi, 200%  lebih tinggi dari genotipe terendah. Oleh karena itu Lontanbar dan Baja F1 merupakan genotipe terbaik untuk budidaya di dataran rendah. Kata kunci: pertumbuhan dan hasil, cabai merah, dataran renda

    Penerapan Motion Graphics Pada Media Edukasi Parenting Berbasis Android Dengan Pendekatan Material Design Guidelines Untuk Bekal Young Parents Dalam Mendidik Anak

    This research focuses on developing Eduparent, an Android-based parenting education app designed to help young parents under 21 educate their children in the digital age. The app incorporates animated motion graphics and follows material design guidelines for an intuitive and engaging user experience. The Research and Development (R&D) method and the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model were used to ensure systematic and effective development. Eduparent offers parenting tutorials through materials, expert videos, and animations. A study conducted with 36 young parents in Lubuk Layang Village showed a significant increase in parenting understanding after using the app. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test revealed a significance value of 0.01, indicating a positive impact on parenting knowledge. Potential attraction object Natural tourism (ODTWA) in the Guguk Traditional Forest area consists of several objects, namely potential natural views at the top of Tepanggang Hill, hiking/tracking in the Guguk traditional forest area, fishing, swimming and exploring the area using boats or bamboo rafts along the Betung River. and enjoy the Betung River waterfall., Potential flora in the form of various types of rare trees, which based on the results of the KKI-Warsi survey there are 10 families with a total of 167 trunks with an average diameter of more than 90cm and Dipterocarpaceae as the dominant tree group, orchards owned by residents and the damang tree where bees place their hives and produce honey. Potential fauna diversity, based on the results of a survey of vertebrate animals by Fauna Flora Indonesia in the Batang Nilo-Nilo Cold production forest area, which was recorded as consisting of 83 types of mammals, 91 types of Herpetofauna, and 221 types of Aves. The aim of this research is to inventory the flora and fauna on the Tepanggang hill climbing route in the Guguk traditional forest in Guguk Village, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. The Guguk Traditional Forest has one route that has been inventoried, namely the Bukit Tepanggang route which has the potential for birds, mammals, primates and plants. The potential flora and fauna found on the route are 9 types of birds, 3 types of primates, 2 types of mammals, 20 types of plants, rivers and 2 viewpoints.     KARAKTERISTIK SAMPO BERBASIS EKSTRAK KULIT PISANG KEPOK (Musa acuminata)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi ekstrak kulit pisang kepok (Musa acuminata) sebagai bahan aktif dalam formulasi sampo serta menentukan formula terbaik berdasarkan karakteristik fisikokimia dan preferensi konsumen. Empat formula sampo yaitu (F0–F3) dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak (0%–6%) diuji secara fisik (homogenitas, viskositas, pH, kadar air, dan tinggi busa) dan sensori melalui uji hedonik oleh 20 panelis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh formula memenuhi standar mutu sampo berdasarkan SNI 06-2642-1992. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap parameter warna, aroma, dan tekstur (p < 0,05), dengan formulasi F1 paling disukai secara organoleptik. Selanjutnya, dilakukan analisis menggunakan metode Bayes untuk menentukan formulasi optimal berdasarkan pembobotan seluruh parameter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa formulasi F3 (penambahan 6% ekstrak kulit pisang kepok) merupakan formula terbaik secara keseluruhan, karena memberikan performa tertinggi pada sebagian besar parameter kualitas. Temuan ini mendukung pemanfaatan limbah kulit pisang sebagai bahan aktif alternatif dalam produk kosmetik ramah lingkungan

    Effect of Vitamin E Supplementation In Diluent on Fertility Parameters of Different Quality Fresh Bull Sperm

    This study aimed to determine the effect of vitamin E supplementation on tris-egg yolk diluent using different quality fresh semen. The research material was ejaculated from six Simmental bulls and then classified into standard quality (SQ) and low quality (LQ) according to progressive motility. The research method was experimental with a randomized factorial design (2X5), with the group by fresh semen with 3 replications. The first factor was the quality of fresh semen, while the second factor was the level of vitamin E addition (B0: 0mg/ml; B1: 0.5 mg/ml; B2: 1 mg/ml; B3: 1.5 mg/ml; and B4: 2 mg/ml). After thawing, the observation parameters were motility, viability, abnormality, plasma membrane integrity, and MDA levels.  The result shows that the quality of fresh semen has a very significant effect (p<0.01) on the motility of frozen semen (66.28±8.66%) and a significant impact (p<0.05) on the plasma membrane integrity (91.31±2.87%). The use of vitamin E at 1 mg/ml showed the best results on motility (66.11±7.64%), viability (70.19±12.13), abnormality (12.00±3.13), and MDA (2.11±0.77). This study concludes that adding vitamin E to the diluent can increase motility, viability, and plasma membrane integrity while reducing abnormality and MDA levels. Low-quality fresh semen can be processed into frozen semen after adding vitamin E. The best level of vitamin E addition is 1 mg/ml

    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS GOOGLE CLASSROOM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Google Classroom untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik, mengevaluasi kelayakan media pembelajaran tersebut, serta keefektifan pemanfaatannya pada mata pelajaran IPA Kelas IX Paket B. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SPNF SKB Bengkulu Tengah dan SPNF SKB Kota Bengkulu Paket B. Merupakan penelitian pengembangan (reseach and development) dengan menggunakan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik Kelas IX Paket B di Provinsi Bengkulu, dengan sampel peserta didik Kelas IX Paket B di SPNF SKB Bengkulu Tengah sebanyak 10 peserta didik dan SPNF SKB Kota Bengkulu sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran berbasis Google Classroom yang memiliki kelayakan sangat baik berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh ahli materi dan media menunjukkan perolehan skor kelayakan rata-rata sebesar 98,2% dan 99,2%. Hasil analisis data penilaian peserta didik, 100% menyatakan senang menggunakan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan perhitungan statistik dengan menggunakan paired sample t-test nilai pretest dan posttest diperoleh hasil bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Google Classroom secara signifikan meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik sebesar 11%. Hal ini menandakan media pembelajaran tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik dalam waktu yang relatif singka

    Complex word formation in contemporary syntactic frameworks: scientometric investigation and its relevance to grammar pedagogy

    This study explored the evolving  research landscape on complex word formation within contemporary syntactic frameworks using a scientometric approach. Employing bibliographic data of 350 journal articles (2014 – 2024) retrieved from Scopus, the study examined publication trends, author productivity, and prominent publication avenues, utilizing VOSviewer for data visualization and network analysis. Findings revealed a growing body of literature, with an average of 34 publications annually and a notable increase in recent years. Verspoor and Culbertson emerged as the leading authors within this research focus, while Lingua and Languages were identified as the most prominent journal publishers. Keyword co-occurrence analysis revealed ten thematic clusters, highlighting the nature of this research domain. Two main clusters, “word constructions” (20.4%) and “syntax” (18.5%), dominated the landscape, followed by four intermediate clusters focusing on “compounds” (15.7%), “artificial intelligence” (14.85), “syntactic complexity” (10.2%), and “verb” (6.5%). Four minor clusters explored more specialized themes such as “speech perception and recursion” (4.6%), “syntactic processing and sentence comprehension” (3.7%), “syntax, semantics, and information structure” (3.7%), and “sign language and language evolution” (1.9%). These findings, to a certain extent, offer implications for grammar pedagogy, emphasizing the need for teaching approaches that reflect the interconnected nature of complex word formation

    Pengembangan Video Interaktif Berbasis Etnosains Papua untuk Pengajaran IPA Terpadu

    This study discussed the development of Integrated Science teaching materials in the form of an Interactive Video Based on Papua's Local Ethnoscience. The local wisdom of Papua explained in the video includes sago trees, red fruit, matoa trees, and areca nut trees. This research used research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study include one subject matter expert teacher, one media expert lecturer, and seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 26 in Sorong Regency. The instruments used to assess the feasibility of the interactive video based on Papua's local ethnoscience include a feasibility sheet by subject matter and media experts, a questionnaire to gauge students' responses to the use of the interactive video, and pretest and posttest trials to evaluate the effectiveness of the interactive video based on Papua's local ethnoscience. The data analysis results showed a score of 97.92% from the subject matter expert and 86.98% from the media expert, both of which fall into the very feasible category. The effectiveness of the Interactive Video Based on Papua's Local Ethnoscience was measured by student learning outcomes, which were categorized as high, with an n-gain score of ≥ 0.7. The students' responses indicated that 15 students 87% gave positive feedback on the use of the Interactive Video Based on Papua's Local Ethnoscience.Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan bahan ajar IPA Terpadu berupa Video Interaktif Berbasis Etnosains Lokal Papua, adapun Kearifan Lokal Papua yang dijelaskan dalam video ini seperti pohon sagu, buah merah, pohon matoa dan pohon pinang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (penerapan), dan Evaluation (evaluasi)). Subjek penelitian ini meliputi 1 guru ahli materi, 1 dosen ahli media, dan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 26 Kabupaten Sorong. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai kelayakan video interaktif berbasis etnosains lokal papua meliputi lembar kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan media, angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan video interaktif berbasis etnosains lokal papua dan uji coba pretest dan postest untuk menilai hasil penggunaan video intaraktif berbasis etnosains lokal papua. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dilakukan analisis data dengan perolehan hasil sebesar 97,92%dari ahli materi dan 86,98% dari ahli media dan memenuhi kategori sangat layak. Adapun hasil keefektifan Video Intarakti Berbasis Etnosain Lokal Papua diperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kategori Tinggi dengan perolehan nilai n-gain ≥ 0,7. Respon peserta didik menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 15 peserta didik memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan Video Intarakti Berbasis Etnosain Lokal Papua 87%

    Analisis Persepsi Guru Terhadap Efektivitas Pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Technological Knowledge di SMA Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu

    The development of technology in the education sector today is not accompanied by wise use by students. One way to increase the productivity of technology use by students is through schools, where teachers act as facilitators. This certainly poses a challenge for teachers to maximize the role of technology in schools despite differences and limitations so that learning becomes effective. Teachers' perceptions of technology are important to analyze in efforts to improve the quality of technology-based learning. This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of biology learning based on technological knowledge at Samarinda Ulu District High School and the factors influencing it. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative, with measurement tools in the form of questionnaires and interview sheets. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the questionnaire responses from 7 biology teachers at SMA Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu, the analysis of teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of technology-based biology learning revealed a score of 71.42%, indicating that the majority of teachers have a very positive perception of the effectiveness of technology-based learning. Factors influencing this include teachers' and students' ability to use technology, the availability of infrastructure, the suitability of technology to the material presented, the diversity of applications used in learning, and discipline and motivation in learning.Perkembangan teknologi di sektor pendidikan saat ini tidak diiringi oleh pemanfaatan yang bijak oleh peserta didik. Salah satu wadah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas penggunaan teknologi oleh peserta didik adalah sekolah dimana guru sebagai fasilitatornya. Hal tersebut tentunya menjadi tantangan seorang guru agar dapat memaksimalkan peran teknologi di sekolah dengan perbedaan serta keterbatasan yang ada sehingga pembelajaran menjadi efektif. Persepsi guru terhadap teknologi merupakan hal yang penting untuk dianalisis dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis technological knowledge. Penelitian ini bermaksud guna mengetahui persepsi guru pada efektivitas pembelajaran biologi berbasis technological knowledge di SMA Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan bantuan alat ukur berupa angket dan lembar wawancara. Data dihitung dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil pengisian angket  yang dilakukan oleh 7 responden guru biologi di SMA Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu, hasil analisis persepsi guru terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran biologi berbasis technological knowledge yaitu sebesar 71,42% yang artinya dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki kategori persepsi sangat positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis technological knowledge. Hal yang mempengaruhinya yaitu kemampuan guru dan siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi, ketersediaan infrastruktur, kesesuaian teknologi dengan materi yang disajikan, keberagaman aplikasi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan kedisiplinan serta motivasi dalam belajar

    PROGRAM PANCA JIWA SATRI PONDOK PESANTREN ANNAKHIL DARUNNAJAH

    This research examines the implementation of the Panca Jiwa Program at the Annakhil Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School 6 Mukomuko, Bengkulu, which includes five main values: sincerity, simplicity, independence, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and freedom. Through qualitative methods, it was found that these values ​​were implemented through student activities, OSDA, and graduate service. Support from all elements of the lodge and routine activities are the main supporting factors, even though there are obstacles to limited resources and consistency of implementation. As a result, the Panca Jiwa Program is effective in shaping the character of students, but evaluation and monitoring need to be improved to optimize the program.Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Program Panca Jiwa di Pondok Pesantren Annakhil Darunnajah 6 Mukomuko, Bengkulu, yang meliputi lima nilai utama: keikhlasan, kesederhanaan, kemandirian, ukhuwah Islamiyah, dan kebebasan. Melalui metode kualitatif, ditemukan bahwa nilai-nilai ini diterapkan melalui kegiatan santri, OSDA, dan pengabdian lulusan. Dukungan dari seluruh elemen pondok dan aktivitas rutin menjadi faktor pendukung utama, meski ada kendala keterbatasan sumber daya dan konsistensi penerapan.
