    Developing a Fun Cooking Guidebook to Build Reading and Writing Literacy in Children Aged 5–6 Years

    The absence of organized teaching aids for cooking activities prevents teachers from fully promoting comprehensive development in young children at the preschool level. Enriches children s mind, moral values, and cognitive growth, interest in learning, and social life. Attractive cookware playsets to inspire kids' imagination. The present study aims to design and evaluate the applicability of a fun cooking manual kit as an educational approach for a kindergarten course. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The Define stage comprised a needs analysis of teachers and classroom activities. In contrast, the Design and Develop stages involved the design, development, and expert validation of the guidebook, with Disseminate comprising small implementation trials. Data were collected through questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and observation checklists used to assess teachers' personalities at the Child Asmaul Husna Kindergarten in Tangerang. The average feasibility score across four experts (nutrition, culinary arts, media, and early childhood education) was 3.6 (89.5%), indicating high feasibility and satisfaction with pedagogical, nutritional, and practical requirements. Trial results indicated that children became better critical thinkers, more creative, and more independent. In summary, the fun cooking guidebook, in accordance with the center method , is practicable and effective in cultivating infants' comprehensive capacity

    Development of Pop-Up Book ‘Ayo Siaga Bencana’ to Cultivate Disaster Mitigation Awareness in Early Childhood

    This study aims to develop the Pop Up Book media "Ayo Siaga Bencana" (Let's Be Prepared for Disaster) to foster disaster mitigation awareness in early childhood. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), but this study is limited to the limited scale implementation stage. The research approach uses mixed methods with children aged 5-6 years old group B at the Kembangan District PAUD institution. Needs analysis was conducted through observation, interviews, and teacher and parent questionnaires. The Pop Up Book product was validated by three experts (material, media, and practitioners) with very high feasibility percentage results, respectively 87.5% (material experts), 95% (media experts), and 87.5% (practitioner experts). The trial was carried out in stages (individual, small group, large group) in three PAUD institutions, then a limited scale implementation was carried out on 10 children in group B of Al-Ikhlas Joglo PAUD. The results showed a teacher response of 97.5% (very good category) and a child response of 95% (very good category). Thus, this Pop-Up Book is deemed suitable, engaging, and effective as a disaster mitigation learning medium for early childhood. This medium can increase children's attention, enthusiasm, and understanding of simple disaster management steps, making it an innovative alternative for preparedness education in early childhood education (PAUD)

    The Influence of Tauhid Education on the Value of Cleanliness Responsibility in Early Childhood through the Slogan Hold, Save, and Collect

    This research was inspired by the lack of awareness and responsibility regarding cleanliness among kindergarten children at Pos PAUD Sedap Malam 16, Cimahi City, as 24.39% of 41 children still littered and 19.51% did not return toys after use, indicating a need for a grip intervention. Most earlier studies have focused on habituation or environmental practices, and few have integrated a spirituality-based strategy; therefore, this study is novel in integrating monotheism (tauhid) education with the “Tahan, Simpan dan Pungut” (TSP) slogan, a combination not yet explicitly examined in prior theories. This research employed a quantitative approach using SEM-PLS, and all 41 children in group B were included in the sample. The results indicate that tauhid education influenced cleanliness responsibility (β = 0.942; p < 0.001) and the use of the TSP slogan (β = 0.914; p < 0.001). The presence of the TSP slogan also had a significant impact on cleanliness responsibility (β = 0.377; p = 0.013) and mediated the direct relationship between tauhid education and cleanliness responsibility (β = 0.345; p = 0.016), demonstrating that implementation of tauhid education, rather than the TSP slogan, effectively strengthens early childhood cleanliness responsibility

    Pengembangan Model Latihan Teknik Dasar Passing Permainan Bola Tangan UKM Bola Tangan FORKIP Universitas Bengkulu

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa model latihan teknik dasar passing permainan bola tangan dalam bentuk video latihan yang dilengkapi petunjuk pelaksanaannya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan 5 tahap. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling, dengan populasi dan sampel sama - sama sebanyak 45 orang atlet. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan layak, hasil yang layak dengan revisi sesuai saran, ahli media mendapatkan hasil yang layak dengan revisi sesuai saran, dan ahli bahasa memperoleh hasil layak. Hasil kuesioner dari uji coba kelompok kecil dari 16 siswa diperoleh skor rata – rata 82.00% dengan kategori sangat layak dan uji coba kelompok besar dari 29 siswa memperoleh skor rata – rata yaitu 96.00% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model latihan teknik dasar passing permainan bola tangan ini layak untuk digunakan sebagai model latihan pada atlet UKM Bola Tangan FORKIP Universitas Bengkulu. Abstract This study aims to produce a product in the form of a basic passing technique training model for handball, presented as a training video complete with implementation guidelines. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, with both the population and the sample comprising 45 athletes. The research instruments used included observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of expert validation, the material expert rated the product as feasible with revisions according to suggestions, the media expert also rated it as feasible with revisions, and the language expert rated it as feasible. The results of the small group trial questionnaire involving 16 students showed an average score of 82.00%, categorized as highly feasible, while the large group trial involving 29 students obtained an average score of 96.00%, also categorized as highly feasible. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the development of the basic passing technique training model for handball is feasible to be used as a training model for athletes of the Handball Student Activity (UKM) at FORKIP, University of Bengkulu

    Hubungan Penggunaan Gadget terhadap Kebugaran Jasmani Siswa Kelas X di SMK N 1 Kota Bengkulu

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara penggunaan gadget dan tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa kelas X di SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pengamatan awal yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa perempuan lebih sering menggunakan gadget daripada melakukan aktivitas fisik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Data diperoleh melalui angket penggunaan gadget dan tes kebugaran jasmani (lari 12 menit Cooper Test) terhadap 36 siswa perempuan kelas X. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, linearitas, dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara penggunaan gadget dengan kebugaran jasmani siswa (r = -0,637; p < 0,05). Artinya, semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan gadget, semakin rendah tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan agar siswa mengurangi waktu penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan dan lebih aktif dalam aktivitas fisik untuk menjaga kebugaran jasmani.   ABSTRACT  This study aims to analyze the relationship between gadget use and the physical fitness level of tenth-grade students at SMKN 1 Bengkulu City. The research was motivated by initial observations indicating that female students tend to use gadgets more frequently than engaging in physical activity. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data were collected through a gadget usage questionnaire and a 12-minute run test (Cooper Test) involving 36 female students. Data analysis included normality, homogeneity, linearity, and Pearson correlation tests. The results revealed a significant negative correlation between gadget use and students' physical fitness (r = -0.637; p < 0.05), indicating that higher gadget usage is associated with lower physical fitness. Therefore, it is recommended that students reduce excessive gadget use and increase participation in physical activities to maintain optimal physical fitness

    Dependence of Crystallinity and Crystallite Size of Hydroxyapatite from Chicken Eggshell on Calcination Time : A Comparative Study on Scherrer Approach

    The increasing demand for bone graft materials has driven the development of synthetic alternatives that closely mimic the mineral structure of natural bone and dental tissues. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a calcium phosphate material whose crystal structure closely resembles that of bone and dental tissue, making it highly suitable for various biomedical applications. In this study, calcium oxide (CaO) was obtained from calcined chicken eggshells, with calcination durations of 2, 3, and 4 hours, followed by the synthesis of HAp using the hydrothermal method at 160  for 24 hours. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was performed to evaluate the effects of calcination time on crystallinity and crystallite size. The results showed that increasing the calcination time led to higher crystallinity, ranging from 46% to 54%. Crystallite size was estimated using three Scherrer-based methods. The straight-line Scherrer method produced values ranging from 1733.17 to 4621.8 nm, the average Scherrer method from 11.33 to 11.74 nm, and the modified Scherrer method from 8.49 to 9.11 nm. All three methods consistently indicated a decrease in crystallite size with longer calcination durations. These findings demonstrate that prolonged calcination enhances crystallinity and reduce crystallite size, underscoring the critical role of calcination time in shaping structural characteristics of HAp

    Pemanfaatan Teknologi Drone dan Artificial Intelligence untuk Edukasi Mitigasi Bencana di SMAN 4 Kepahiang

    Bengkulu merupakan salah satu provinsi yang memiliki potensi bencana alam yang tinggi, baik bencana geologi (gempabumi, tsunami, erupsi gunungapi) dan bencana hidrometerologi (longsor, banjir, puting beliung). Perkembangan teknologi pesawat tanpa awak (drone) dan kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence) telah membuka peluang baru dalam bidang mitigasi bencana alam. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi drone dan artificial intelligence (AI) untuk edukasi mengenai pentingnya mitigasi bencana alam di SMAN 4 Kepahiang. Program ini ditujukan untuk siswa-siswi kelas XI jurusan IPA sebanyak 40 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu melakukan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi drone dan AI. Selain itu, dilakukan promosi program studi dan evaluasi kegiatan melalui pengisian kuesioner. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman pelajar tentang teknologi terapan seperti drone dan AI melalui evaluasi penilaian pre-test dan post-test serta meningkatnya keterampilan dalam mitigasi bencana alam

    Pelatihan Penyusunan Curriculum Vitae sebagai Penguatan Keterampilan Kerja Peserta Didik Paket C

    Pelatihan pembuatan Curriculum Vitae (CV) merupakan bagian dari strategi penguatan keterampilan kerja peserta didik Paket C di SKB Negeri 22 Jakarta Timur. Pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan peserta dalam menyusun dokumen lamaran kerja, serta belum tersedianya program pembelajaran kontekstual yang mendukung kesiapan kerja secara langsung. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun CV secara mandiri dan profesional. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan andragogi melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, studi kasus, praktik langsung, dan coaching individual. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam dua sesi dengan total 13 peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari pre-test sebesar 84,61% menjadi 93,08% pada post-test. Seluruh peserta berhasil menyusun CV yang sesuai dengan struktur dan isi yang tepat. Selain itu, pelatihan mendorong refleksi diri peserta terhadap pengalaman hidup mereka sebagai potensi yang dapat dikembangkan. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan praktis, kepercayaan diri, serta kesadaran karier peserta didik kesetaraan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan pembuatan CV dapat menjadi model penguatan program pendidikan nonformal yang kontekstual, aplikatif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja

    Pengisian Baterai Ion Litium dengan Variasi Arus Menggunakan Modul TP4056 dan TP5100

    The charging speed of lithium-ion batteries depends on the applied current, with higher currents resulting in faster charging.  However, higher currents can increase the surface temperature, potentially damaging components or causing safety hazards. This study measured the surface temperature of lithium-ion batteries using the DS18B20 sensor. The TP4056 module was used for currents of 880.9 mA, 982.30 mA, and 1134.40 mA, while the TP5100 module was used for a current of 1323.80 mA. Charging at 1328.38 mA required the shortest time, approximately 3-4 hours. Temperature measurements showed no significant increase across the range of 880.0-1328.38 mA. For 982.30 mA, the first and second measurements recorded maximum temperatures of 34.4 °C and 36.2 °C, respectively. In the third measurement at 1328.38 mA, the maximum temperature reached 35.5 °C. Overall, the temperature variations remained below the maximum safe limit for lithium-ion battery charging

    Pelatihan Pembuatan Permen Jelly Jeruk Kalamansi di Desa Panca Mukti Sebagai Imunomodulator

    Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Desa Panca Mukti yang memiliki akses dekat terhadap perkebunan jeruk kalamansi tetapi pemanfaatannya masih terbatas, padahal buah ini kaya vitamin C dan berpotensi sebagai imunomodulator alami. Masyarakat setempat, khususnya ibu-ibu PKK, membutuhkan inovasi olahan berbasis bahan lokal yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kesehatan tetapi juga memiliki nilai ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan memperluas pengetahuan dan meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah jeruk kalamansi menjadi permen jelly herbal sebagai produk nutrasetikal peningkat daya tahan tubuh. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua jam (10.00–12.00 WIB) dan diikuti oleh 26 peserta melalui penyampaian materi edukatif serta praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pemahaman peserta dengan rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 74,58% dan post-test meningkat menjadi 95,36%. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta munculnya peluang pemanfaatan potensi lokal menjadi produk fungsional dan bernilai ekonomis. Selain mendorong inovasi masyarakat, kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada upaya peningkatan kesehatan preventif melalui pemanfaatan bahan alam lokal yang bersifat imunomodulator
