Within the education system of the Republic of Serbia, music education is viewed as an important segment in the educational and developmental pathway that contributes to the cultural development of pupils and the formation and enhancement of their musical preferences. In recent years, teaching practices in music education have shown tendencies toward modernization and improvement of the educational process. For the purposes of this research, a questionnaire was designed and an exploration was conducted involving 126 elementary school teachers (N=126) from the Republic of Serbia. The research was empirical, utilizing non-experimental, and descriptive methods and survey technique. In this paper, the author analyses the experiences and attitudes of elementary school teachers regarding the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT), digital resources and their positive influence on the teaching of music education. In the context of using specific software and applications, a high proportion of respondents appear to lack competencies necessary for a more concrete and consistent application when covering specific areas in the music education syllabus. Among the total number of respondents from the territory of the Republic of Serbia, the majority of 81,7% support the implementation of innovations that involve active use of ICT resources in everyday teaching. However, greater discrepancies are noticeable when it comes to the specific software and tools and their application in covering areas of the music education syllabus. Experience shows that it is necessary to initiate and accelerate efforts to improve the digital competencies of elementary school teachers to enable pupils to reach their full potential.Key words: Music Education classes, elementary school teacher, pupils, information-communication technology (ICT)

    No full text
The subject matter of analysis in this paper is the importance of the transparency principle in the central bank's legislation, as a significant determinant of the effectiveness and efficiency of adopted solutions for achieving monetary stability as a public good. In this context, the first part of the paper examines the importance and functions of transparency of acts and actions of the central bank in contemporary monetary law. The second part discusses various theoretical assumptions in the regulation conception of the highest monetary authority in comparative legislation. The third part focuses on the contribution of the ombudsman in framing democratic monetary governance based on credibility in the visibility of the central bank actions, which has significant implications in the field of human rights protection. In this regard, the author refers to the Law of the European Central Bank, which has a great impact on the formation of monetary jurisdictions in the international context. By applying dogmatic, axiological, and comparative law methods, the author seeks to contribute to a functional and essential understanding of the importance and place of the transparency principle in positioning monetary legislation in the function of achieving personal and social well-being. The author also endeavours to identify the domains and limits of transparency in the work of the central bank in dynamic and complex social circumstances. Primenom dogmatskog, aksiološkog i uporednopravnog metoda, autor nastoji da doprinese funkcionalnom i suštinskom razumevanju značaja i mesta transparentnosti u pozicioniranju monetarne legislative u funkciji ostvarivanja ličnog i društvenog blagostanja, uz eventualno identifikovanje domena i granica transparentnosti u radu centralne banke u dinamičnim i kompleksnim društvenim zbivanjima

NEW CRITERIA FOR STARLIKENESS IN THE UNIT DISC

    Get PDF
It is well-known that the condition [1+zf(z)f(z)]>0\real \left[1+\frac{zf''(z)}{f'(z)}\right]>0, zDz\in {\mathbb D}, implies that ff is starlike function (i.e. convexity implies starlikeness). If the previous condition is not satisfied for every z\in \D, then it is possible to get new criteria for starlikeness by using arg[α+zf(z)f(z)]\left|\arg\left[\alpha +\frac{zf''(z)}{f'(z)}\right]\right|, zDz\in{\mathbb D}, where $\alpha>1.

Observing the development of music pedagogy as a science, it is difficult to imagine the teaching process in the modern era without the integration of contemporary technology. The use of smartphones, tablet computers, and auxiliary tools in Solfège instruction, such as smartboards, audio CD players, projectors, MIDI controllers, and keyboards, represents one of the most significant advancements in the effective delivery of music education today. This paper presents the results of a study conducted to examine the use of smart devices in the implementation of Solfège teaching content. Based on this, an analysis was carried out on a representative sample using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The findings highlight the advantages and limitations of modern digital teaching tools. The research concluded that students hold a positive view regarding the use of modern technologies in Solfège instruction, recognize the competence of professors and teaching assistants in utilizing these technologies, and believe that their application can enhance the creativity of both instructors and assistants.

    Get PDF
The dynamic simulation modeling problem of industrial robot arm is solved, and the trajectory planning dynamic simulation is performed in this paper. In response to the lack of trajectory planning and motion controller interfaces in the robotic modelling study, including the lack of dynamic simulation visualization, a Simscape Multibody-based method for building a dynamic model of industrial robot arm is proposed and the effectiveness of the model is verified through dynamic simulation. The simulation model integrates the robotic arm trajectory planning, motion controller and data acquisition module. It has a clear structure and the parameters are easy to modify. It can reasonably simulate the structure and parameters of the research object and facilitate the subsequent research of related algorithms. It provides an innovative and open-source research and development platform for the dynamic simulation study of the robot arm

HLS IMPLEMENTATION OF OPTIMIZED KNN ALGORITHM ON SOC FPGA

    Get PDF
The K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm is widely used in embedded and real-time systems, where energy and memory constraints demand efficient acceleration. This paper presents a parameterized multi-core KNN hardware accelerator targeting SoC FPGAs, developed using High-Level Synthesis (HLS) in C/C++ with Vitis HLS 2024.2 and synthesized via Vivado 2024.2. The design supports two algorithmic variants—Partial Distance SUM (PDS) and Dynamic Lower Bound (DLB)—which reduce iterations in distance computation to improve performance. Implemented as AXI-Lite IP cores on an AMD Zynq device, the accelerator demonstrates significant speedups over software-only KNN: up to 14.57× (DLB) and 12.83× (PDS) in an 8-core setup. DLB achieves 19–30% faster execution than PDS, with 16–29% higher resource usage. Results confirm the scalability and efficiency of both variants for real-time, resource-constrained applications

Mountain areas of Italy experienced substantial socio-ecological changes over the last four decades. Partly due to outmigration, traditional agro-forestry activities and cultural landscapes were progressively abandoned and forest expanded substantially. Biodiversity trends observed during the last 30 years of rewilding are unlikely to continue under climate change. Understanding the decadal impacts of rewilding remains challenging. Biodiversity monitoring data are scant, scarcely integrated and scattered. Some vegetation plot time-series do exist, but they are essentially point observations in space. Achieving a complete picture of biodiversity change requires integrating different data, expertise, and mostly, viewpoints. Integrating biodiversity surveys with data that is available with complete spatial coverage, such as remote sensing, is a necessary first step. But interpreting biodiversity changes also requires considering people’s perceptions and knowledge. Only a qualitative-quantitative approach allows us to understand not only the patterns and trends of biodiversity change, but also the reasons why it changed. This study proposes an interdisciplinary, data-driven approach to understand historical and future trends of plant biodiversity in Italian rewilded mountain areas. We produced spatially explicit assessments of vegetation change between 1990 and 2020 in three mountain protected areas spanning the Italian Peninsula: 1) Eastern Alps (Lagorai mountain range); 2) Northern Apennines (Foreste Casentinesi Monte Falterona e Campigna NP), and 3) Central Apennines (Velino Massif). To do so, we used generalized dissimilarity modelling (GDMs) to model the dissimilarity of plant assemblages as a function of their geographical distances, ecological dissimilarities, and differences in land cover derived by remote sensing. After calibrating the GDMs with historical and newly collected vegetation plot data, the maps of predicted species composition at different times were created, whose comparison allowed highlighting areas where change in land cover induced the largest changes in species composition, and quantified the consequences for regional plant diversity. Razumevanje višedecenijskih uticaja ovog procesa ostaje izazovno. Podaci o monitoringu biodiverziteta su oskudni, slabo integrisani i rasuti. Postoje određene vremenske serije vegetacionih parcela, ali one predstavljaju suštinski tačkaste opservacije u prostoru. Dobijanje potpune slike promena biodiverziteta zahteva integrisanje različitih podataka, stručnih znanja i, pre svega, perspektiva. Izradili smo prostorno eksplicitne procene promena vegetacije između 1990. i 2020. godine u tri planinska zaštićena područja širom Italijanske peninsule: 1) Istočni Alpi (planinski venac Lagorai); 2) Severni Apenini (Nacionalni park Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna) i 3) Centralni Apenini (masiv Velino).Da bismo to postigli, koristili smo modele generalizovane disimilarnosti (GDM) za modelovanje razlika u sastavu biljnih zajednica u funkciji njihovih geografskih udaljenosti, ekoloških razlika i razlika u pokrivenosti zemljišta dobijenih putem daljinske detekcije.
