Study on support system-making for old person by community organization of disaster prevention
Investigation into consciousness and preparation for the protection against disasters was carried out to the people with special needs to disaster (old person or handicapped person) on the support list that Tokushima Prefecture Komatsushima City made. The conditions which an emergency countermeasure didn't proceed became obvious as to the people with special needs to disaster. But, as for the people whose life, physical condition was good, it became clear that concern was high about the emergency countermeasure. Therefore, the old Person himself enforces an emergency countermeasure by doing proper information service and support. And it is desirable to have the condition that it doesn't need to evacuate at the time of the disaster prepared.Investigation into consciousness and preparation for the protection against disasters was carried out to the people with special needs to disaster (old person or handicapped person) on the support list that Tokushima Prefecture Komatsushima City made. Roman letters and English education for elementary school children
This paper investigates some potentially negative effects that roman letters could have on dictation of English words. The following procedure was used: (1) A group of English words to be used on a dictation test were selected from two middle school English textbooks. (2) A dictation test was given to students who had just entered junior high school. (3) A considerable number of answers on which roman letters could have some effects were extracted. (4) The answers found in (3) were classified into several groups. Finally, based on the results of the experiment, some educational materials are suggested with a view to screening out such negative effects. This paper investigates some potentially negative effects that roman letters could have on dictation of English words. Fat expenditure during exercise after taking amino acid drink on the market
To study body fat expenditure by the intake of amino acid drinks on the market, 10 women exercised for 40 min on a cycle ergometer. The workload was 44 % of heart rate reserve and 50 % of maximal oxygen expenditure. The subjects drank 250 mℓ of the amino acid drink (containing 1250 mg of amino acid) or the placebo before exercising. Oxygen consumption and respiratory exchange ratio (RER) were measured continuously for 50 min: 40 min during the exercise and for a 10-min rest period postexercise. Total fat expenditure calculated from oxygen consumption and RER was 1.7 ± 1.9 g (mean ± SD) for the amino acid-drink group, lower than that for the placebo group (3.9 ± 3.4 g). Sucrose contained in the drink may disturb the expenditure of fat. The results suggested that the amino acid drink did not promote fat expenditure during exercise. To study body fat expenditure by the intake of amino acid drinks on the market, 10 women exercised for 40 min on a cycle ergometer. Global understanding as a motivational factor
This paper addresses ways to make highly motivational EFL lesson content which not only fosters global understanding, but is beneficial to learners in a variety of age groups and learning contexts. The notion of `global understanding' itself can be used to guide syllabus design. As a concept, it guides us in finding ways to encourage understanding between Japan and other countries, as well as creating lessons that appeal to and motivate a broad sweep of Japanese learners. This paper addresses ways to make highly motivational EFL lesson content which not only fosters global understanding, but is beneficial to learners in a variety of age groups and learning contexts. Visiting report of ITMA 2007 in Munich
ITMA(International Exhibition Textile Machinery) is held every four years somewhere in Europe from 1951. As I went this exhibition, I am going to report this. I report: First; the purpose and the working progress of ITMA. Next; the functions of many textile machines; weaving preparatory machinery, air jet weaving machines, rapier weaving machines and projectile weaving. machines. Third; the function of many knitting machinery; warp knitting machines, circular knitting machines and flat bed knitting machines. Four other topics. Finally, I stated (1) the developing direction of textile machinery in advanced countries in 21st century. (2) the effect of visiting this exhibition from the result of my visiting there.ITMA(International Exhibition Textile Machinery) is held every four years somewhere in Europe from 1951. A study on the wooden toys and the productions
Wooden toys can enjoy warmth and moisture in our lives. However, we must assume various elements, the age and the operation method of the user, the safekeeping environment, when we really perform the production. And we have to know the kind and the characteristic of the woods on the market. In this paper, through the representative wooden toys got close to all over the world and which there is a characteristic, I conduct an investigation into the design processes and concepts, and give the way of the production consideration.Wooden toys can enjoy warmth and moisture in our lives. Research on information technology development and universal design in response to the declining birthrate and aging society in Japan: seen as a nursing care problem
This article investigates how two key words, "Ubiquitous" and "Universal Design" are important to consider in relation to nursing and caring problems caused by a decrease in manpower and a shrinking of a producing population. Addressed herein is how this will affect the young people who will bear the future problems of a society with a declining birthrate and an aging population. In reaction to this, various projects have been started under the notion of a "ubiquitous society" suggested by a "u-Japan policy" put forth by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. This includes local government approaches toward universal design. In the main discourse, important elements of approaches to solving problems such as nursing and caring in the future are discussed. This article investigates how two key words, "Ubiquitous" and "Universal Design" are important to consider in relation to nursing and caring problems caused by a decrease in manpower and a shrinking of a producing population. Research on the lifestyle of women colleges students: nutritional intake and physical activity
This study was research on the state of nutrition intake and physical activity. The Subjects were 15 women college students (age 19-20 years old). The questionnaire was conducted daily life and a food intake investigation. The energy, a protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium and iron had nutritional amount lower than the standard value for a result. The physical activity, the total consumption, 1855.2 ± 340.7 kcal and the number of step taken were 9102 ± 2323 steps. In conclusion, the nutrition intake were taken 60 percent of feeding standard. The physical activity satisfied the standard value relatively. They couldn't balance the physical activity with the nutrition intake. This study was research on the state of nutrition intake and physical activity.
